 Vibrant dug slightly into the soft coating of snow covering what little as left of the grass bellow. Winter would hopefully be fading out soon. But it was still cold enough to snow and blanket he ground in soft white. He pawed again nibbling up a few more dry blades of grass before lifting his head again to look around. There didn't seem to be anyone around, not that he was much for socialization, but since reuniting with Lovebeam and taking his long time friend as his new mate he felt much lighter and found it easier to be around others. He'd been spending most of his time with her now, and he nearly was his old self again though he still did lack some of the muscle mass he'd once had. Flicking his tail once the stallion put his muzzle back to the ground and started to dig up small patches of grass again.

 Things in Zeda's life was starting to pick up too. She has been happily life mated for over a year to a wonderful loyal Stallion, who seemed to come back no matter how much abuse she threw at him. He had been there despite who she was... no he was there for who she was... which she did not understand, however she was grateful. Wondering something came into sigh, someone who she had not seen in a long time? what was she to do? should she walk away?... He was her daddy. Even her cold heart wanted to see him. He was her father and no matter how much she wanted to ignore the fact she loved him. Even though when she left before was probably when he needed her. However she needed him too, however he was a shell, no use. He let her down as much as she did him... at least that's what she thought... hoping the b***h was not around she wondered closer to the bright stallion and cleared her throat. "Hello..."

Vibrant's head jerked up making his mane fly when he heard the voice. His glowing eyes fell on the form of his daughter there, he was speechless for a moment then a huge grin spread across his face. "Zeda!" His long tail flicked back and forth as he took a step towards her.
"My dearest daughter" he looked her up and down briefly "you look as grand as ever." He grinned wider, it was good to see at least one of his children again, Morgana was gone, she had a mate and was off with him most of the time. VSoD was glad for her if the stallion made her as happy as he'd heard, but he hoped still one day that his youngest would see fit to visit her father again.
But for now Zeda at least was here to see him.

Zeda looked at him, he was not acting like he used to at all. Why was he trying to complement her? she wondered, was he feeling guilty? was he trying to win her over? she would not acuse him of anything, he was her father and even though he had his flaws she cared. However she was not going to be a loving daughter straight away. She would not let anything go back to her loving foal years, she did not want to get hurt again. Not by anyone anymore! "Err... Thanks, you seem happy." She stated making the observation, last time she saw him he looked ready to jump off of something high, now he seemed to be all smiles, maybe he had finally gotten over her mother, she knew she had, ******** b***h, leaving once was bad enough, coming back in her life to befriend her just to disapear again was unforgivable. Just thinking about her made her mad!

He flicked an ear lazily and looked around, he had hopped to see Lovebeam today but seeing Zeda again was just as good.
He turned back to his daughter, mane fluttering against his neck, "I guess I am pretty happy ..." he smiled slightly, eyes loosing their focus and seeming to stare off into space for a second. "I haven't seen your sister in such a long time, but I heard through as little birdy Morgana has found herself a mate." He frowned slightly, he doubted he'd ever get to meet Morgana's love.
He didn't mention his own mate, he worried how his daughter would take it. Did she resent him for leaving her mother? She had once hated him because of the mare, what were her feelings now?
The stallion shook is head pushing the thoughts away, "what about you Zeda?" he chuckled "any stallion swept you off your hooves yet?"

Zeda looked at him and lowered her head, she guess if she was going to let out a bombshell on her father, she might as well do it in a nice way. "I have been with a stallion now for almost 2 years, we are going to have a family.... I know Zeda, the foal who used kill bunny rabbits and make colts cry, how the world is coming to a end?" She stated flicking her mane and looking at him from the side, the strands covering part of her blood soaked patches around her eye. She thought for a moment, her sister had found a mate? that really was the end of her world. She always new the day her sister spawned the devil would come to live amongst them. "Well I hope her mate will do her some good."... then again unless he was a exorcist or in fact a brain surgeon that was unlikely. She did not mean to be so mean when thinking about her sister. However it was the way the siblings always had and always will be. Even though not so opposite, too alike in there flaws to get along.
"At least you have perked up now. What's caused suck a change?" She asked, what Zeda had learned from her mate was there is no smoke with out fire. Everything happens for a reason, even a change or heart or a smile. So her broken father for some reason must have pulled himself together. She was sure. Even though she would never guess it had been another women.

Vibrant blinked slightly, 2 years Had he really been so out of it for two years? "Really? Wel, it's only proper I meet him sometime." He grinned softly at her tail flicking back and forth. He wasn't angry at her, hell how would she have found him to tell him that she was mating to a stallion.
He chuckled at her speaking of Morgana "time can change hearts, maybe she's different ... but I doubt I'll never know." He shook his head sadly, for a moment his glowing eyes went cloudy. He shook his head again and his face brightened once more and he grinned at her.
Her next question made him falter briefly "Uhm," he rocked slightly "... well... I met up with a very old friend recently." He smiled slightly to himself, friend, he almost chuckled. No she was much more than that but he wasn't sure if Zeda needed to know that yet.

Zeda looked at her father, truth was she did not see her mate too much herself. He came and went as he choose forever travelling, at times it seemed like the only places he went were places away from her, however if her father wanted to meet him one day she saw no harm in it, not like he could say anything that would change her mind about being with him. Besides they were both too laid back not to like each other. "Very well, if that is the case father I am having a wedding, if you would like to come and meet him you may do then." She stated with a small smile, it might be fun if he came, she had been wanting to make peace with her father for a long time.
She looked at him, a very old friend? it would have taken more than that so she did not want to pry, if he did not want to tell her, she did not have a problem, its not like they were close. However a part of her was hoping to change that. She smiled and tilted her head. "Hmm, what is this old friend like then? are they attractive?" she smiled rolling her eyes before she trotted past him, leaning down to smell some flowers acting the innocent.
