Today Natalya was on a ninja mission. That's right - a super, uber secret mission. One that could go horrid at any moment. Even right now if she made a slip it would all be over, good thing she had the patience to move slowly. The child pressed herself against the apartment wall and inched closer to the goal. Just one more step and there! Now she could turn the doorknob-
"Tally-" On noes! She was caught! Guiltily Tally looked up at the towering form of the enemy. It was decision time...
"You see nothing!" Tally squeaked as she pulled herself through the door and started running down the hallway. She wasn't done for yet! Victory shone in her eyes as she dashed down the stairs and out of the building. Hah!
A very amused Sabra watched as her child ran towards the beach. "I was going to say, want me to pack a picnic and go with you?" She laughed and shook her head. The young woman would catch up to the spawn in a bit with food that she knew would be highly appreciated.

Tally giggled happily as she walked on the beach. Already she was having fun and she hadn't even hit the waters yet!

Yet again Mariii sneaks out of the house but he at least left a note telling his mother that he went to the beach to have some fun. He had never been to the beach and was told about them about his oldest brother and how fun they could be and he wanted on some of that action and Drez had even told him how to get there from there house.
Running on all fours it didn't take Marii all that long to find the beach, well except for those few wrong turns as when he got close enough and just followed the smell. Once a the edge of the beach he stopped to take in the sight of it all and to see if there were any good pounceing places. Seeing none right now he carefully walked onto the beach and found the sand weard feeling on his hands and feet but a very cool in the long run. But once he saw the water he was excited and started to run still on all fours and not watching were he was going. Seconds later he ran right into the other spawn walking on the beach and Marii and found out that it was hard to stop running in the sand. "I sorry about that," he said.

Tally was so absorbed in watching gulls fly over the ocean that she never even saw it coming. But boy did she feel it afterward. "Umph!" Tally found herself falling face first into the sand. She was spitting sand out of her mouth and trying to fix her bangs from her face when she heard the voice.
"It's otay." Tally spit out the last of the sand, "I wasn't payin' attention anyways. Are you otay?" Finally she shook the last from her face and blinked huge eyes up at Marii. Shock and awe flashed over her features as she took in him. Her antenna flashed bright purple in confusion as she scooted back, "You-You!" She cried as she stared at him - he was kinda like her. He had an antenna too!

Getting up on on two legs to see of he could help her up from him nocking her down. " I bes ok again I sorry," he said as he then sat sorta like a dog would as he knew he was large and knew that some people didn't like to look up to those they were talking with.
Marii cocked his head to the side as he saw her own lure glow and he smiled and giggled sligtly as he looked her over and saw that she looked sorta like he did and he even let his own lure glow for a little before it stopped. "You has a lure like me," he stated looking her over some more and found more simmularities to each other. He wanted to get a close look but was being polite in letting Tally have her personal space and his tail wagging behind him as he was excited as he hadn't met anyone that sorta looking like him except for Torekane. "Its very cools that you have a lure too, I be Marii," he said with a huge grin on his face and his tongue then letting his tongue hanging out the side of his mouth.

Tally knew that she was short - and so by now was used to looking up at others. It was no biggie to her, but she did admit that her look alike was definitely tall compared to the other children she had played with. Her antenna kept flashing happily and Tally let the thing swing in and out of her vision.
"Lure? Antenna thingy!" Tally nodded happily. "Same color too." Her grin showed off fangs as she turned sideways and showed off her tail, "I has a tail toos."
"Marii!" Natalya giggled, showing how she had a blue tongue as well. "I'm Natalya - Tally for shore." She was nearly bouncing on her toes with excitement, "Does you swim underwater too?" That would be amazing! So far she didn't know of anyone who could just dive underwater and not resurface for hours like she could.

Marii had to fight down the earge to want to pat at her lure as it was just a cool as his as he move his around sorta snake like. "Yep the antenna thingy and yes they are. I use mine to lure people over to my hiding spot to were I can pounce them as I love doing that," he said and looked around to see her tail but it was a little different than his but still sorta the same. "Cools," he commented as he stopped waging it to were she could see it properly. "I have other lures on the end of my tail with some fins," he said.
"Well its nice to meet you to, Tally," he said as he giggled over the fact that she had a blue tongue like he did and had to think for a second and then spotted that she did have gills. "No I can't. I don't even know how to swim yet," he said looking down at the ground as it would be cool to do that.

Tally frowned thoughtfully. Luring people in so he could pounce them? The child vaguely remembered watching some t.v. with Sabra that concerned animals and fish that did that. Such a scene she watched with great patience though when the pouncing did occur the spawn nearly screamed each time. It looked like Marii did it for fun though and Tally let out a relieved sigh. "Cool!" She looked at the other lures and grinned, "My tail's not like that!"
"You-you don't swim?" Disappointment flickered in Tally's gaze before she smiled again. "Well that's okay. Sabra says not everyone has to swim to go through life." She shook her head though, "But I loves it!"
"Would Marii want to learn?" Tally suddenly asked her face brightening with the idea. "I's an amazin swimmer!"

"But you has some cool finning on your tail in a pretty color," he said it was one of the colors he liked. Marii frowned as it was true he didn't, its not that he was afrade of the water its just he had never tried to.
Marii just nodded. "But I do find listening to water soothing and cool," he said as he always loved hearing the water when it rained on his house and when it fell into the pool too.
"Yes I would," he quickly replied with his tail wagging fast behind him as he was excited. "That's cool!"

"Aww...thanks." Tally flushed at the compliment happily. She did like the greenish blue color of her wings and tail. It was pretty, nothing rainbowy like her angel daddy but still pretty to her.
"Yeah, yeah! Water is pretty relaxin'." Tally nodded, "I come out here all the time to just relax by the waves. Though - " She giggled, "sometimes the waves have to wake me up with a big splash!"
"Great!" Natalya grinned eagerly, "Let's head to a shallow pool and get started then, Marii!" She started walking across the sands to a more deserted place that way they could have plenty of swimming room.

"Your welcome," he replied with a smile as he did like how she looked but he just loved that he very muchly looked like Torekane.
"Cool, well this is my first time comming here. Most of the time I listen to it hitting the pool or on the house when it rains," he said as he listened to the waves.
"Ok, sounds like a plan," he answered as he followed her to were he was going to learn how to swim as he was a little scared to do so but thought it would be lots of fun as then he could join his brother in swimming in the pool at the house.

"Hmm...well now you can hear the natural rhythm of the ocean." Tally giggled. To her nothing else could ever compare to the random crash of the waves on sand.
"Yup!" Tally slipped into the shallow waters and kicked out. A couple of seconds passed before she returned to the shallows with a grin, "It's good here." She held out a hand, "Come on in, Marii."

Marii did like the waves a little better than when it hit the pool as it was cooler sounding.
Looking around for a second as he felt foolish that he didn't know how to swim, but he took Tally's hand and wadded into the water as he knew that she knew what she was doing as his tail sorta swished back and forth under the water and he thought it was a intersting feeling. "So how do I start?"

"Well I guess ya should get used to the feel of the water first." Tally nodded thoughtfully before stretching her arms out and lazilly padding through the water. "Maybe you should just swish around a bit while standing up? I could show you how to move your arms. A doggy paddle maybe?"
The child smiled sheepishly, "Or maybe we should get ya to floating first after ya get used to the feel of the ocean around you." She ducked underwater to dampen her hair and quickly popped back out with a small grin. Luckily for us, it's good weather today."

Marii just nodded as stood there getting use to the feel and flow of the water and like the feeling of the salt water on his skin as is was very different from takeing a bath which in his mind was boring to do so. Marii also giggled at her mentioning the doggy paddle as he had just a few days ago been with his mothers clans wolf pack and learning different things from them.
"Well maybe floating first and then could you show me how the doggy paddle works," he asked with a grin. "Good for that, so with floating I just float on my back?" he asked. As he had seen one of his brothers floating in the pool back home and wondered if it was the same thing.

"Kay!" Tally giggled again as she resisted the urge to splash water at Marii. First she'd teach him to float and swim some before just goofing around. Or at least she would try. The antenna on her head glowed a patient light as she stretched her arms over the water.
"Yeah. Ya got ta float on your back, though you can float on your stomach like this - " There she did the dead man's float, there was no need for her to hold her breath since the water provided her oxygen through the moving gills on her neck.
Still Tally knew better than to stay like that for long. Sabra had really freaked out that one time after all. With a kick she straightened herself in the water and smiled at Marii, "Floating on your back is easier though. Just stretch out and let the wata have ya." She nodded and then she quickly demonstrated.
