 Maise woke to find herself sitting in the rain it was storming pretty good the rain was coming hard and the lightning was striking as the thunder rolled. she quickly ran for cover and sat in the shelter of a large bush. she was hungry but knew nothing would be out in weather like this she sat to wait out the storm.she had been wondering for so long by herself it would be nice for the weather to clear so she could continue on her way. she had trust issues after what happened when she was young her eye still bore the scar and she never did regain sight from her left eye. when she was you a male fox had attacked her and permanently damaged it. " O i wish the rain would stop i smell a lot of foxes around here."

 Ni Kishi was woundering through the rain of the woods after returning from a long lonely journy, a rabbit in his mouth as the rain fell hard upon his head though it didn't seem to bother him to much as he sat down behind a large bush, the sent of another female fox was still in the air even with all the rain. he layed down in the wet grass not at all concerned with any of the lightning or thunder as he started to chew on the dead rabbit, his tail swished back and forth until it hit the bush shaking it a bit.

Maise heard a sound jumping out from under the bush and looking back standing in th esoaking rain shaking not sure what had moved she didnt know what was there " wh... who's th...there?" she asked still shaking she got into a position that she could either fight or run whichever seemed the safes.

Ni Kishi sat up half of the rabbit left on the wet ground, he got up and poked his nose through the bush and peered through slowly, "oh hello sorry if I startled you there. My names Ni Kishi I was just eating." he pulled his head back through the bush and then came forth from it fully with the rabbit in his mouth once again, he layed it down on the ground and pushed it slightly towards the female fox with his nose. "here you can have some if you'd like." he said shaking off some of the water and scraching behind his ear as he sat on the ground.

she was startled by his males apearance he was handsome but that didnt change her trust. sh eseen the half eaten hare but wasnt sure if she should take any food from him. he seemed kind enough bt that didnt make it true. she shook the rain from her coat intentionally hitting him with it. " no thank" you she said " i just ate before the rain started" she was lying as her stumac gave a low rumble in complaint to her turning down the hare. she turned and walked to another bush near by and lay down not taking her eyes off him for a second but she did this in a way that he cold not see her. she wanted to be friends but she wasnt sure if she should just yet. so she continued to lay there watching as the rain dripped down through the bush nd hit her on her little nose. she shook the rain off and clossed her eyes most of the way so she looked like she was sleeping.

Ni kishi again picked the rabbit up and moved it over to her laying it down in front of her, "your stomach says other wise." he said as his ears twiched alittle, Ni Kishi then got up and walked over to another bush and teared a giant leaf with his teeth apart from the rest of the bush. he walked back over to the female and held the giant leaf over the girl in order to protect her from the rain. "eat." he murmered around his teeth trying to reasure her he ment her no harm.

she seen the male getting up with his rabbit as he dropped it he walked away and came back with a leaf she wasnt sure about him at all. she stared at him for a long while. then finally her hunger getting the better of her she decided that she would eat the rabbit. but she wasnt going to eat it here. she quickly grabbed the rabbit and ran off into the bushes. she soon came to a river and ran down stream for a while the cut back up onto land when she felt she was far enough away she sat down and slowly began to eat.

Ni Kishi droped the leaf as soon as she took off into the brush, he quickly chased after thinking it was a simple game like when he was a kit back in the day, he followed the scent up to the river but lost her scent and just walked up and down the streamfor a bit. he soon would come acroos the female again seeing her in a distance "hey your pretty good at hiding your scent" he said jokingly as he came upon her. "enjoying the rabbit?" he asked sitting down infront of her.

she startled as she finished the last of the hare that was on her mouth. " how did you find me?" she said a little surprised.she stood up and looked him straight in the eye "what do you want with me? Why are ou following me?"

"is that suppossed to be a compliment?" she asked not sure how else to respond. he was trying to be nice but she wasnt sure she could trust him yet.

"well I did say you smell NICE" he said putting effases on nice "so yea its a compliment he said as his tail waged back and forth across the wet grass, the rain had begun to stop as moon light beams penatrated teh sky eatch one hitting both of them.

His eyes where like emeralds and his coat was gorgeous even though it was wet but she still couldn't let herself trust this male. so as a test she jumped at him and bit his front leg till it oozed blood and ran down his leg then she ran a few paces towards the river and waited to see what he would do.

Ni Kishi gazed into her red and white eyes mesmarised by there unique color and as he was about to ask her what ahd happend he found that his front leg was in pain and he winced fearful of what had just happend, as soon as she had let go however instead of striking back he limped to the river and begain to run cold water over it to stop its bleeding, turning to her he simply smirked, "well if you were still hungry why didn't you just ask? I can try hunting another rabbit down for you." he lifted his leg and begain to lick the wound

She was surprised by his lack of response. but still took a step back he could still strike when the pain and blood stop. she soo wanted to trust him but wasn't sure and was afraid he wouldn't trust her either now she sure wouldn't trust herself but she didn't know what else to do other than bite him like she did. so she didn't reply to his joke only sat a little way off as he cleaned his wound she hoped for his sake it wouldn't get infected. it looked clean but she could only see with the one eye.
