It'd been ages since Azzo saw the inside of a real gym. However the paper clipping said they'd have kick boxing lessons here. It sounded like a good way to keep in shape and have some sort of defense readily available should one need it.
He was resting on a wall as he waited for an attendant to get back. Apparently they ran out of forms so she had to run some copies. He was dressed in some what formal attire, even though it was still casual. It looked to fancy to actually belong in a gym, which was normally sweat shirts and pants.
His eyes flicked around the gym when she got back and he finished the papers he asked the lady if he could wonder around the gym to see where everything was. As he basically got a full membership just to join into the Kick boxing classes, there might be something else he was interested in prodding around in there.
Little did he know he was about to run into one of the students of the infamous Hillworth school.

Heavy labor gave you muscles in places you didn't even think you had them. At first, it was a painful b***h, you ended up sore and tired all day and then later when you went back to work. A week off might have been a reprieve some would say, for Marlo and him nothing having to do Killingworth's detention regime from hell.
After a week of not using those muscles, the sudden shock of returning to use left Marlo in more pain then expected. At the doctor's suggestion, Marlo had signed up for a daily work out after class in Hillworth's gym. Sad part was, after 30 mins, sooner or later Collins of Killingworth himself would show and then well...It was safe to say Marlo did most of his working out at one of Destiny City's gym.
Coming out from the bathroom in his Hillworth mandatory sweats, Marlo quirked a brow at the over dressed student just standing around. "Is this your first time to a gym?"

Azzo paused and looked over to Marlo, "Well it has been a while." He was taking in the details of the uniform without you know looking like he was observing Marlo.
"I just swung by really to sign up for that kick boxing class. Hoping by next week when they start the doctors will be off my a** about broken ribs." He was moving a lot better than when he first got out of the hospital.
However it'd explain to the guy, without explaining to much 'cause he wasn't quite sure how to actually explain how they happened.

"The longer you wait to get back into the flow, the harder it is. I found that out just recently." He popped his back. "The hard way." Looking around, Marlo noticed his favorite machine, the treadmill, was full up. A rarity, given the room held over twenty. Looks like his cardio would have to wait.
"Well, better to wait on the doctor then try your luck and end up with a broken rib stabbing into your lung and drowning in blood." He frowned. "Sorry. I'm Marlo, Marlo Xanis. From...Hillworth if you haven't already guessed." A hand was held out in greeting.

Azzo nodded, "Yeah, we'll see how much a year or better has effected me next week." He looked a bit remorseful at the fact he couldn't remember the last time he worked out.
He noticed Marlo looking over towards the Treadmills. "If you wanna run or walk, I don't mind watching." He gave a soft nod. He'd been use to watching, or just walking at a steady pace when gym class actually made him do something.
"Yeah they said it was amazing that being broken they hadn't actually killed me in the first place..." he left unsaid how many were broken but it from the way the doctors had talked at least three were broke. But what broke them he had no idea.
"Azzo Wolf Crowley." He said taking Marlo's hand in greeting. "I'm ... actually still kind of learning about the schools around here. I'm in Meadowview for now." He said, however his dress stated clearly he was more use to boarding schools and fancy dress codes, not shorts and silly ascots.

As soon as Azzo mentioned the treadmills, Marlo was greeted with the sight over a young girl in a sports bra far too loose for her. "Uh, not at the moment." Shaking hands was alway odd with Marlo. He would edge just on holding on to tightly or too long. He never seemed to get it right.
"Wolf? Huh. Well, better then b*****d I suppose. If my dad had naming rights. Ugh, I don't even want to think about that one." Finally Marlo let go. At least he'd not broken anymore bones in Azzo. "Oh? Well, we're the school of rabble rousers, or, the hooligans. Meadowview is the sort of school Switzerland, and Crystal is the b***h fortress, where the occasion princess is held captive by the evil b***h witches. Overall, everybody says the schools are extreme, but like all extremes, in reality it's quite normal."
Leaning on the counter, Marlo read a few lines on kick boxing. They also had boxing tournaments. Interesting. "But, where are you from originally? I was a New Yorker myself, but, after a while the accent got lost. For the better I would think."

Azzo nodded, his glance followed Marlo's. "I see..." He gave a soft frown at the girl. Really some people need professional dressers in Azzo's opinion. Not that he was a fashion expert but he knew what was comfortable and what was too damn loose.
"Heh, yeah my dad was about the same way. However you know how some parents are. Giving kids names they shouldn't ever be called." He gave a slight chuckle, he didn't mind Marlo's handshake, at least it was firm and not a handshake with a wet noddle. "I've gotten worse nicknames I'm sure."
"Rabble rousers huh?" He paused when he heard that Crystal was 'the b***h fortress' he frowned. "huh... Melody is suppose to go there... I wonder if she knows..." He mused almost glancing out the window. "I just wish Meadowview didn't have shorts. Those things are kind of embarrassing."
"Originally?" He said bitting his lower lip a little. "I'm from a small town, lots of farms. Went to a boarding school that had some.... issues with things... and ended up here." He shrugged. He at least guessed that was what Barren Pines was suppose to be. A boarding school... However he kept it vague hoping not too many questions would be asked because he sure couldn't answer them.

"Look at it this way. Crystal does have a few gems...just hidden in the trash is all." Pocketing the flier for boxing, Marlo began to walk over to the elliptical. He motioned Azzo to follow him as he started the machine up. "Well, better then living much of your life in them. I have, its not very pleasant. But, beats having to deal with my folks."
There he was. Getting on the machine it came to life with a light buzz. "So, how did you end up with broken ribs? Fight?"

He nodded, "Well hopefully stuff like that doesn't change people." He paused, "Yeah... my folks are off vacationing around the world. Staying with my grams."
He shrugged, "Old senile lady." He added in, "Less worse than dealing with parents." He chuckled as he followed Marlo. "Eh they're nice from time to time though."
He paused watching, and then the question he was hoping didn't come, came. He bite his lower lip. "Here's the thing, I'm not sure how I got them." He shook his head, "I woke up in the hospital with them broken and no idea what happened, though that'd be my guess. It wasn't a car accident or anything like that." He rubbed the back of his head. He was trying to be vague, because he wasn't sure if this one had heard of the organ ring. Besides that he wouldn't know what Marlo would've thought of him having been one of the ones to survive it.
Even then the question would be, How does one get broken ribs in an organ ring? They need all that intact.

"Huh." Marlo wanted to press, but the subject was obviously tender, and pissing off some random person was not on Marlo's to do list. At least not today. "So this Melody? She your girl friend or just... a friend?" Looking a head, Marlo's vision was captured by another girl with less than a stable bust. At lest she looked legal. And not like a twig.
"Mmm...after all women can be a bit misleading. Many Hillworth boys will attest to that."

"Weird... I know." He was leaning on the empty machine beside where Marlo was working out.
He paused, "Friend..." He said stomach pitching again. He sighed, "We went to school together for a while." He said, "Fancy boarding schools." He paused looking around, "Unfortunately, that one wasn't what it was suppose to be."
He shrugged, "Apparently, regulations are something they take seriously enough that if they're not followed you close the school down and call everyone skunked."
He paused, "Yeah women can be." His eyes were scanning around the room. "At least the smart ones."

Marlo's eyes were not on the TV screens in front of the rows of treadmills, but on the legal busty girl in front on him. Such a nice view. Not that he was looking at her. He was definitely looking at the screens. Definitely. "Mhmm..."
Realizing he'd been staring, he turned to Azzo and smiled. "Oh, what I mean is, its nice you're still in contact yes? At least the two of you have not drifted apart." Looking back at the girl, he leaned over, "Is is just me, or does she look like an E cup?" This was spoken is a hushed manner.

Azzo's eyes had landed on one in particular screen for the second watching it curiously. One of the commercials had caught his eye, however it didn't last two long.
Azzo blinked when Marlo asked what size the girl looked to be. Azzo's eyes having darted over to her with a brow lofted wondering who in the world would ever try to guess that. Well unless you got some sort of prize for it at the fair.
"Uh..." He said softly, also wondering how Marlo could tell. "I... guess." Maybe this was something 'normal' guys did. He chuckled slightly nervous, still kind of quite though. "I er... never really figured out how you tell just by... looking." He said in the same hushed manner.

"Practice...and some experimentation" Marlo didn't really elaborate beyond that. It was probably for the best considering. "I take it back. Double Ds." Why he was sharing the information, one could only guess. "Back to the original topic, of this Melody girl, you sound like you're in the dreaded friend zone. Its never a fun place to be. Why not just ask her out? Or is she already spoken for?"
"And I think I might take kickboxing. It sounds somewhat more useful then the underwater aerobics class."

Azzo nodded, "Huh I'll have to remember that." He said softly, glancing back at the chick. Brow still lofted before shaking his head and turning back at Marlo. "Perhaps going to the beach would be beneficial. In practice terms."
He was musing over the concept, most of what he could remember he was always far more interested in his grandfather's hypnosis wanting to learn it himself. However for more practical reasons than parlor tricks.
When Marlo spoke of Azzo asking Melody out his left eye gave a slight twitch. And he rubbed his temple thinking, "Well... no, she's not taken that I know of... but see there's a different type of problem..." He muttered softly, "Every time I get around her I feel like something's bad's going to happen..."
His eyes wondered out a window, glossed over with a remorseful look. "I just wish I knew why... I think..." He paused, "It might have something to do with my broken ribs though..."
He paused, and nodded, "Oh, well then. I'll have someone that'll take it easy on me until we're sure my ribs won't break again." He said in a joking tone. A grin flashed as he seemingly tried to recover from the melancholy stupor the thoughts and lack of memories of the awful Barren Pines brought.
