The 360 Is coming out with so many things this year, I dont know if I even need a PS3. Project natal is still blowing my mind, FFXIII is going to be on both systems, Halo reach looks like it might be pretty awesome. Not to mention Fable 3! And more to come after THAT! I myself have been a playstation junkie since the original, but they are really going under with all the new stuff 360 has to offer. PICK IT UP PS3!!

The PS3 still has better games. I guess the 360 is only doing these things because it needs to keep up with the PS3.

PS3 Games are starting to lean towards the sequeal type games to stay alive. For instance, I love the ratchet and clanks, but they are not popular enough to make people buy a PS over a 360.

I've known a few people who said they'll buy a PS3 for God of War. Besides, what does 360 have that's so popular, that the PS3 doesn't? All your Fallout, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, it's for both systems. I doubt Project Natal is gonna sell 360's. And when it comes to Halo Reach, well, I guarantee you that it won't either. Everyone who loves Halo enough to buy a 360 for it, already has, because of Halo 3. Besides, Halo Reach, Fable 3 are sequels too, so I'm pretty sure that it's the 360 that's reaching for sequels to stay alive. There's no console war anymore, the PS3 is doing well enough to stay alive. It's not like any one console is gonna bury another one anymore. The PS3 is here to stay, so is the 360, so is the Wii.

You are noting those very well known games. Most people will buy games that seem to be popular, but others go for the gameplay. I for one side towards the PS3 (I have both) as the online community is much friendlier and not as competitive as Xbox's and games for PS3 like MAG, Killzone 2, and Demon's Souls keep me on PS3 and as for new releases such as White Knight Chronicles and Resonance of Fate are not known that well, which is why I think that you think PS3 seems to be lagging a little. =P

As for the sequel thing, you make a good point, but all the good games that you mentiond for the ps3 are part of sequels, so thanks for proving my point xp

As for the sequel thing, you make a good point, but all the good games that you mentiond for the ps3 are part of sequels, so thanks for proving my point xp I doubt it will. I'm not saying Natal won't be awesome. I just don't think people will go, "Did you see this Natal thing!? Let's go buy a 360 just for it!" At least not anymore than someone will say, "PS3 has motion controls now! Let's buy it for that!" And yeah, I was making a comparison with the sequels. But even if I didn't like Metal Gear Solid, or Ratchet and Clank or Uncharter or whatever... If I didn't have a PS3 right now, I'd buy it just for Heavy Rain, so that's at least one awesome original title that's coming out on the PS3 this year. I say it's still holding its own pretty well this year, with what we have coming to us. I mean, most of the really promising games will be multiplatform, such as Alpha Protocol, FFXIII, Fallout New Vegas, etc. So that's neither here nor there. But I'm sure the PS3 will do just fine this year.

They just need a little more game companies to trust them more and they will do just amazing biggrin

Well, after Dragon Age, Bioware said that now that they're more confident with PS3's hardware, and know how to use it well enough, they'll be dedicating more time to the PS3 than before. Heck, we might even see an exclusive.

Little Big Planet, Uncharted and inFamous are 3 exceedingly good games that are worth buying a PS3 for. I'm not interested in any of the XBOX360 only games. They're targeted towards people who like Halo..shoot-em-ups...and those stupid singing games.
Besides, the PS3 has a blu-ray player....and blu-ray players on their own are expensive, so you might as well pay that bit extra to get a blu-ray player in your games machine.
Also, I think more people own XBOX360s than PS3s, because xbox seem to have a few more family friendly games and they're cheaper...so perhaps that's why the xbox games seem more popular..because more people have xboxs. I'd rather buy a console with brilliant games rather than "popular" games anyday.

But you get what you pay for.

i own a ps3 but i dident buy it for any specific game. i got it becuse i could play my old games on it. and becuse i just like playstation.
i dont own a xbox for many reasons 1. i hate the controllers there meant 4 people with big hands, which i am not.
2. not buying a system which every game i want almost is on my ps3 already.
3. internts free on ps3.

Same here. I don't like the XBOX360 consoles..I just don't like how the buttons are placed. The playstation controller seems much easier to handle. And like I said earlier, there aren't any games I want that aren't on my PS3. and it's got a blu-ray player. So overall I think it's a better console, for me anyway.
