When Gaians had started selling fish to keep as pets, people got to enjoy decorating tanks and filling them with all assortment of wacky items and decorations. And what do people do when they've got fancy tanks full of cool fish? Show them off and celebrate it!

It was at one of these big shows that Roshan and Riya were found peering about at the different fish. The lighter skinned child was standing up against a large tank, his nose pressed to the glass, and was watching with rapt amazement as different fish swam by, with his mother standing next to him and doing the exact same thing. A small ways away from him, the darker twin was investigating a table of free food, which features little chocolate truffly things.

Roshan noticed the approaching family rather fast and dashed over to say hello. "Hi there!" the toddler greeted, waving at the girl and taking a bite of the truffle he'd nabbed.

This was supposed to be a family trip Caleb noted with mild amusement. Instead though it had turned out into a tiny private outing for him and his nephew. Even though Morgan and Skylar had the day off school the Nu Mou twins refused to come with him and Nate and to the aquarium to see the fish show. The chef honestly didn't understand why , he'd tried to explain to them that there was no way they were going to get wet there but for his son and other nephew the idea of being surrounded by so much water was too terrifying for logic to overcome. Rather than make them suffer he'd left them stay home while he carted their younger relative about to look at all the pretty and sadly non edible fishies.


Nate waved small boney fingers at a tiny glowing fish that darted back and forth inside it's tank. Why was it so excited?

Roshan grinned, bouncing a bit on his toes. "I'm Ro. 'S to meetcha toooo." he told her nodding a bit enthusiastically as he looked down at his treat and nibbled more of the cream. "From table." he said, pointing to the table.

It just so happened that the buffet table was right near where Nate was looking at the glowy fish. "Oooooh! Look! A bo-neeeee boy! He's bo-nee like your face, 'Mani! Less go say hi!" he told her, grabbing the girl's hand and dragging her over towards Nate. "Hi Bo-neeee boy!" the toddler greeted like that was the most normal thing in the world.

Nearby, Riya had noticed the fairy creature and the old lady by the knight fish and darted over to see them. "Ooh! Lookit the fishies!" he said, clapping his hands and staring in wonder at them. "S'got helmets!"

Nate clicked his fingers together pleased with the sudden attention he and the glowing fish were getting. Clearly being referred to as the bony boy did not bother the small reaper at all. In fact it just made the skeletal boy grin " Hiii" small words, the mimic of actual talking was all the infant could currently manage, still Nate was generally good at expressing himself.

Inside the tank the glowing fish did a full loop to display it's own pleasure at being watched.

Eve walked beside her mother as she asked about the many fish. As usual and much to the infant's delight, Ivy knew a lot about the fish that they had come to see. Ivy was telling her daughter about the two kinds of mermaids that could be seem. "There's Lila and Memphis. Memphis is the blue one and Lila is the one that is orange."

Eve hugged her mother's leg before walking away to mingle with the other children. Knowing a few faces from those she had seen at past parties.

Eve blinked at the nickname, but didn't think it an insult. She smiled when he came over, but was surprised when he pulled her over to his friends. She smiled lightly while trying to remember their names, having seen them recently at the valentine party. She was grateful when he introduced them to her.

"Hi," she waved, not sure how to introduce herself. One on one, she could handle. More than one person meeting her, not so much. Remembering her mother's words, she tried to sound friendly and not so shy.

She smiled, "I'm Eve."

Eve nodded, "Nice to meet you." The little girl was grateful for her mother reading to her when they had time to. She glanced at the glowing fish, not remembering if her mother knew what it was or not. "Pretty, what is it?" Eve asked softly, very curious.
