what are everyones thoughts on an equivalant exchange and alchemy as the world law?

 First of all, this doesn't belong in this form. Ny thoughts on the magical substance is quite powerful, not words can explain it. But, I don't think alchemy is a world law. I love this topic, Smiles, Mayhem, roken, and/or any other crew member, what should we put this topic? It could go in so many! I'll put it in your opinion.

i am rather fond of the idea of alchemy. it is one area where magic and science work together in harmony, which seems to be a rare occurrence.
equivalent exchange is a harmonious idea, too, since it matches up with the scientific law concerning matter and energy. nothing can be created or destroyed. i can't say that i really like that idea, since it is a huge limitation, but it is elegant. 3nodding
