I'm sorry but I must come clean.
I hate this. It infuriates me too. But then again, as the other Repo/RepoMen threads have said (and Terrance mind you) it will in the end be for the better of Repo.
But I have to admit that is a pretty bad-a** site! Especially the organs on the side!
But I still love Repo's grittiness and dark gothic nature! I heart 's Repo FOREVAH!

I'm actually looking forward to Repo Men. Elsewhere on the interwebz, I have been told this makes me a bad Repo! fan (or not a true fan at all), but I honestly don't see why it has to be one or the other.
And omg! The elevator music on the website. xD

"Artiforgs"? That sounds... so. wrong. gonk The organs look like premium sex toys, and of course they took the year the whole thing takes place in from Repo!.
It does not have the dark future that Repo! depicts. It is all shiny and happy, and the only thing people have to worry about are Repo Men. No deteriorating society thrown in there at all. The site looks nice, but the contents turn me off (artiforgs, WTF!?), Repo! fan or not. sweatdrop

That aside, I still love what Terrance said regarding Repo Men:

I agree; I think there are two types of people who will see Repo Men:
1. The kind of people who love big blockbusters, who would never be interested in a movie like Repo!
2. People intrigued by the setting (regardless of what other kinds of movies they like) who may be potential Repo! fans.
We need to get over the people in the first group. They never affected us and they never will. The people in the second group are who we should care about. Who would have ever thought Paris Hilton fans would be into a dark scifi horror rock opera? But some are. We would never have picked them out to promote to on our own. Now we have a whole new group of people we probably would never have seen on the street and thought "Hey, I bet he'd like Repo!"
It really does suck and I understand where you guys are coming from, but being angry doesn't do anybody any good. It doesn't stop the movie from coming out, or from it making lots of money, and it doesn't help any of that money go to the Repo! crew. But using the movie to create new Repo! fans helps us all.

I am not raging over it per say, but stating my opinion based on the contents of that site. It just seems bland to me...
If I seriously had something like one of the "artiforgs" (*coughapreschoolercouldthinkofsomethingbettercough*) in me, I would rather a Repoman get it back. I am NOT a robot! gonk

@OP: My statement was a more general one to people in the Repo Men hatedom. If you think it's silly/stupid/wrong/bland/whatever but don't hate it, then my statement wasn't directed towards you.
Also, yes. Artiforg is a stupid word. It reminds me of Slartibartfast. Vaguely rude-sounding if you say it fast, but it has no real meaning. XD
