[PLOT SYNOPSIS:]

In the interim, this will be very vague xD.

All we have right now is there's some sort of interstellar war going to happen. Your typical 'world needs saving by unlikely heroes' fare, but with our own unique flavour added to the mix.

It's a free for all concerning both writers - so this is likely to change and grow as the story progresses.

[THE REALM]

This is the realm in which our protagonists' fates will be spun.

The World:



Set on DBZ's version of planet Earth (initially - with my own flavour added); it was the only way I could make this easier in terms of creating a realm where both characters can mutually exist.

It is a futurisitic world where politics, race or religion no longer matter. National borders no longer exist within the political sphere - hence most major central business districts (usually megalopoli) are named based on their geographical orientation (ie. Western Capital). The only exception to this rule are minor cities, settlements, colonies, regional districts and geographical landmarks (ie. Arid Wastes).

Politically, this realm recognises only one government body presiding over the entire planet; the United Earth Directorate (UED; and yes I kinda stole that from Starcraft) - headed by the Chancellor. Naturally due to the world's massive nature, each major megalopolis falls under the jurisdiction of a City Governor, who answers directly to the UED. The UED has governed the world for a little over 800 years without major incident. Kings and tribal leaders are only held as figureheads for the colonies and settlements that desire a monarch or chief for cultural reasons; and hold the same powers as city governors.

It is far more technically advanced than our world - air cars and encapsulation technology are not uncommon. Most of this realm's technology is developed, owned and patented under the Capsule Corporation's brand - the world's largest, wealthiest and most influential technological conglomerate to date. The company was founded by the eccentric, but brilliant scientist Dr. Brief, and expanded tenfold under the leadership of Dr. Bulma Brief. Interestingly enough, Capsule Corps' business boomed around the time of Vegeta's arrival and eventual marriage to the heiress, suggesting that he may have 'helped out' by introducing alien technology to their R&D efforts (it's a DBZ canon and fanon thing - ask if you want reasons xD). The company has since been passed on to the capable hands of Trunks Vegeta Brief, who has been able to successfully maintain his mother's legacy.

Character Connections:

As you know, the main players in this RP are Jonathan Davis and Vegeta - finding a way for them to be connected was a bit tricky. Eventually I settled on something simple.

Vegeta's son Trunks and Jonathan Davis go way back, college years in fact. As one of Trunks' normal friends (as in... not Goten or any of the DBZ posse), JD is initially unaware of his family's powers or extraterrestrial connections. To JD, Trunks is just a buddy he has barbeques, sees bands and parties with.
