Soul Eater is an Anime/Manga where students and teachers in a school called "Shibusen" fight against a powerful enemy known as the Demon God. The students are taught to wield weapons as "Meisters" to protect their world from the revival of the Demon God. They strive to collect ninety-nine Kishin Souls and one Witches Soul to create a powerful Death Scythe!

In this RP you will role-play as both your Meister and your Weapon. This is so there will be no complications such as: "I cannot RP because my Weapon/Meister is not online." Also as a weapon when you transform from human to weapon the person role-playing the weapon now has no control over themselves and must sit back and watch their Meister RP. Lastly it is so we do not have more Weapons than Meisters or vica-verca.

You may play as a teacher or student in the RP; Witches are also available. You may play a Death Scythe but you must have a dominant understanding of the Anime/Manga and know what you are doing to do so. The same applies to the RPer of Shinigami-sama.

Below you will see a list of "Approved Characters." There you will see each of the approved characters for the RP. The Staff are the teachers who are teaching at Shibusen. Each teacher will be responsible for teaching two students depending on the circumstances. The Physician is the Nurse or Doctor at Shibusen. Witches, Demons, and He/She of Black Blood will be mostly the villains of the RP. However, if you wish to be on the good side then please specify that in your character history in your profile.

Long ago, 837 years to be precise, the world was a dangerous and brutal place. Warlords, Witches, and Demons ran rampant across the globe. All seemed like it would be plunged into the fiery depths of hell, that is, until a new force arose to stop the evil forces. A group of warriors known as The Eight Legendary Meisters, lead by Death himself, formed a group in order to stop the destructive chaos in the world and keep the carnage to a minimum, if not stop it altogether. They needed to halt the madness or else a Kishin, a demon God, would be born. For over a decade, they kept peace over the world, eliminating evil souls, demons, and the like. Though, right under their noses, they did not see what would happen next.

One of the Eight Meisters, known as Asura, had become corrupt. Out of fear and a lust for power, he began destroying souls that were not needed to be destroyed. Out of madness, he ate his own weapon, and with that he became the first Kishin. With Asura's new power, he began corrupting the world around him, his very aura causing madness wherever he went. His power was beyond compare, a power that even scared Shinigami himself. With the help of the other six warriors, and after a lengthy and traumatic battle, the Kishin was stopped by Shinigami. In order to stop him, Asura's skin was ripped from his body and was used as a seal, then he was locked deep underground. As an added precaution, to keep him from arising, Shinigami used his souls power in order to suppress the Kishin.

Being unable to leave the area, as he had to keep this great evil sealed, Shinigami decided to found a school to train children in order to become Meisters and aid in keeping a new Kishin from arising. The school is known as The Shinigami Weapon Meister Vocational School, or Shibusen for short. It has worked to train Meisters and weapons for centuries, in order to keep peace and balance across the worlds.

Now, there is a bit of a shortage of students, and a rise in dark souls and Witch activity as of late. Shinigami is now searching for students from further away then Death City, the city situated around the school. There is still the possibility of another rise of the Kishin. Will the students rise up and take the challenge? Will a new Kishin come forth into the world? Or will Shinigami have to call forth his greatest weapons, the Death Scythes, and take matters into his own hands?

Copy and paste what is below and PM it to me, or a mod. Remove the parts that are outside the bold they are not needed. If there are any ablities that I think wont fit your character then I will not approve of them and remove them. If you create an ability for a made up character explain every detail of it to me. I will then approve or disapprove of it.

Meister: Meisters are people with exceptional soul wavelengths and are paired with weapons. Meisters are best known for being paired with weapons, but top level meisters can fight on their own. Meister are ranked on a star system, 1 star being the lowest and 3 being the best. It is evident from the focus in battle and types of skills. The skills of a meister vary from person to person but they all must know how to channel their soul's wavelength. Some skills take the form of attacks, field skills, and much more. Skills often reflect the personality of the meister.

Weapons: Weapons in Soul Eater are weapons who have the ability to transform into Humans to make it easier to associate with their Meister. Most weapons can also transform parts of their body into weapon form to enhance their own ability to fight, however with the exception of a few autonomous weapons most are unable to do much harm without being paired with a meister.
The first weapons were created 800 years prior to the start of the series by the witch Arachne. To create a demon weapon she murdered a fellow Witch to use as a sacrifice. Using the witch's soul which has the power of transformation Arachne joined together an inanimate weapon and a human soul to create a weapon which had the ability to transform from human to weapon form. This act of killing her own kind labeled her as "The Heretic Witch" and caused her to be hunted by both Shinigami and Witch alike.
The blood of a weapon is passed down through genetics, however it does not always manifest itself. There are many cases where the child of a weapon, or pair of weapons, remains unable to change.

Black Blood Weapon: A Black Blood Weapon, is a weapon that is melted down into black blood, and then transfused into a persons body. This forms a symbiotic nature between the meister and the weapon, as they share the same body. In their human form, they sprout from a part of the meisters body in a humanoid form. When they turn into their weapon form, they are seperated in two, the weapon, and the blood inside of the meister. Though the power is not decresed by this split. As the weapon is part of the body, they can control the black blood in order to heal wounds, harden the blood to stop attacks, and give super strength to the meister.

Resonance of Soul: Soul Resonance (魂の共鳴, Tamashii no Kyōmei; Literally meaning "Resonance of the Soul" ) is a special technique used by Meisters and Weapons, in which, they synchronize their Souls wavelength. By doing so, they can release highly powerful techniques and, more often than not, change the tide of a battle.

Resonating Souls: Resonating Souls is the foundation of using the Soul Resonance technique and are how most partners are matched up. The souls of both Meister and Weapon should compliment one another for the best result. Resonating souls with partner's souls that are too similar can result in feedback effect, hurting both parties and resulting in failure in technique or form of combat.
Resonating requires both meister and weapon to be calm and of one mind. Should one of the soul not be in sync, techniques can not be performed. If a technique is being used and one soul loses focus, the technique will power or direction. Common reasons for soul's not to sync are fear, arguing, stress, etc.
It is possible to resonate with more that one soul at a time, but it is noted to be a hard technique to control and use effectively.

Chain Resonance: Just as it would indicate, this kind of Resonance is a team of Meisters matching their wavelengths with one another in order to empower one another. It is difficult to maintain, unless all the team can easily keep their souls on a balanced level. There is no set number meisters required to perform the Chain Resonance, but it is more powerful in a bigger team. Also, Chain Resonance seems to work best with weapon's of similar elements.

Soul Perception: Soul Perception is a technique used by Meisters. This abilities grants the user to see into others soul, literally. Unfortunately, Soul Perception doesn't work on a witch who is using Soul Protect. They will practically go unnoticed, or appear to have human souls. Soul Perception is limited to the user's vision and can not view a spirit that the user is already engulfed in, such as, Shinigami's Spirit enveloping the entirety of Death City.

Soul Protect: As the witches' soul wavelength can be easily distinguished by trained meisters, they developed an incantation named "Soul Protect" which conceals their presence, but renders them unable to use their powers unless the incantation is lifted.

Kishin: Kishin is the term used to name a Demon God. They are created as a final result when a pure soul eats another one, corrupting it and creating what its called a "Kishin egg" that after eating more souls, will gain enough power to be called a Demon God.
Shibusen was created to prevent Kishins to be created.
The first kishin created was ironically part of the group which was leaded by the Shinigami itself a long time ago. His name is Asura, he ate his weapon partner, but he was stopped by the Shinigami.

It was the morning of the first day of the school year. No alarms sounded. It was a very quiet morning. A beautiful woman with two coloured eyes and a scar over one walked into the room of a young boy and shook him gently awake. She whispered in his ear that it was time to get ready. The young boy now rested from his sleep rose from his bed and walked over to the bathroom to get ready. The woman, however, walked into another room to find a man snoring on the floor, bed destroyed, pillows thrown across the room, and a blanket barely covering his boxers. She was frustrated and yelled, "KENJIMOTO! WAKE UP THIS INSTANT! IT IS RAMEN'S FIRST DAY OF THE NEW YEAR!" He simply rolled over and under the bed, "Not.... there..." A few snores separated that from, "Please leave the cookies on the table for me..."

Ramen walked out of the bathroom fully dressed and ready for the day. He peeked inside Kenjimoto's room and said, "Kenji be ready in five minutes." he said calmy. Kenjimoto was then promptly out from under the bed and rushing to get ready, Within five minutes Ramen was looking at his two friends; examining them before walking to the school. Kyoto stood beautifully in her normal grey clothing which was perfectly ironed and worn. Kenji, however, has messy hair, shirt on backwards AND inside out and not tucked in, one shoe on, two different socks, and only one glove. He also did not have his katana by his side. He had forgotten it in the rush. Ramen sighed and pointed to the next room. Kenjimoto sulked and left to fix himself up and get ready for real this time. Kyoto and Ramen left to head to their school: Shibusen Meister Acadamy. "Sayonara Otoosama!" He yelled as he left the house. The Shinigami wished him luck on his first day. The first day of the new year.
