The Goddess and her Children

Before the twin suns of Aerithe were created, Aerithe was left in darkness. No life could flourish on the cold planet save for the Goddess herself. Through her lonliness the goddess had become childheavy and was close to birth. Though her children were within her womb, they were restless and caused many upsets.

After the birth her children grew quickly, both granted light upon the planet and life had begun its long course. Aerithe was happy, looking upon her world and children in harmony. Until one of her offspring chose to cause pain and suffering. It did not take long for the other to find enjoyment in the idea as well.

Fire had reached the planet, killing many, blizzards of snow, walls of dust hitting towns like tsunamis of earth. Aerithe watched in horror as she was forced to choose between her world and her children. Within seconds she had her children bound into the fiery infernos of the twin suns. One bright red named Tsu'na the son of fire and the other blue, Dirin'ae sister of ice.

Aerithe now watches over her children constantly casting her spell to ensure their eternal sleep.

The goddess wanders alone yet again.
