Name: Lemel
Age: Twenty turns
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Craft: Weavercraft
Rank: Apprentice, Candidate

History: Lemel has lived what he would call a 'regretfully bland childhood'. HIs father and mother were both journeymen weavers when they had him, and a younger sibling came along two Turns later. The two got along with the normal sibling fights, and nothing tragic ever befell the family. When it came time to take up his parents' profession, Lemel was more than glad. Textiles and weaving intrigued him, as did the idea of fashioning clothes for high born men and women. He never quite got to be that good, but he was well on the way to becoming at least proficient in his craft, and maybe moving up a rank within the next few Turns. Lemel seemed the most surprised in his family when he was Searched to Telgar. He was initially hesitant to leave the comfort of the life he knew, saying that his craft could not suffer to lose a single apprentice. His mother and father rightly pointed out that the Weyrs had suffered greater losses, and coupled with an honest desire to be a dragonrider, Lemel took the faithful leap. He managed to vomit gloriously his first flight on dragon back.

Appearance: Lemel is a rather non-descript young man, though he's a bit on the tall and lanky side. It's not anything excessive- it just looks like Lemel has a bit more filling out to do, which is probably true. His skin is quite tan, or at least gives the appearance of being so. Both his hair and his eyes are brown, nothing altogether stunning. His hair does have faint red highlights, and if Lemel could figure out how, he would bring them out more, for vanity's sake. His muscles are small, but visible if he flexes, and while Lemel would rather have greater muscle mass, he doesn't seem willing to do the work required. His fingers show the callouses that his work builds up, for all that they are deft and rather fine.

Personality: Lemel is prone to laziness, moments of sheer stupidity, and outright flamboyance, but for all that, he's not a bad fellow. It takes some prodding to get him to do anything, and Lemel is reluctant to ever seize control in a serious situation. He's a bit of a hypochondriac (which should make the plague rumors interesting), and not the brightest bulb in the bush. For all that though, he's not a bad sort. He can be a loyal friend, and even if he requires prodding, he will eventually get his duties done. Oh, he'll complain mightily, and maybe try to make passes at his taskmaster to try and get off the work, but once he gets into the rhythm he quits acting like such a whiny brat. Lemel is also a bit of a late bloomer- he's just discovering his own sexuality, and doing so with a great degree of passion. He knows not to do so in the weyr, but he's heard the perks of dragon sex are great...
