Alright, so it was time to spread himself out a little. As much as he adored being with his mate, and how he already knew a few members of the pride, it would be smarter to branch out and meet a couple new more faces. The pride was decently sized (says someone born and raised in the large Pridelands), and it was pretty pitiful that he could count those he knew on one paw still.
But, where to go? Well, that wasn't too hard. There was a big central area, something of a courtyard, to hang out in and meet other members of the pride when they weren't busy with their duties.
Who to talk to and what to say? Well, that was a whole different story. It wasn't that he wasn't socialized well, it was just, well, not that easy when you were standing around awkwardly on your own.

Feleji was over joyed. He had recently found out that his mate was with cubs and he couldn't be more then thrilled to be a father second time about. Except this time he would raise his family right. Now that he had the time anyway. And being a Nanny made him extra blessed, since that ment he could spend 100% of his time with his new cubs. Only problem for him was where to find a priest to bless the new litter? That was what he had to do wasn't it?
He left Val's side promising to be back as quick as he could. He wanted to make sure he was prepared and from the second the cubs touched sand that they would have the perfect lives. And even with as little schooling in the pride he knew that without a priest's blessing they couldn't grow properly.
He saw the yellowish brown lion up ahead glad to finally meet somebody outside of his classes. He stopped running, as he didn't want to look 'mad' and walked over to him slowly; washing the concern off his face.
"I'm Feleji. I'm new around here- you wouldn't know where I could find a priest?"

Woah. That was easy!
His ears perked forward at the approaching male, one that had a hint of apprehension on his face. Raha wasn't sure if it was real or not; he'd be a little nervous approaching someone he had never spoken to before.
Thankfully, though, he knew just what this male was looking for!
"Actually, I do!" he chirped up, remembering one of his first encounters in the pride. A lovely Guardian-to-be, and a Priest in training at the temple.
"There's a lovely male that would just be thrilled to help you out," he said. "Erm...what was his name again? Oh, yeah, Peribsen! I know he's training in the temple, though I'm not totally certain if he's there at this exact moment."

He heaved a large sigh of relief at the other's wealth of knowledge. It would certainly save him hours of searching the temples- and keep him out of the area commoners weren't supposed to go. He knew something about the general area regarding those 'special' things- but far to little to keep him out of trouble. He didn't want to have to tell Val that he had gotten them booted from the pride; oh how angry and displeased she would be- and with babies too. Feleji didn't want to stress her out any more then he had too.
"Oh my that's WONDERFUL!" He'd seek him out as soon as his conversation was done. He didn't want to seam rude; and he knew that he had enough time to have a pleasant conversation before the cubs even thought about popping out.
"I'm so sorry." He dipped his head. "Second litter with my Val. Having cubs always makes me abit nervous." He chortled.

Raha smiled and offered a nod in welcome for his offering of helpful information. He was grateful that he was able to help; he wasn't always the one with the knowledge or experience to help often. It made him feel good.
"You're welcome," he replied. He felt quite enthused from the other male's energy.
The next topic of discussion made him a little uncomfortable. If only because he didn't have any experience with that himself, and thus didn't know how to reply.
"Um, Congratulations! That must be exciting, and the second time around!" Hah, he felt so nervous talking about it. Was that because Fatia was starting to hint at the idea? He still felt so young himself, only newly starting his life on his own. Well, not totally on his own, but away from his homelands and family. It all seemed to happen so quickly, but they did say that time flew on birds' wings the older one got.
"I'm certain that the priests will be excited to hear about the coming arrival of children." It always seemed like they grew up so fast, and he had to admit that it was always nice watching children romp around and play without a care in the world, since he was there himself at one point in his life, a while ago.

Feleji just continued to beam thinking over the cubs he was about to have. His first litter didn't go right at all. His son thought he was a demon. And his daughters mated as soon as they were humanly possible. Not that he didn't mind being a grandfather. But none of them even came back to show him his grand kids. The only one he had left was Shani. It was a bittersweet feeling all together. He loved his daughter with all his heart. But he really wished his other kids had turned out as normal as she was.
This second litter was like a redemption for him and his mate Val. He would be able to raise them right and with luck they too would stay around the DW. He'd like to grow old with his cubs.
"So." Feleji paused quite curious. "Do you have children?" Maybe he'd be able to find some playmates for his future litter.

O-oh. Um. Wow, this was something that he wasn't really expecting, but then he probably should have. Raha wasn't quite ready for kids, and he was definintly getting an earful about it from Fatia. He was more worried about her and how it would affect her. And well, he did worry about how they would feel about him. He couldn't help it.
Raha being silent was a little apparent of what his answer would be before he spoke. Still, he knew he needed to be polite, and being quiet was rude.
"Nah, I don't have any kids yet," he said. "I know my mate wants them, but...well....I don't know if we're quite ready yet." Would he ever know, though?

Feleji nodded understanding quite well. He was rather 'old' in lion terms when it had come to having his first litter. Val his mate was so young compared to him and she was ready to have her first litter right away.
"Don't push it if your not ready." He said wise and elderly. "I love all of my children, but they are a great responsibility. And I admit. I miss being a young bachelor myself."
He took a long sigh and gazed longingly at something only he could see in the distance.
"But then again. I wouldn't trade any of them for the world...even my demon of a son Roth." The scowl was apparent on his face. But it wasn't anything as bad as when Val's thoughts on Roth were.
He changed the topic quickly not wishing to dwell on Roth. "Well if you do have any in time. My children would be honored to play with yours."

Raha's ear twitched, thinking about being a 'bachelor'. Perhaps he'd think like that after his first kids, but at the moment he couldn't think about not being with Fatia. But he also couldn't really imagine kids, either. Ugh, what a headache!
Pushing all the round-about thinking that would probably only get him dizzy away, he listening intently, pleased with the offer. "I'm sure they'll get to know one another through classes," he laughed. "And hopefully even pick up a little competitive rivalry. Nothing seems to work better than wanting to be better than someone else. Friendly, of course," he joked, wondering if any of his kids would be like that. Since, well, that trait had skipped him, as his mother was always a little....interesting. On the competitive side of things.

Classes...oh yes he still needed to finish his! He made a mental note to do that BEFORE he began going to school with his own cubs. How embarrassing that would be for both of them.
"That would be delightful! I'd like my cubs to you know be competitive."
He seamed to have the same problem as the other male seeing that skipped far over him as well. If they were going to inherit that trait from anyone it would have been Val. After all HE was the nanny and she was the hunter. Not that he was embarrassed by the fact. He loved his job and he loved little cubs- more so then having to take a life every day to feed himself. The thought just made him quease a tiny bit.

Raha grinned, and he could feel himself relax a little more. Good, things would go well for this somehwat-but-not planned litter of his. At least they certainly wouldn't be the only ones around. In fact, they'd just be one of many!
"I'm certain they will, especially with how many cubs are bouncing around nowadays. They've got to make themselves stick out a bit, and that's usually the best way," he said with a laugh. He used to be when he was younger, but now a days it was just to get his job done and spend time relaxing with his mate.
"I'm certain I'll see you down around where the kids are kept during the day; I usually go there now to pick up my mate, as she's training to be a nanny right now," he grinned again.

Feleji perked rather excited. "I'm training to be a nanny myself." Again he rather wondered what the other male would think of a male nanny but he didn't mind or care. "I just love cubs." He added on quickly to his last statement. "You can just never have enough of them around at once." And short of cub napping- which had crossed his mind more then once, this would be the safe alternative. At least nobody could kick him out of the pride for babysitting.

Raha nodded, "I understand," he said. He should, since he was a little nervous around cubs. They were adorable, but seemed much too fragile to him. Mind, he had gotten himself into quite a bit of trouble as a cub, but which one didn't? There was a world to explore, and always enough bumps and scrapes would teach you to not be so reckless the next time.
He forgot about a lot of that when watching cubs run around, though.
"You're much braver than me," he laughed. "It'll be a good balance, though, to have a male nanny as well."
His ears flicked upwards, glancing at the sun above him. "Oh, shoot, it looks like I need to go check in on my mate. I'm sure I'll see you there a lot, since you work together. It was great meeting you!"
He offered a small bow of respect, and trotted off to Fatia, the thought of cubs still swirling around in his mind.
