This is an essay I had to do for an English assignment. I got bored from doing Literature homework and decided to post it.
"Where am I?" I asked myself regaining conciousness in a dark room. My face grimanced as the cramped closet smelt like my older brother's feet and my head flet like a pumpkin. My nose unleashed a powerful sneeze. I shakingly stood up to my feet but fell to the hard floor. My body ached, but I finally managed to stand up. I had no clue where I was. After the closet was scrutinized, I found the light switch. My eyes were adversed to the white blinding light. I tried to open the door, but it was locked. My cell phine was missing from my pocket. Even more puzzling, the pocket that held my phone was completly ripped off of my black jeans. Not only that, my shoulder and upper arm seemed to bear scars after being attacked by a shark. There was no escape. All of a sudden, I heard a door open and then there were voices.
i quickly turned off the light and listened at the door. "The girl is in the closet." Said a male's voice. "Good. Go and check on her." Replied a belligerent male's voice. Heavy footsteps grew closer and closer. I retrogressed to the middle of the floor and pretended to be unconcious. Although my eyes remained shut, they were not impervious to the shining, white glow of the closet's light. After the light vanished and the door was locked, I quietly stood up and sat in the dark. " Oh my God. I've been kidnapped!" I frantically though to myself. "How did I get myself into this mess? For all I know this place can be filled with rapers and murderers. Or worse, demons and vampires. Yikes!" I felt as if my life was in jeopardy. The sound of faint voices reached my ears and I slowly made my way to the door.
"Are you sure she's the one?" the belligerent male's voice questioned. "Yesss" said a snake-like female's voice. "She's the one Diomos calls upon. Her holocaust must be soon; before tonight's new moon." I gasped at the woman's words. "I'm going to be killed? I've got to get out of here!" I whispered loudly. "Master! The girl is awake!" the first male's voice cried. "Me and my big mouth!" I screamed in my head. It was clear to me that I was dealing with forces outside the world of my understanding. I heard heavy footsteps heading to my direction and backed away from the door. Suddenly someone grabbed me from behind and covered my mouth. "If you want to live pass this moon come with me." A wicked, but benevolent voice whispered. I tepidly nodded my head. The both of use vanished just as the enemy opened the door.
