AIM LOG: Chobi_Chocobo & _ p a o cx Honap was a traveling minstral of sorts, even his steps had a sort of music to them as he went along. The cheetah was in a world of his own, some might say. His companion, a wild dog who referred to him self as a leopard, had the same airs about him. The two couldnt have been a better match.
Through the grass he weaved, it was almost like he had practiced like a dance. The cheetahs feet just knew where to go almost instantly. Honap didnt seem to notice as he hmmed some made up tune in his head. Yup, he had no aim or goal. He just was. Thats all that mattered.Joka stared up at the tree and its inhabitants - noisy inhabitants. "C'mon!" he yelled up at the black-winged birds perched high on the tree's branches. "Just...shut up! Crowing and crowing, it's all you do!" He smacked the trunk of the tree with his tail, though not too hard. The last time he did that he actually drew blood. Not a lot but...it was blood caused by a tree. Not one of his greatest moments.
"Stupid, loud, noisy, EVIL things with beaks and creepy, beady little eyes. WHO THE HELL THOUGHT YOU THINGS INTO EXISTENCE!?!?!" He was a grouchy thing without his noon naps.....Cawing and yelling caught the males attention. It disrupted his groove, the cheetah frowned. Only one thing to do, see the cause of this distasteful sound truck. The cheetah did just that, weaving through the grass, until, he saw the cheetah and the bird.
"So you're the cause," The cheeetah frowned, "Dontcha know the crows just trying to sing. Let him have his song baby." The cheetah made his way out of the grass, "You just gotta play it cool like and listen."Jo turned to see who it was that suggested letting the birds be, surprised that whoever it was didn't mind the cacophony that was the crow's voice. "Cause of what?" he asked, clearly irate. "That thing up there ruined my nap, in case you hadn't noticed. I was just here minding my own business when that buzzard perched on this tree and started making that horrible noise. I haven't been able to sleep a wink since."
He turned his attention back to the crow, which for some reason suddenly stopped crowing and was now simply staring back down at him. Jo narrowed his eyes at it, a low growl escaping him. "Hes just doin his thing," The cheetah shrugged, "Your nappin cant stop the power of song my friend. No nap is that powerful." The blue cheetah took a few steps closer and eyed the crow. "Oh now, looks like he likes you. Let him sing his song maybe he'll let you nap," Honap gave the other a reassuring smile.

The cheetah looked at the other, a little confused. Glancing back up at the crow, he decided to give it one last attempt. "Shoo!" he yelled, and with one last crow the bird went off. A big smile spread itself across the cheetah's maw, and satisfied with the departing of the evil bird he turned to the blue cheetah. "Well, that's that then," he said happily.
"I'm Joka, Jo for short. Who are you supposed to be?"
The blue cheetah shook his head, so the bird was gone and so was its song that was to be sung. There was no use trying to explain this to the cheetah though. "Jo for short, nice to meet you. Im Honap."
The blue cheetah stared at the branch that the bird had been in moments ago and glanced back down at Jo. There wasnt much more to say now that the bird was gone. This cheetah seemed to have made up his mind. After all it had interrupted his nap. Honap couldnt help but smile more at that thought.
"Honap, very cool," he said as he lay back down. "Well what makes you so accepting of that sound?" There...really wasn't much else to talk about now. Earlier it seemed that the blue cheetah had only crossed paths with him because of the crow, and now that it was gone there was no real reason they had to talk.
"I find I always try to avoid them, usually I'm successful. That one snuck up on me."
"Aviod the crow?" Honap smiled. "Why would you want to avoid the crow? Dontcha know thats bad luck?" Okay now he was just kidding and jerking the others leg. "Seriously though, I find that everything has its own song. You just gotta listen to it and listen for it." That was all he was gonna say. Anything else would have made him sound like some kind of p***y. Honap didn't want that. Nope.
"Bad luck?" he asked, looking a little confused. Giving it a bit of thought, though, Jo nodded slightly. "Yeah, I can see that." The male chuckled and shrugged. "Oh well," he started replying to the comment on everything having a song. "If that's the crow's song I'd really rather not ever have to hear it."

The other male nodded, "If thats what you want," He laughed a bit, it came out as a chain of chirps. "I cant... I JUST CANT!" He chirped happily, " They don't cause bad luck! " He chirped some more. The other had believed him! Oh my this was rich. Honap chirped some more.
Jo stared at the other, once more confused. After catching on, however, the male couldn't help but join the other's amusement with a chuckle of his own. "Well lately I've been having some bad luck. I just connected the dots, so you can't blame me for believing you." The male was still smirking as he explained himself.
The blue male chirped harder as the other joined in, this was fun. Honap loved a good laugh it was just good for the heart. "Have you?" He said after he had chirped his little heart out, "Bad luck you say? Why don't cha try licking a lucky stone. That is sure to get rid of that," Yeah he was gonna try it again the little s**t head.
Jo shook his head, though with a smile. "Now that, I know, isn't true." The cheetah gestured for the other to have a seat, comfortable enough around him after having a good laugh only moments ago. "I wish it were that easy to fix one's problems though, you know what I mean?"
The cheetah had to chuckle, it seemed to good to be true that hed fall for that one. Ah well couldnt blame a cheetah for trying could ya? Maybe. "Yeah would be nice if there were some easy fixes in life. " The cheetah sighed some looking a little more serious then one really should, "But guess thats how it is huh? Why I sing ." The cheetah gave the other a goofy smile.
"Yeah.. well, we all deal in our own ways," he replied. "You sing, I yell at and avoid crows because they sing." Jo gave a nod, somewhat satisfied with his own way of dealing. "Right, so with that I think I'm ready to take that nap now. You're welcome to sing nearby, if you were planning on resting or something." He offered the other one last smile before lowering his head and closing his eyes, ready for sleep.
The cheetah smiled, he'd been told. "Alright, I'll go, you nap." The cheetah got up and disappeared into the tall grass, humming to him self. Jo seemed like a smart enough guy after all. He hadn't licked the rock.
