It is time to discuss a Roleplaying Implement that we all know we want, but need to thoroughly discuss before having.

SQUAD ABILITIES

-A unique special ability developed by each squad, and accessible to any member of said squad

-Balanced out so not one Squad has an ability that enables them to be more powerful than another squad who is also using their ability

-Can be revoked as a punishment for improper behavior, inactivity, etc.

-Abilities will NOT be copied from the Gotei Elite as we are a branching family guild, and will be unique and separate from the GE's creative genius

Council Purpose:

This Council will now have an official vote on the usage of squad abilities. We will run on a Majority Vote of the Captains, 6 out of 11 present Captains must approve to pass this motion.

If this motion is passed, next the Council will discuss the creation of these Abilities, the rules and limitations, and when they will be activated.

Finally, once all Captains have submitted their prospective Squad Abilities, each ability will be analyzed by the Council to determine if the Ability is fair.

about my squad ability ~ Yes the gotei have the same idea ~ I dont deny that. However there is no law saying that the same idea cannot be used. But re-written so that it is not exact wording they have.

Considering that the Gotei Elites consider the ability legal to allow soldiers in the squad to access abilities one higher than themselves IF THEY CHOOSE then i see no problem with it/ ~ This is why i am using the one i have

Squad Ten Ability.
Everyone in my squad will be able to use shunpoe and the Captain and Lt. are the fastest people in the Seireitei. This ability can be used to bring in a devastating blow when an attack is preceded by shunpoe.

Restriction.
Everyone in my squad only has a limit of fifteen Kido.

I vote yes but I believe that it is up to the captain of that squad as to whether or not there is one for them.

Umm yeah i vote a no for this one.
You can give your captains and LT a special agility but you cannot simply say that they are the fastest.
Thats alittle a lotgod mod.

Although i voted no for Daokta's ability I vote yes to squad abilities as a whole.

Now that the motion has now been OFFICIALLY passed by a Majority of the Council, we will begin discussing Squad Abilities. I propose we make a Captain's only (for now) Sub-forum, and have it serve a similar purpose as the RCP Approval Sub-forum. This way, the members of the Council can discuss each Captain's Squad Ability and take constructive criticism to help develop their idea.

After each of the Abilities has been approved, we will open up the forum (and lock it) so the rest of our members can view their squad's ability.

WHy not just do it here in the captains hall. I mean that IS what the captains hall is for. To discuss stuff about the guild that could change it in any potential way.

Well it would be much more efficient to have each of us post our potential abilities in an organized manner. If we post them in here, they would get lost and confusion would inevitably ensue.

Plus, once all the abilities are passed, they would be able to be viewed by the members, in a format and organization that they could easily access.

sorry inter interject, but it should be called Squad Abilities (under construction) and yes it should be crew only for right now.
