"Ugggh. I'm going to be so late." She cursed herself inwardly as she picked up her pace, shifting the bag full of purchases that she'd just had to make before the mall closed and she was sent out to the streets of Destiny City. It was a Sunday night which meant she was due back to school and if she didn't hurry they were going to lock the gates and she wouldn't be able to get back in before curfew without being sneaky.
It was incredibly hard to be sneaky with the rustle of paper bags and the crinkle of the tissue paper guarding the purchases within. She was never going to make it back in time... And then what? Would they forbid her from leaving campus to go home on weekends? Would they...
"No. Just move faster, Cordy. You know how to run in heels better than any other girl and you thought about joining track once. You can make it through the rest of this stretch and maybe find a cab. Or a nice boy. Or..."
Rambling to herself was probably the worst way to go about not drawing attention to herself...

One of the worst days to gain attention indeed...
Sitting on top of a building Fayalite gazed down at the people below her, swinging her booted feet back and forth on the edge of the store-amusing herself when a piece of gravel fell off the building and landed near a human. She spent the day scouting out potential targets- only to find it harder than she expected it.
Pink eyes drifted over the people- not many people were left around this time of night... mostly just humans heading home after a day of work. Time passed, and the streets become pretty much deserted. She sighed and grumbled something about a waste of time- standing and brushing the dirt off the back of her shorts... and not too soon. Around the corner- a single female dressed in a familiar uniform manifested.. almost as if Fayalites wish came true. She smirked- deciding this was her first true test as a new Negaverse Lieutenant.
Waiting for the right moment her leg muscles stretched and released- using her new found stamina to launch herself into the air and land near the human. She was aiming to go infront of the girl... but she still was not used to this leaping thing. Poor human, no one around to listen if she screamed- the thought of this just raised her blood lust. " Good evening, Sunshine." This was a familiar greeting she used the first time she met another negaverser... was this growing into a habbit?
The next second- Fayalite grabbed the wrist of the girl... and firmly dragged her away from the normally packed street.

She let out a squeak as the strangely dressed girl landed in front of her. The coat was fashionable, yes, but when combined with those pants and those... Really, Cordy, this is no time to be picking apart someone's attire. She berated herself as she took a step back. "I'm sorry... Can I help you?"
There was obviously nothing Sunshine about this girl. If anything she was midnight; dark and cool up until she felt fingers wrap around her wrist at which point her heart began to pound. "Excuse me..." She tried to snatch her wrist back, going as far so to drop one of her bags so that she could use both hands. "Let go. I don't know who you are, or who you think you are, but this is not cool."

"Shut up- Your not calling the shots here, human!" She felt agitated... like she normally did when she was close to someone else whom she disliked. She really should feel a pang of sympathy... but after years of despising what she was, she now focused that on others. This human was the prey, she was the hunter.
Though she had to admit- she was glad she was wearing boots. The ice on the ground wasnt exactly easy to see at night- and she'd father not slip and fall if she could help it. Though the ice wasn't making it easy to drag her away from possible peering eyes.
Once Fayalite felt like they were far enough- she let go of her wrist wheeled around and shoved the human female- clearly attempting to throw her off balance. "You don't need to know who i am, you wont live long enough to remember anyways."

"H-human? And what are you? Some sort of fre--ack!" The shove was just enough to shove her off balance, ankle turning a bit awkwardly before she brought her hands up to catch herself face first.
She hissed as she felt her palms scrape against the brick wall along with the dull throb from her wrists at the impact. Groaning, she shifted, peering over her shoulder, eyes gleaming with anger just as much as there was fear. "Listen, if it's money you want... My dad. He has a lot of it... He..."

"Didn't i say shut up? I do not want any of your damn money. Paper doesn't matter to this cause... no. What i need is something much more important." Grasping the girls shoulder she started to reach for the girls chest- just as Captain Obsidian had shown her. It didn't matter which side she reached into as long as she aimed for the chest.
"MROOWWRRRR!" A loud- feline noise came from behind just as Fayalite was about to reach in and pull out the starseed. Chloe ran from the side and slammed her feline body as hard as she could into Fayalites legs.
The action caused Fayalite's fingers to lose their grip and send her tumbling to the cement torso first. The ice had claimed her after all- sending her sliding into a large heap of snow- she couldn't hear nor see anything.
Chloe tugged on the shoe laces of the human girl and looked up with pleading eyes. "I need you to trust me! Follow me if you dont want your soul to be taken." She side glanced over at the negaverse female in the snow- she would not stay incapacitated for long.

She wasn't going to cry. She wasn't going to cry. She wasn't going to cry. Over and over she repeated that in her head as her slender fingers clenched into fists. Maybe she'd cry when she felt the knife or the bullet or whatever it was this crazy was going to do to her, but she wouldn't give her the satisfaction of hearing her tears now.
Then she was falling, hands barely managing to unclench in time to catch her. She could feel the scratch on her face, knew there would be a bruise, but for now she was alive... At least she was certain she was, without the feeling of blood pouring out of anywhere.
There was a voice, though, and a tug at her shoe. Her eyes were wide as she glanced down and the voice came again. Follow me if you... The rest was a blur as she realized that the voice was coming from... From... From a cat.
Not as if that was the weirdest thing to happen to her tonight.
Scrambling for purchase on the concrete she pulled herself up, glancing back over at the crazy that had attacked her. She was lost in the snow for the moment, but she had a feeling deep down in the pit of her stomach that things like that didn't last too long. "Alright... Lead the way, cat."

Chloe looked back once more at the negaverser before she turned tail and guided the human away. She needed to make them think that Chloe was just saving the human and then running for it. Which, technically they were running away... but not for long.
Ducking around the corner the feline made sure no one was around before she turned back to the other human. "She wont be down for long. She will be coming back soon- we need to be ready." Doing a little flip in the air- Chloe landed back onto the cold snow with a pen in her mouth. She offered it to the girl before she continued to talk.
"You need to hold this pen into the air and say 'Corvus Star Power, Make Up!'"
Almost as if on cue- some distance away Fayalite flipped around and looked around dazed. "Little ********." She growled- one blessing about the snow and ice was it leaves tracks. So of course, she followed them. It didnt occur to her that one of the tracks was a feline- she hadn't been briefed on Guardian Cats.

"How... How can you talk? What's going on? What's..." Her list of questions could go on and on but they were cut short by the little trick performed by the feline. She'd never seen a cat do tricks before (she'd never heard one talk before either, but that was besides the point...), or flip, or... Produce pens from thin air; pens that caught her eye like nothing had before, almost as if it was calling to her.
She stretched her hand out to take it, fingers just barely brushing against it before pulling back as she jumped at the sound of boots crunching in the snow. Her eyes went wide with panic as she glanced up only to snatch the pen seconds later. She didn't have time to argue, not if she wanted to escape whatever fate that freak had in store for her.
Once the pen was in her hand, cold metal against her palm, she snapped to attention, almost as if this were something she'd done a dozen times before. She took a deep breath as she extended the pen above her head, repeating the words that the feline had said. "Corvus. Star. Power... Make Up!"
The transformation was over almost as soon as it began, yet in that time it felt like she'd become an entirely different person... And maybe she had, she pondered to herself as she glanced down at herself, blinking as she got an eyeful of her own chest.
"... What the...? Holy s**t..." She squeaked the moment the word was out, bringing her hand up quickly to cover her mouth before looking around for the feline. "... What now? What am I supposed to do like this? Distract her with my chest?"

The idea of fighting with ones chest seemed to appaul her- maybe it was that she felt more feline than she did human. Though she could see the advantages in using your body to distract, Chloe had a feeling it would not work on this Negaverser.
"You need to look inside yourself- and find the right words. As a senshi- words have power. You also have increased physical attributes to aid yourself while fighting." Chloe grew tired of giving these one second speeches on 'how to be a senshi guide- chapter one!'. There was so much more she could say but- so little time.
Fayalite growled once as she heard voices close by. She figured now that the stupid human that she had caught earlier was long gone... the footprints got way too muddled up with other prints along the way. She would have to settle with whoever was around the corner. Not wanting to make any mistakes this time- she summoned her lantern weapon and held it in both hands. She would ******** clobber the hell out of whomever it was- no getting away THIS time.

Increased physical attributes... Again Cordelia, no, Sailor Corvus, looked down at her chest, snorting. She highly doubted that's what the little feline was talking about so she dismissed it, instead trying to refocus her thoughts, searching hard for anything her brain might possibly know about fighting.
Nothing. Nothing at all. Cordelia Carden was a lover, not a fighter. She bought off bullies with cookies and cupcakes and maybe, if they were cute, a kiss on the cheek. She didn't fight them...
And words? Words were supposed to work against this boot wearing, cute coat wearing, lamp toting...
"Oh god, she's coming." Whatever calm she might have gained during her transformation and the brief moment of 'safety' after was gone. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest again, the rise and fall of her breasts quickening as she tried her best not to panic.
Her best failed, of course, leaving her to let out another rather undignified squeak as she tried to run past the looming baddy with angry pink eyes.

Well, THIS was a surprise. Hey she thought she would round the corner, and see two girls chattering about boys or something. But NOT this. There was a feline, but she took off soon after so she brushed off the random cat. After all, she did not know what a guardian cat was yet.
The second person... Skirt- check, bow- check, general sailor look- check, frilly frufru girly girl- check. Was THIS a senshi? What a pathetic excuse for a enemy, the look of fear and even the squeak? Was this thing supposed to be a enemy to the Negaverse? She could not fathom how this was even possible.
"I don't think sooooo" Swinging her lantern around, she placed the length of the pole down to try and trip up the senshi. She was going no where... oh no. First starseed, from a senshi? Better ******** believe it.

The pole caught her ankle easily, sending her tumbling across the alley and the ice, coming to a sliding stop with her back against a brick wall. She arched with a groan, trying to push herself back up only to slide down again. Useless heels, stupid outfit. She was going to die out here in this cold alley as a senshi that no one had ever heard of before.
"You need to look inside yourself - and fight the right words. As a senshi - words have power..." Words have power... The mantra repeated in her head until the words that she knew deep down would aide her came to mind. She brought her hands together, eyes open and gleaming as she spoke them. "Corvus's Revenge!"
...
...
A moment passed, the enemy loomed closer... And nothing happened. Nothing at all.

Her smirk grew as the senshi slid and hit the wall- This was far too easy. She had been warned to watch out for such things, but if this was the best they could offer...
She stalked over towards Corvus and stood infront of her and loomed over the poor girl. "If this is the best you can do... I'm damn disappointed." She said through gritted teeth, and kicked her in the shin with a booted foot. While this would be a easy kill... she was sort of hoping for a challenge.
"What was that? Some sort of useless attack?" Why did they have to call out things to transform and attack anyways... in the negaverse they just sort of shifted into who they were automatically. To get her point across she twisted her lantern and sent it towards the senshi's side.

A gasp turned into a groan as the end of the pole jabbed her, wedging itself between the boning of her corset. She coughed as her fingers wrapped around the base of the wooden rod, grasping it tightly before giving it a tug in an attempt to jerk the other girl closer to her while displacing it from her side.
"You really shouldn't have done that..." It wasn't the frightened girl speaking now, with eyes focused on her attacker. This wasn't Cordelia Carden or Sailor Scardey. This was Sailor Corvus; Senshi of Vengeance about to wreak her own for the first time, finally understanding the meaning behind the words as she held her hand out, focusing her pain and her fury. "Revenge!"
It wasn't the same as if she had focused the energy with both hands, but it served its purpose, the dark power breaking free from her fingertips with what she hoped would be enough force to knock her assailant away from her... And if it wasn't she'd just do it again until she was spent and the debt was paid...
Or until someone came to break up their fight; the authorities, in this case. She heard the voices before she saw them. Two patrolmen, she'd guess, coming to respond to the tousle in the alley. Whatever happened she knew she couldn't get caught like this, knowing she wouldn't be able to explain it. She at least hoped that whoever, whatever, was attacking her would have sense enough to cease long enough for both of them to get away before they were reigned in.
