I have recently had a dream after watching the film adaptation of League of Exraordinary Gentleman. It was something of a similar ideas. A select set of Victorian-Era characters of fiction banding together to form a group of crimefighters/mercenaries that save their world on constant basis. I envisioned this in a Steampunk-esque world, like that of LXG or Stephen Sommers Van Helsing. I'm thinking of this being either a short story for Deviantart or an RP here on Gaia.

Also, I'm providing a list of characters that may appear in either incarnation of the idea. I'm up to suggestions, too. Some of the characters maybe changed in name to add uniqueness to the story.

short story definatly. the only RP's that ever seem to conclude/stay in control generally involve gay/lesbian/bi vampires and slaves, or furries...

besides, short story means we get the story in one chunk (not EVERYONE wants to scroll through twenty pages of comments to read the whole damned thing), and it stays in one style, the author's style, instead of being "and then lord vanquin stated with a positively spiffing attitude..." to "LOL, i fiyah lazors from my handz!!!"
