I grinned at Pent. "So... when are we going to go?" My voice bounces off the metallic walls of the Warehouse.
The energy recedes from my daggers, and they morph back into normal mechanical form, the good ol' cyber-Gust Blades. My armor shifts into Stealth Mode.
The controlled energy of my shifting armor makes the warehouse fairly ring with static, and my skin crackles with energy. A spark dances over Pent's shoulder.
I feel so pumped right now...

Walking out of the warehouse I almost tripped on a spare screw that was lying around, I was the joker of this pack, Sharad had his calm coolness/coldness and Draxio was silently checking over the weaponry Sharad leant her.

I grinned and patted Pent on the back. "Hey... your girlfriend has my bazooka, and my spare katana. If she messes them up... well, idunno." I chuckled. "Just make sure they get back to me in one piece. Each. I don't want any bazookatana crap going on."
But that would be epic.
As we walked through Aekea; an alien, a robot, and a semi-human; we attracted very little attention.
"Hey... Pent. Ever wonder... ah, never mind." I smiled and shook my head. I'd think about that later.

I stopped, I had suspitions that something was watching us, like an armada of tiny insects floating in any shadow, waiting for a moment to latch on and devour their victim, leaving only their dried out bones!
Okay... I had definately watched a little too much 'Professor What: Temporal Knight', but something was watching us... But what?

"You have sci-fi problems, mate." I grinned and patted Pent on the back. "What does she see in you, anyways?" I giggled violently, then checked myself. I'm not sure what my girl saw in me either.

Eh. Maybe girls thought it was cute.
I grinned the hell anyways, before walking a few feet and feeling the same thing that Pent was. "Uh... hey, Pent. What's... that?"

((Description-plot time go! Song for this cave section provided by youtube and MP2 - The Cave of the Mechanical Demon - Hell's Gate )) From the ruins of the back part of the factory, entrance to what some bots have managed to call 'Hell's gate' before either disapearing or just plain blowing up, there where some cables dangling down, wrapped on some stone pillars and some even showing signs to still being conected to a power source, cable's sparkling and shocking, giving up a bizzare but strangely enchanting aura to the place.
This, however, would be cut down short as some of the up-most cables attached to the roof showed they had other intensions that just being mere transport lines for power and guides to the source: in the roof... things... hanging.
The first part was covered by bots which, as they where hanged, seemed to be a sort of electric piñata, dangling in the emptiness of the cave, some of them slightly loose and with the probability to fall upon unknown people.
However, the 'second' row included a much more grimm scenario: people.
Or at least... people looking things: most of the things attached to the cables where power suits or endoskeletic humanoid protection. Some of them familiar to the soldiers who helped Kiga in the quest against the Sentinel. The few recognizable ODST, hanging in a shocking position that would either declare them dead or just... unmoving. Inert, like the bots. A clear warning of what might be ahead of them.
However, the third and last part, aside from the many other 'trophies' alike from the second row, was a lone humanoid figure in armor as well, except that this last armor was orange rather than grey or black. Orange with a red chestplate and large circular shoulders. What a strange pattern to observe on such thing. And more when said thing was just in the middle, above where the second section of the cave was, like if it could jump down without precipitation and kill those who dared to go by. But, by the looks of it's dangling body, such would sadly (sad for the person who was in said suit... or if there was any person in it...) wasn't true.
However, from the looks of the team enterering the cave, one highly equiped with technology, one that was half-way to be technology and one... well... who was technology, this could only scream to them to get the hell out. The dangling bots, bodies and armor-suits would probably like to warn them of the atrocities they encountered. But, this, without any extra things, just told them they where in the right path: Tenshi would probably be just ahead...

I walked into the cave, my scanners were being scrambled, exept for one, Radar... And it was going haywire! Something was coming, something big, and there were signals being transmitted between the suspended robots, a sucurity network, like a when you pick up the key to a door that goes to a boss and find a whole minature boss reveals itself while you're holding the key!

"... damn, man..." I followed close behind Pent, keeping my daggers spinning in case of an emergency or a surprise assault.
Wait, that's weird.
"Is that... SAMUS! OH MY GOD!" I completely disregarded safety and common sense, and rushed toward the mass of mangled Adamantium and Metroid energy that was once a Power Suit, suspended from the ceiling by something oddly resembling a power line.
"Damnit... I'm going to tear that goddamn MK apart from the inside out." This menace had to be destroyed... Samus...
Well, it didn't smell. Nobody was inside the Power Suit, which was good... but that meant that the blonde-haired space girl would be running around in her Zero Suit, which is at least a little less licentious than it sounds.
"Right... she's around here somewhere. Aran, I mean. Tenshi can wait. I can't just triage my space buddy." We had fought side-by-side last time Ridley had assaulted her, so we had history.

I was still examineing the energy signatures from each of the power cables, they seemed to be transmitting more than just energy, they were transmitting instructions.... Programming was going from the mass of robots and mech-suits.... Something was preparing... But what?

We moved onwards, it seemed like every shadow was a beast waiting to pounce, Draxio had equipped her DASH, and the armour shifter. I was hoping that 73N5H1 wasn't far away, but judging by the condition of the things dangling from the ceiling I was hoping we would be able to catch her by surprise.
All my instruments were failing, something was jamming every signal I had. Several hours ago I had sent out an 'Invitation' to Genji, but I didn't know if he was coming.
