Eytucan was restless. So far Ewya had not shown them a sign to when things would be alright again. They remaining members had done well to rebuild their home and to rebuild their ways, but it wasn't the same. Eytucan was full of angst. He was the chief and their was a problem and he was going to solve it eventually. Once he and the queen had cubs, they would need to find an heir to the throne, someone to be mated to their first born daughter. And this was difficult considering the lack of members and the closeness of blood lines left.
He had gone off for a hunt, not something he usually did alone but he needed to think. His head-dress lightly clanked against his chest as the black male walked, his blue eyes gazing around the various land marks that had once been so common for cubs to play on... now cubs were a thing they did not see.

Her coat was as blue as Caribbean waters, tipped with the palest of whites, she was clean to the point of almost sparkling but her most defining feature was her size. Though she was adult she was tiny, her body petite and dainty, smaller than an adolescent even she was slight, her build showing the merest idea of muscle showing thats he was a tiny huntress and her perfect glassy blue eyes shone with a fire which clearly raged deep in her tiny belly.
Her cubs had grown up and gone their own ways and now she was alone again, Gobo had never returned and the pride she had become a member of would not welcome her back. She was alone now with the twinkle of an idea to find another place to call her home. Where ever she went. she would be strong, she had always been determined to be a warrior and her slight, nubile size gave her at least a little advantage in the field, her speed was her greatest weapon and the knowledge that she could.
Her gaze fell upon the jet black male and she tilted her head curiously, stopping in her tracks she waits cautiously, her muscles tensing as she waited to see what he would do. If he should attack she would show her hand, if not, perhaps a conversation with the almost sad looking male would be fruitful.

Eytucan lifted her head in time to see the lioness come upon him. She was a startling blue color, a color considered normal and beautiful to his people. He lifted his head, his blue mane falling into place. "Greetings stranger." He said simply. He shouldn't be so soft and kind about this greeting, considering it was that fault that had made his people vulnerable not long ago, and left them open for attack and destruction. "I hope I did not frighten you." He said, eyeing her keenly. She looked to be of age and built as such, but was small. Some of his people were built similarily in ways... some taller some smaller, some a bit to fat for their kind but... times were different.
He stepped closer to her, his ornaments clanking lightly against him. "I am Eytucan, Chief of the Iknimaya." He said, lifting his noble head.

She calmed a little as he spoke to her, her pale blue eyes looking over the dark, blue maned male. "Greetings, I am Galanthus Nivalus, of no pride, I apologise if I am trespassing, I did not know a pride lived along here." She smiles a little smile, feeling a little curious about the pride she seemed to have stumbled upon.
"It has been some time since i have spoken to an adult." She chuckles a little tossing a strand of hair from her gaze.

Eytucna observed her quietly. "It is a hidden pride... not many know of us and we have come upon a time of great sorrow and sadness, so we do not draw attention to ourselves often these days." He said, his blue eyes soft. "You are alright. You are trespassing but out of innocent and goodwill and not of threat or cruel intentions. Ewya would not allow that.' He said, blinking. Course, Ewya had not spoken to them in a long long while.
It was very sad but there had to be a reason for her silence, there had to be... but he had to keep faith. He could sense a time of great happiness was near and perhaps all it took was a bit of recruiting to bring in new blood and new life to mother tree.

"A hidden pride." She smiles a little nod takes a step forwards, her gait bouncy and confident despite her tiny size. "Will you tell me of your pride?" Her blue eyes glimmered with curiosity, perhaps something had pulled her this way, perhaps this was the pride she was looking for.
"I, I have been alone for a long time, I really, really don't want to be on my own any more." She pauses and licks her lips, her round tufted ears settling back against her head. "Perhaps, I can help you.." She pauses again and looks at her toes before lifting her head high, standing as tall as she could "I know my size is a little off-putting, but I'm a good hunter." She bites her bottom lip, her size had held her back before, she knew nothing of this pride but she was willing to give it a shot what ever they were.

Eytucan took her words in and observed her for a moment. She looked worthy of her strength and of her confidence. "If you are interested." He paused with a smile. "We live on 'Mother Tree' and it is our home. There are many places to sleep and to be comfortable with other members of our pride. We are a family and we respect one another as such. Do you think you can do that?" He questioned ."You appear to be well in strength and your size is not a problem. We do not see past others's physical form. Your coloring is a very very-it is greatly approved and seen as beautiful. We need plenty of help getting our pride back on its feet."
He paused and looked side to side. "As I said we had a great time of sorrow. We were attacked and lost many to either death or... we do not know... our numbers need strength and power... do you think you can provide this?"

Galanthus smiles lightly "I'm sorry for your loss." She whispers her soft blue eyes looking over the dark male,c heckling for his honesty. He was being truthful, she knew that but she felt slightly cautious. "Yes, I may not be large but i have experience, I'm nt. as young as I look." She chuckles a little, she had been through a lot in her life, she had the experience and hard worn muscles of one who had to work hard t get what she wanted as well as the mind to make sure she was looked after.
"I will follow you to your mother tree." She smiles softly and bows, her cool eyes turning to the ground. "I will help your pride in the best ways I can." She felt a little tingle of joy that her colour was classed as beautiful, a colour welcomed in this pride, she nods happily, "I'll help in every way I can."

Eytucan smiled warmly and stepped up beside the lioness. He was sure she would fit right in and no doubt one of the males would one day choose her as their mate. "Mother tree is very large, it is our home base and our connection to one another. The tree of souls is where we can sit and listen and think of our ancestors, and the tree of voices is where we speak to Eywa and hold ceremonies of birth, life and death.' He said, walking his way along the warn path that led them to Mother tree.
"You are a strong lioness, do you think you would like to be a warrior among us? It is a difficult thing to be, if we are attacked again it will be warriors like you that defend us the most." He looked down to her. "And if you decide to become one of us, you are family. Brothers and sisters to everyone in the pride. When a male seeks you out to be his mate, you may chose to say yes or no, we do not allow unhappiness in our pride much."

Galanthus' heart leapt a beat, her smile broadening as she looked up at the large black male. he was offering her a warriors position? Yes, that was what she was, tiny, petite, defenceless on first glance, but look in to those icey eyes and she was a warrioress. "I would like that very much, I may be small but I can fight with the best of them." She smiles a clear confident smile, her head lifted as high as it could be her nose tilted to show she could take care of herself, as she had, had to do for so long.
A mate, well that was the last thing on her mind, but to have a family around her, a true family, well that was a wonderful thought. "It sounds like I may have found my place at last." She whispers walking beside the blue maned male happily, something clearly had lead her here to this place, with a pride that loved her colour and could see what she was despite her size. yes, this would become her home, she could feel it.

Eytucan smiled down at her as the large tree came into view. He paused his step to gaze at it, so beautiful in its splendor and so strong, nothing could take it down. He looked down to her with a grin. "That is mother tree." He said softly. "And I do not doubt your abilities. You are small but your heart makes up for it with your shining eyes. I can see it. " He started to walk again. "You may want to seek out my mate, Zelt'zin. She is the spiritual leader and will speak to you on private matters, matters I do not understand."
"She will clue you in on the ways of a good female... but i have no doubt you know all the ways. You spoke of having cubs before. A skilled mother... something everyone needs at times. " He said. Perhaps someday she would be happy and have cubs in his pride.

She paused as he did and gazed at the large, dark tree with all is misters, she couldn't imagine how long it had taken to grow such a massive structure. Giving a nod she lets a little chuckle roll over her lips, someone who could see what she was from her very eyes, a strange but wonderful concept, she would become a great warrior for this pride, she just knew it.
"Yes, they are grown now and gone their own ways. I will seek out your mate my lord, and I will learn your was." She smiles and flickers her tail , this was definitely the place for her, something had brought her here perhaps the goddess he spoke of, or perhaps the very tree which now filled her gaze. "I will protect this pride." She whispers, a heart felt phrase which made her heart beat faster if only for a moment, this, was home now.

Eytucan smiled with the sorrow and sadness he felt in his heart lifting. Such happiness towards joining their life style and their people. He chuckled as well. "I am glad you look forward to your life here... May Eywa follow you and keep you safe." He said, stepping up to the tree and gazing upwards.
"My mate should be inside... I must go off and continue my duties. I am glad to have welcomed you into our pride."

Nodding to the large black male she looks up at the beautiful old tree and smiles stepping inside. This was whee her life was to lead her, she was pleased,. "Thank you." She whispers, pausing to watch him leave before vanishing between the enormous trees roots.
