Pwani stretched, intending to some exploring while Mzimu slept. He was safe enough for a bit. Besides...gods forbid anyone wake him up that wasn't her. SHE at least knew how take his beatings and give 'em back two-fold. Besides...there were rumors of a pride not far from where they'd denned. Maybe she could get some tasty info to take home if she skirted the borders. The white and brown adolescent started that way, tail swishing behind her as she went, humming a tuneless song (that was a bit offkey). She would totally have her info before Mzimu.

Kagiso let out a low but deep yawn as he continued on his way along the boarder of the pride. Being a nobel it was obviously not his job to protect the boarders, he simply tended to find the need to roam and explore other places besides his den site. It was cool enough that he felt comfortable and no need to stop and rest under the shade of the tree, which ment more creatures besides himself would be out and about. Perhaps he could just find someone to entertain him for the time being. If all else failed, he'd at least get to stretch his legs

It was weather like this that made Pwani miss home (not that she didn't already). But...this was important. She and Mzimu had to take this Seeking, to prove themselves as adults in the pride. But such nice, cool weather reminded her of the beach and the ocean...Only thing it was missing was the sight of endless blue water and the smell of salt and the feel of sand between her toes. She took and deep breath and stopped just short of the border, catching the scents that meant 'back off!'. Ah...perfect. Now...all she had to do was wait for someone to come along, find out if this was a pride that welcomed visitors, or chased them off.

Kagiso lifted his head into the breeze to enjoy the feel of the cool air against his mane but frowned slightly when he picked up a different scent on the wind. A strange female he had not encountered before he was sure. Curiosity drove him foreward and he trotted in the direction the scent was coming from. Finally the white female came into view and he slowed his trot as he approached her. "These are Sukafumo lands you are wondering into little one"

Pwani grinned as a dark male approached. Yes! She forced her grin to dim to a smile, and gave a small bow in politeness. Mom and Dad had made damn sure she and her sibs knew their manners. "So that's the name of this place? I was wondering." Such an interesting name..."My name's Pwani'wingu. I'm a wanderer, seeking knowledge. I mean no harm."

Kagiso couldn't help but grin. He had soft spot for females that always seemed to rare up when he was around them, even those not in his own pride. He took a moment to take in her appearence, cirlcing her slowly. He could feel confindant enough that nothing would go wrong since he was after all on his turf, even if he wasn't the king of the pride. "I'm certain a pretty little thing like yourself would mean no harm to us."

Pwani blinked. Oh he didn't. She kept her smile, trying to not whack the male upside the head. She was pretty, possibly, since her Mom was. And she was her mother's daughter in appearance (although her Mom had black, instead of white). But...Pwani was a Fighter! Quick and tough and strong of fang and claw! A perfect defender of Knowledge! "Oh...you'd be surprised."

Kagiso smirked slightly and finally sat infront of her, giving her a curious look. She sounded to be a bit of a spit fire. The innocence of youth he was sure. It was hard not to chuckle at her words since he'd herd them many times before. He himself as a youth had said them. Everyone would be surprised when he grew up into a strong noble of the pride. And he had indeed made his goals come into reality. "So what knowledge are you seeking little one?"

Pwani kept her temper. She needed knowledge! She wanted to be an adult far more than she wanted to show this male she was one heck of a Fighter! "All sorts. Anything that might be important or useful." She grinned. "Where I'm from, we collect information and knowledge." She wasn't nearly as good at remembering things as her mother, but she certainly had enough room left in her brain to remember three bits of info for home.

Kagiso couldn't help but smile once more and listen to her. Such a strange and interesting female she was. It seemed she was from a pride of knowledge seekers. "And why should I tell you something important or useful... that would be giving away our secrets." He flicked his tail behind him and relaxed back more, comfortable and knowing she wouldn't try anything foolish.

The lioness chuckled. "It doesn't have to be anything big on your part, or pride secret-y. Could just be a bit of info on the movement of a herd that doesn't stay in the area for long. I can string info like that together with other bits I've collected, to form the movement of a herd. Or...you don't even have to share anything." She nodded. "We respect if you do not wish to share."

Kagiso sighed and nodded slightly. She was a clever one. But it was innocent enough. All she wanted was prey information? He could give her that at least. "Here in the mountains we don't have many herds of prey come by, we tend to do our hunting for small animals or take our hunts else well. If it's herds of prey your looking for they are not here"

Pwani shrugged. "That's okay." Well...it had been worth a try. And...he was at least being polite about it. So that was a plus! "Thank you for sharing what you did. And for indulging a Seeker." She would need to get back to Mzimu soon than. Darn...she hadn't gotten herself 'ahead'. She'd have to try harder later.

Kagiso nodded his head in formality to her and stood up and stretched a bit. "I'm sorry I could not help you more little one. I wish you well on your journey." Seeing no further entertainment for himself, he headed back down the path of the boarder once more and continued on his way.
