Is awesome. I dug up some old purikura pictures from my last time in Japan <3

they're also quite popular within american asian-neighbourhoods, but a fair bit more expensive and less choices (designs, frames, formats...) than in Asia (as are everything else)
so THAT's what those sticker-photo machines are called in japanese! sweatdrop
but personally, i'm not ready to spend that much on those photos... they don't last that long if left in the open air...

They're not stickers always. A lot of them you take and you can have them sent to your cellphone using a redeemer code type thing. And they're really high tech in Japan, in America they're a little more antiquated (can you say "neoprint") I have some I'm uploading, but I need to put them all onto one.

oh, i know they don't only make stickers. it's just that's how we chinese refer to them generally... i'm sure there's a more technical term for them...
it'd be interesting to see just how high tech they have it in Japan wink

Woot, sorry it took so long, my friend told me to put my name on it stare
Anyways, here are about 1/20 Purikura I have. I think these were all taken on the same day xd I'm the one with the green shirt/orange spot thing one of them (it was a green screen) Purikura ^^
Print Club ^^ it is those machines where you can take pictures and write little dealies on them. They are really high tech in Japan, but not so much here u.u
My cousin hosted a foreign exchange student a while back, she had a ton of those little pics. Next time I go I'll try it out.

I found Purikura so much fun! Even though its mostly girls (in fact a couple of the places I went to you couldnt go into unless you had a girl with you). Its not as popular as it was a few years ago. But its still very common to see friends trading Purikura books to look at each others photos.

I've heard about them but never tried. I know it's quite expensive... Try once in my life can't hurt. whee
