Quote: "A place for everything and everything in its--HEY, PUT THAT BACK!"
Extra: Cypress is the makings of a picture-perfect housewife, which she'd be totally okay with, being her peaceful, grounded, slightly-OCD-self. Unfortunately, Cypress was the one to inherit her family's weapon form. Even more unfortunately, she's both a melee weapon and a pipe, which clash horribly with her prim-and-proper attitude. She tries to maintain the model student image she had before coming to Shibusen, but it becomes increasingly harder every day. It's only a matter of time before she snaps and accepts her role as a Demon Weapon, but until then, she'll begrudgingly attend Shibusen and cling desperately to her pride as a "normal" member of society.
HISTORY
Birthplace/Home Town: Fall River, Massachusetts
Birthday: May 7th
Family: Both parents, an older brother and a younger sister
Partner: Wilhelmina Grady
Life's Story:
There's no elaborate story regarding Cypress's first transformation into a tomahawk. Like most events in her life, it was pretty normal. One day she was tending to her parent's small grocery store and a jar of something fell off a shelf, the next thing she knew, instead of catching the jar, it had been cleaved in half and pieces of glass had shattered all over the floor for her to pick up. And her hand was an ax head.
She was less than enthused, but her brother and parents were absolutely ecstatic. It had been a long time since someone in their family had been "blessed" with the weapon gene and they almost immediately began filling out the paperwork to ship Cypress off to Shibusen, much to her chagrin. She was planning on tearing the papers into itty-bitty pieces with her new-found powers until her younger sister (who was often far more mature than their older brother) mentioned that Cypress, while a good student, didn't seem to have much direction in her life and that their family only wanted what was best for her.
Touched by her sister's surprising insight and maturity, Cypress decided to at least give the Death Weapon Meister Academy a try. She hated it.
She still hates it, but seeing the enthusiasm her family has for her, it really puts a damper on every attempt she's had at pleading for them to take her back. Also they've stopped taking her phone calls.
