Acutally, I voted "Valentines day is a lie" because it totally is. It's a really pathetic holiday anymore..
And I'm not sure if mine will be lovely, because Sam has to go to a fancy dinner party for a rich church, and I'm going. I'm scared gonk But I will get to go out to dinner with him the night after.. but still, I'm scared.
This will be my first Valentines day with someone, and I'm not as excited at the concept as I thought I would be. I'm just excited for the date, but we could go on a date any time, so it's like, idk.
Valentines day is over rated.

AND! I had someone for a year or two, but meh, again. V-day is a joke XDD! I just kind of ignore it. I answered the histerically laughing part because . . . laughing is good for joo! *eets chocolate* OMnomHNOMmmm That's all it's good for. ;D
Edit: Oh, I glanced at the face for the post above and I was all "Yay, someone is online!" but it was my own avi. *fail*

yeah. well, i don't really care about having someone on valentine's day specifically, but just someone in general. all year-round. it's just a little annoying 'cause it's liek, "I LOOOOOOUVE YOU" everywhere. like, stfu. talk2hand no one else wants to hear 'bout your "undying love". there's too much smothering of the love.
kitkat: ahaha, that's hilarious. it's all right. i'm a fail as well. [:

I have to say, I love how unromantic this guild is. =D
All of those punks can have their pretend fairy-tail love, but we've got thought, which is pwnage anyday compared to their totally fakeness =o
I remembered my new nickname!
Also, a spouse is the only relative we get to choose, and we almost always choose wrongly. Funny, non? XDD!

What's pathetic about it?
If we've got days to be solemn, why can't we have days to love?

I don't think it's pathetic, i just don't care about it. i mean, i still have to do a presentation about Saint Valentine, but it's just a regular ole feast day to me.
XCEPT i effing love St. Joan of Arc. her feast day is a littul bit after my b'day, and that makes me so proud. :3 [[say sumthin. i hate my catholic skool]]

Valentines day is pathetic because it has lost its true meaning, people used to actually hand write love letters to each other, now you just buy mass printed cheesey cards from Halmark. Red roses used to mean something, but now they are expected. Chocolate used to be something sweet and thoughtful, but now it's expected to come in cheesey heart shaped boxes. Then theres all those stupid balloons and stuffed animals, all the items gaia comes out with for the big day- and thats the day that the most break ups happen on because of all the pressure! It's no wonder when all the girls expect the best when really it's just another day, and it's not going to be as amazing as they expect it to be, no matter what. Then all the fancy underwear that places like Victoria's Secret and Hot Topic sells, they make money off of the sex factor- it's sopposed to be a day about love, not sex.
Srsly.

If it's lost its meaning, give it new meaning.
I don't really know what to be called anymore either. Whatever you like, I'll still respond to Centronias, but you can call me CD, Captain, Dastardly, Cap'n Dee...

@ Idiosyncratic Solar: Ooooh, I'll be your Valentine <3
As for Valentine's day, my personal belief is that it's just a made up holiday by big gift card company's like 'Hallmark' based off of over-exaggerated stories that have no relevance or morales to share. I mean, sure holidays like Christmas and such are considered to consumer based for most, but it is based off the date birth of Christ and actually teaches kid's about generosity.
But Valentine's day is a day where it makes people who are single feel like losers and those that do have dates feel obligated to get their loved one a gift for a inconsequential holiday and that causes stress. I am saying this as a general statement, so I maybe wrong, but it is my opinion once again.
So screw you Halmark, I'm going to go to the gym and try to get ripped on Valentine's so I actually make use of such wasted time to get in shape for upcoming sports or even write that book I planned...
