 The sun had just began to rise and the air felt thin. As Seizken walked around the open lands. Unsure where he'd ended up or even where he was going. Since he had walked through out the night with no rest. As he began to walk, his paws hit the ground heavly with each step. Almost as if they were trying to tell him to rest. Though he was on a mission and nothing would stop him. As he breathed in the air around him. He realized today seemed like the perfect day for something to happen though. What he wasn't sure but it just felt like today could be interesting. With that thought in his head, his stomach began to growl. Then he soon realized he hadn't even eaten yet. "Well I probably should look for some food," he thought quietly to himself as he began to scan the lands. Wondering if there was even anything to hunt out. Since he had only been in these lands a few weeks.

 Days started earlier now than they ever had before. Kimya was up hours before the sun preparing for the day ahead with his travelling companion sleeping just a ways away. He smiled as he watched her chest rise and fall with each breath before padding off.
Time. It seemed like he had so much of it and so little these days. He no longer looked at others like they were out to get him, though he still believed it, and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Even now he was looking over his shoulder to make sure he was truly alone. Time; it was supposed to heal wounds, but that only worked the physical ones.
Looking about, he noticed that indeed he wasn't alone. There was another lion, so rare a sight these days with all the females he'd met. He stuck out much like Kimya himself in this landscape, but his jewelry aided him in some way. Walking slowly, he hoped to pass by without drawing the other males attention.

Seizken gentley jerked up his head as he smelled a smell of some sort. The smell was not a familiar one and it definitely didn't smell like a meal. So he slowly began to lift his head and turned towards the direction of the smell. As soon as he took a big wiff of the hair and could smell it clear as day.
He looked straight ahead and to his surprise right in his view was another lion. He seemed to be slowly walking though he just couldn't believe. There was someone out here and who knew maybe they knew where some food was. He knew he probably should just walk up and be acting like their best friends. Though maybe he could at least say hello, "it couldn't hurt could it?" He questioned himself under his breath as he then began walking towards the other lion. Hoping he wasn't making a huge mistake...

Kimya's pulse spiked.
He looked at the lion, then turned his eyes nervously to the ground and back up. What was he supposed to do? M-maybe the other wasn't going for him. Yes! That was the trick. It only looked like he was the one getting approached.
On the chance of looking like a fool, Kimya held his head aloofly and continued on his merry little way. Never once did he stop thinking about the pessimistic possibilities, however. Right now he wished he had Zana at his side to calm him or shoo the offender away. Skiddishly, he looked over his shoulder and hustled a little faster.

As seizken looked he notice the other lion was hurring off. All he could think was that he must have scared him in someway. He knew he should have tried the other approach he had in mind.
Though part of him knew he could never pull that off. The other way just wasn't him, he couldn't do that to someone. Be mean to them and act like they were so much smaller than he was. It was the way of his old life and he refused to go back to that.
So he decided to stick with what plan he had chosen and raced up towards the other lion. "Hey! Wait up a second!," he yelled as he dashed after them. With his mane blowing in the wind as he ran.

Kimya could have died.
His heart pumped so hard that it started to hurt his chest. He naturally panicked when he looked back and saw the lion advancing. The ground below him vanished with each touch off of his hurried jog.
He hadn't expected to be talked to, let alone have it sound decent, so Kimya slowed to a half and half turned back to watch him, head quirked to the side. Now, just what did he want?

Seizken slowed down his pace and smiled at the other lion. Then realized he probably had scared the other lion which was why he ran off in the first place. Oops.
"Sorry if I scared you, I promise that was not my intention at all. I just didn't expect to see anyone else out here," Seizken admitted shyly.
Since out of all the days he'd been out here all he'd seen was food. It was as if he either missed every creature that walked through these lands. Or the alternative which is he was the only one out here. Though today he knew that wasn't true, since he had found someone at least.
"Though let’s start from the beginning, hi there I'm Seizken!" He said extending a paw to the other lion.

Oh, so that was it. Kimya's ears swiveled up to a perk. How long had the other lion been out here if he talked to the first stranger he saw? Obviously, Kimya would have preffered not socializing at all, but that was different.
He smiled and shook the other Seizken's paw warmly. For a moment he forget he couldn't speak and started mouthing 'Hey. I'm Kimya'. With a flush he placed a paw on his throat and drew back.

Seizken smiled as the other lion shook his paw. For it seemed he had chosen just the right lion to talk to afterall.
After releasing his paw, he watched as the other lion begin to open his mouth. No words came out of his mouth, and then he realized it he couldn't talk. Maybe that was why he had been avoiding him all this time he thought.
Somehow though he had been able to understand exactly what he had tried to say, by reading his lips. "Well hi Kimya its nice to meet ya," he said with a warm smile on his face. Though after he spoke he couldn't help but wonder why couldn't the other lion speak? "Is something wrong with your voice," he said out of slight concern. Even though if he could speak or not it didn't really matter to him, since he was just glad to have company. Out here in what seemed like barren lands to him.
