AKA, the guide for the people who are importing and don't know WTF they're doing.
Basic command commands: Note that this applies to the Japanese version ONLY.
Joystick - move character
circle - Basic attack; examine; select in menus
X - Jump; Hold in air for Glide (Ven only); Double jump (Aqua only); deselect/cancel in menus
Square - Guard/Reflect (while motionless); dodge (while moving); Air dash (while in air; Terra and Aqua only)
Triangle - use command/Dlink
Right arrow- Go to Dlink select
Up and down arrows - page trough commands; move through the menu
Left arrow - leave Dlink select
R/L buttons - move the camera.
R/L (press both) - Lock On/off
R/L Buttons (Hold Both) - Shoot Lock (lock onto targets, then press circle to activate)
Start button - Pause/access main menu.
Fill the command Bar on top of the Command Menu with regular attacks in battle to use a finisher; fill it with special commands from the command menu to activate a style change (or not). Fill it period to use a DLink's finisher or a style change's finisher.

The Dimension Link (for further reference, will be shortened to D-Link) is the summoning of characters the trio meets in the various worlds they visit. The name itself should be obvious as to what it's purpose is; activating a D-link summons a character's power from another world.
Players are further able to D-link their friends when using the wireless functions, to which they appear as their chosen character in armored form.
Usage:
To use this feature, you need to add it as a D-Link Command into your separate D-Link menu and can only be used when the D-Link gauge (the blue meter next to the HP meter) is full. To fill it, you need to collect blue prizes from enemies just like you gain Drive Gauge in KHII.
Upon linking with a character, the Command Menu gauge (primarily used for Mode Changes) changes to show how long your companion will stay on the field; the face of said companion will show just above your current character's. Needless to say you become more powerful and unique finishing moves will be available.
