The Brotherhood is a roleplay required pack, in that for your wolf to receive his cloak, you need to participate in one or more roleplays. Once you've completed that roleplay, your wolf will never lose his cloak OOC -- obviously we're not going to take the art away from you! However, we do strongly encourage participation in regular, large group, pack meeting roleplays, even if it's one or two quick posts. Do not fear -- your wolf will never be kicked out of the pack without your consent.
Ranked wolves are roleplay required and can be demoted if their roleplay duties are not fulfilled.

Roleplay Requirements -- Betas and Masters
There are two betas in this pack, as well as a thiefmaster, a huntingmaster, and a warmaster. All of these positions are roleplay required. If you want your wolf to obtain one of these positions, the rank must first be open. You will then need to apply in this thread. Your RP activity within the pack will be checked. There is no specific number of RPs you must have completed, however, it will be best if your wolf was present at all pack meetings as well as having some outside RP.
You will then be required to go through one or two roleplays to obtain the position. The alpha will first give your wolf a task to be completed to prove his worthiness. Depending on the task, this might be completed in a back-and-forth roleplay, or in a self-roleplay, storytelling manner. Then there will be another roleplay in which your wolf is recognized by the pack and the other ranked wolves as having obtained his rank.
After having obtained a rank, the ranked wolves must post in all pack-wide roleplays. Ranked wolves must also have three RP posts outside of those roleplays every month. If you cannot find an opportunity to get in this posts (maybe you're RPing with someone but their responses are slow, or you can't find anyone to RP with), you may post a log in the log thread of what your wolf has been up to. This log must be at least 550 words long. It can be written in a storytelling manner, in the usual third-person tense, like an SRP; or it can be written in the first person, as though your wolf is reporting to the alpha.
If you are going on hiatus and are unable to complete these roleplays, you will have to inform Milorganite or at least announce your hiatus in your signature or Gaia profile.
If your hiatus is going to be extremely long (6+ months), or you fail to meet the RP requirements for three months straight and have no hiatus announcement, your wolf will be under consideration for demotion. Your wolf will not be suddenly demoted and I will contact you before making a decision, but it's best if you simply keep active and that's a conversation we don't have to have.

Roleplay Requirements -- Those Applying With Adult Wolves
To apply with an adult wolf, you will need to complete one joining RP with the alpha or one of the betas. Your wolf can be turned down in this procedure. If you don't want that to happen, check with Milorganite before applying -- she'll tell you if the Brotherhood will find him acceptable or not. (But being turned down can lead to other RP opportunities, too.) Once your wolf has received his cloak, it is highly encouraged that you at least participate in pack-wide roleplays, but not necessary.
If you are applying as an omega, when a pup needs to be stolen, Milorganite or the owner of the thiefmaster may message you asking if you'd like to be part of the pup-napping RP. You are free to turn down these invitations.

Roleplay Requirements -- Those Applying With Pups
To apply with a puppy, you will need to complete at least two roleplays. One roleplay will be your pup-napping roleplay, which will consist of at least your puppy and one omega from the Shadow Clan. (Other family members are invited to participate, and there may be multiple Brothers coming for you pup.) You will also need to complete one RP of your adolescent wolf being trained for his position in the pack. If you do not complete these roleplays, your wolf will not be grown with the Brotherhood cloak.
