Are any of you subscribers to a magazine that covers weight loss, healthy living, nutrition, exercise or all of the above?
I personally have two free subs at the moment: one to SHAPE and one to SELF. I prefer SELF because the waifish models and the hollywood prices are left out. I like something realistic and for some reason, SHAPE doesn't make me feel better about myself at all. I've just recently joined SELF's website and am really interested in the extra exercise plans they have there in addition to the ones in the magazines.

My Mum and I share Health. It's not bad and the models aren't too silly looking. Their concept of an 'easy recipe' is not even close to mine though, so I don't get much use out of their food choices.

I am subscribed to Weight Watchers Magazine. It has good recipes for me and provides nutritional information in case you're not doing Weight Watcher points so anyone can do them. My only criticism is that it seems based towards an older age group, which I guess is their main demographic, but it would be nice to see someone not in their 30's to 50's. I mean they have college age people in there occasionally, but I don't really read for the inspiration "How I overcame my hectic life of kids and work and remembered me" stories, I read more for recipes.
