I was in towns helping a friend look for someone to fight, asked Guild Master Vanguard, and ended up with the invite.

I saw one of my close friends (Cross) joining the guild so I thought I'd check it out. It turned out to be something up my alley so to speak and I saw that some of my friends were also in this guild so I joined ^^
