It covers over 70% of the world.

The salt water smells nice and feels refreshing on a sunny day, but in bad weather, it's a horrible experience. Better hope you can swim.

Docks and shoreline can also be RPd here before you actually hitch a ride on a boat.

This is an enormous area, so you probably won't run into anyone else out here.

Wilhelmina Grady

Back in Death's Office, Will's eye had made a slight twitch. She had kept walking, but her expression soured a bit. She was silent for the entirety of their walk to the bus and the lo~ng ride. It was kinda... discomforting coming form Will....especially to those who knew her. They reached a port that had a boat heading for Brazil... somewhere around there.
"C'mon.... le's faind t'is boat..."
Her voice sounded a bit.... disgruntled. Kinda the way one would talk when holding back a terrible rage... and right before they unleashed it.

Cross-country bus rides... through the desert... and the bayou... just... no.

It hadn't even registered in Cypress's mind that they were no longer on a bus. She was too tired, and hot, and sticky to be pissed. She stumbled wearily down the docks. She was mostly upset that she had complained about the hot desert at the beginning of the trip. Eastern Texas on was much worse.

Hell wasn't on fire; hell was humid.

"Got... tickets... I have... tickets..." she blearily waved several passes she'd retrieved from the nearest office that would allow the group passage on one of the docked ships. She'd probably been screwed over price-wise in her sleep deprived state, but at least the rest of the journey would involve the cool, ocean air.

Cypress nearly collapsed on a bench. She tossed her head back and blew a long stream of sweet-smelling smoke into the sky. She thought she'd melt to the seat of that god-forsaken bus.

Seven had long since released Will from the hug of death, and was now following behind her like a puppy, attempting to mirror her movements in order to replicate ‘the walk of the Irish’ and ‘the hand gestures of the Irish’. However, it seemed that if the moment they had left Death’s Office, she had been a lot quieter. Not mellow, really, more swimming in a silent sea of anger. Did she say something?

“D-Did I upset the Irish person…?”
Seven asked, her eyes getting wide and watery.
“W-What did I do…?”

Suddenly convinced that she no longer had a reason to live after somehow wronging the Irish, she grabbed onto Rydel’s arm and prepared to sob into his sleeve if she wasn’t consoled soon. As well as being a bit off her rocker, Luck was just a teeny bit bipolar. It didn't take much to send her spiraling down into depression.

Will was too focused on her feelings of deep, burning hatred to really notice the weather. But in the back of her mind she was hating it! Sure, Ireland was wet but it was never so hot! It felt terrible! Where was the cool, calming fog? The grey skies that shielded you from the harsh sun?
Will looked down at her arms. One was already starting to burn!
"Feck!"
Ya see, the Irish- they don't tan, they just burn! And, naturally, Will had forgotten to bring any form of sun-block to her new school that was located in a desert!!!

Will's movements were as always, the complete opposite of feminine as possible. That was just how she was. Every gesture, step, motion even when she was still was the very epitomy of masculine. Her voice too.
...is she really a girl?
Looking down, Will just noticed that she'd been being followed the whole time. Seven looked like she was about to cry. Will was hit by a wave of 'oh s**t'! She was never very good with kids that weren't her younger siblings, then again she wasn't too great with them all the times either!
"EH! ER- NOO, noo! Ye did not'in wrang, i's jus'......" she stammered out, a bit flustered.
She was trying to find the right words here. She had a fan afer all! And as much as she believed she deserved to have more than one- she didn't get them very often. She didn't want to accidentally say the wrong thing and scare her away.
All she could do was glare up at Rydel with all the rage of the Irish and grumble out so low one could barely hear,
"Feckin... clatty.... Brits..."
Wilhelmina Grady was not a hateful person. There were very few things or people she realy hated. People who talked durning the movies for example, or people who tried to ruin her parties, or when the Garda come in to break up a protest/riot/party.
Other than that, the only thing she truely hated from the depth of her soul was the British. For reasons concerning Ireland's history with them and for personal reasons.

Seven had a sudden and miraculous recovery. Her tears immediately cleared up, and she bounced back to full energy upon hearing that she wasn’t the offensive one. But she was still rather annoyed to find that the said offensive one was still part of her team.

“Oh…! So it’s his fault?”
She asked, pointing at her now-astonished partner. She frowned, turning to him.
“See? I told you to change your nationality! Now you’re just digging yourself deeper and deeper into a pit of unlucky!”

Rydel blinked.
“But I—“ He began.

Seven cut him off by pulling him closer to her—which wasn’t hard, seeing as she was still clinging to his arm—and covering his mouth with her hand.

“No speaking! Your accent offends people!”
She snapped.

Will raised an eyebrow at their bickering. Damn she could change moods fast! But who was she to argue with what Seven was saying. With a deadpan-glare she said, "Yoou h'ard 'er. Yer accent offends people. Noow le's see 'ere." she took on of the tickets from Cypress. Looking around, she was able to figure out the general direction of where their boat was docked.
"T'is way." she said, motioning for them to follow. She was pretty good at making her was around ports. Her hometown lied on the coast, so she was familiar with them. Sure enough, she found their boat only a few minutes later. That seemed to brighten up her day ten-fold! She ran onto the boat and found a seat at the bow.
HER SPOT!!!
'Awwww doo A feel bettar a'ready!' she sighed to herself in relief. She couldn't wait to get out to open water. She missed the sea dearly! It was exhilarating to finally get back to it! To feel the salty air, she'd finally get that seawater spray in her face again. It was almost like baing back home!
'If oonly Kayne wa're 'ere...'

________

Seven released her partner after a moment, once the boat came into view. She had a very short attention span, you see, and upon seeing the boat something else occurred to her. That was a boat, right? Because it had to be a boat. If it was a ship, she couldn’t get on. Women couldn’t be on ships. It was terribly unlucky. Horrible things happened to ships with women aboard. They crashed, or caused storms, or everyone aboard got seasick. So it had to be a boat. She pulled yet another chart out of her shirt—this one with only pictures of boats and ships rather than various physical features—and began to check the boat for telltale signs of shipish-ness. It looked like a boat to her. Good. She smiled contentedly and replaced her chart.

Rydel frowned, but didn’t say anything. He was used to Seven’s antics. However, he couldn’t pretend not to be a little put off by Will’s comments. Still, he wasn’t going to show it. Not worth it. Instead, he’d focus on the mission and attempt to ignore it.

“Wait a moment.”
He said, following Will and Seven to the boat while he addressed them both.
“Before we take the time to enjoy the scenery, we need to plan this out. First off, we need to figure out how long the trip to Brazil will be. We can use that time to prepare a strategy. We can’t risk wasting a single second. Then there’s also the matter of speaking with the locals…does anyone know any Portuguese?”

Better to plan now than to lose sight of their goals and fall flat once they arrived. This wasn't meant to be fun, after all. It was a mission. Serious business.

Will sat cross-legged on the bow. She was giving Rydel a small, exhasperated scowl. "Whoo tha hell would we be speakin to? Here's tha plaan: We goo in, faind t'is Kishin-egg, kill i' n' get oot." Honestly, did they need much more of a plan than that other than figuring out the enitial battle strategy?

"Since t'is is gonna involve faightin, wa're gonna need ta l'arn a few t'ings aboot each othar. Fer star'ers, 'ow well will ar weapons an' faightin' stailes wark toget'er an' 'ow? Caipress is me weapon, she's a Pipe-Tomahawk. Which onena yoou's tha weapon an' wha'?" she said, taking on a semi-official tone.

Rydel was careful to stand away from her. Close enough to be heard, but not close enough to be within biting distance should the perpetually-drunken girl decide to do on a murderous rampage. And he certainly didn’t miss that scowl. He really hated it when people looked at him like that. Rydel prided himself these days with being fairly mellow, and not easily excited—well, as long as there weren’t any historical figures or authors around—but he hadn’t always been that way. And when anyone besides Seven—whom he knew never really meant it—mocked him, or glared at him, or anything in that vein, he was reminded of a time when he’d get those looked a lot more often.

Yes, Rydel loved school, but school hadn’t always loved him. And as much as he loved to pretend he was long over any bullying nonsense that had happened when he was a kid, he really wasn’t. It felt silly though. Other people had real problems. Maybe they were abused, or came from a broken home, or had some other horrible memories flitting around their consciousness, and those memories were their Achilles heel. His own was simply ‘being made fun of’ after having been called four-eyes one too many times. So he was determined to deal with it in the most formal, impersonal way possible.

“That’s a brilliant plan if you’d like us all to be killed.” He snapped, his tone very dry and bitter at this point.
“There’s more to destroying a Kishin egg than just storming in with guns blazing like some kind of psychopath.”

He paused, looking at the ground for a moment and then back at Will before finishing with;
“And to answer your question, I’m the weapon. Seven is my meister.”

Seven chose that moment to enter. She’d missed that conversation. In fact, she’d missed everything. Her single-mindedness had prevented her from noticing anything but the boat during those last few minutes. One had to give her some credit. She was obsessed, but she was certainly dedicated.
“Okay guys, we’re safe! This is definitely a boat. For a moment, I was worried, but it seems as if we’re in the clear. For now, at least. But if at any time during our journey I decide that this is in fact a ship, be prepared to jump out and swim the rest of the way. Otherwise we’ll all burn in hell for upsetting the great mistress of Luck, and let me tell you, that is not how I’m going to die.” She said.

Her glare grew darker. "Don' yoou be snappin a' me!" she barked. 'Great, no' oonly is 'e a Brit, but 'e's got 'is cacks in a knot!' Even when Seven had come back with that wonderful news, she kept her glare on Rydel.
"Soo yer a weapon, wha' kaind?" she asked again, firmly.

"Will," Cypress reprimanded in a harsh tone, "Rydel has a point. We've only been partnered for barely a week and only ever been in training matches. This is our first real mission and we can't afford to take any chances."

The ocean air seemed to bring Cypress back from overheating as she regarded the group with a skeptical gaze. She gave Rydel an apologetic smile, "Sorry about her," she nodded in Will's direction before glaring at her partner in a frightening mood shift. "They don't have interpersonal skills where she comes from."

Cypress's smile cast a rather icy aura over the bow of the ship boat.

"I'm afraid I don't speak Portugese either, but I don't think it will be serving us too well in the inevitable chaos of the festivities..." she continued, returning to normal, "On the other hand, Kishin are supposed to be drawn to large numbers of souls, so it shouldn't be too hard to find when we're standing in a city-full of Kishin bait. I don't actually forsee any difficulties outside of fighting the darn thing."

She nodded, making up her mind.

"Besides! Mr. Death said to call him once we reached Brazil, so he'll probably be able to give us some more information on that later."

...Of course, from what she'd seen of Death back in the City, she was being very, very optimistic. Still better than getting everyone upset about it before they've even left the States, though...

To this, Will greatly took offense. "OI! WE KNOOW 'OW TA GET ALONG WIT' PEOPLE JUS' FAIN WHAR A COME FROM!!" she said the last few words spitefully, jabbing her thumb at her chest for emphasis.
"A jus' 'ate bein' barked at bai some feckin uptaight b***h wit' 'is clackers up 'is a**!!"
With a sneer she added, "An' A knoow wha' tha carcumstances ar, t'at bein tha reason A was askin wha' kainda weapon 'e is! Soo A could a' least fig'r oot 'ow we maight faight t'is t'ing!" She pulled her guitar from behind her. "Doon' talk ta me laik A'm some kid!" she growled, more to herself than to Cypress, as she tuned her guitar.
She was muttering something like, 'tch, amaracans... t'ey anestly t'ink t'eyre tha frien'liest folks ta 'ang aroond? Least we doon' welcome ye into tha country bai runnin ye through security ten taims whar e'ry one mistrust tha ot'ar...' and on and on.
The aura cast over to her partner wasn't icy, more like the pounding waves at the Cliffs of Moher against the rock.

'Taking the high road... taking the high road... being mature... being the level-headed adult...'

Cypress's stay-calm mantra would have appeared to have worked, if her smile hadn't looked like it'd been carved out of solid concrete... also the small trail of smoke leaving her mouth was a bit of a giveaway.

"Maybe I wouldn't talk to you 'like some kid' if you didn't speak to our new partners as though they were the scum of the earth." she spoke slowly and with some difficulty. Any sort of animosity towards others would immediately trigger her mother-hen nature, she'd get disproportionately upset and usually make things worse.

She was infamous at her sister's elementary school.

"I'm sure you and Rydel both have very good ideas... and we have a long shi--boat ride ahead of us, so let's all just stay. calm."

It was pretty obvious by the grit teeth and slow speech that the "stay calm" was mostly intended for Cypress herself.

Will just burst out laughing; an obnoxious, hearty, true-as-blue laugh. Quite honestly, this little face her partner was trying to hold out was just ******** hilarious to Will!
"Fer God's saake, lass! Yer warse t'an me mot'er an' yer younger t'an me!!" she chuckled.
"An' technically A was oonly talkin ta 'im like 'e was 'tha scum o' tha 'art'! Which- as far as A care- 'e could be!" she said with a shrug. She cursed at her guitar when she couldn't seem to get the note to tune right.
"But doon' maind me! A'm jus' tha one wit'oot 'intarpersonal skills'" She was obviously still ticked off about that.
Then she took to heart the part about 'sating calm'..... and started digging through her pocket. She stuck as cigarette in her mouth and pulled out a lighter. After lighting her smoke, she shoved the lighter with the letters 'RIRA' etched into the metal back where it came form. With the cig held between her teeth, she played away. Her fingers moving as fast and as skillfull as humanly possible. The sound was loud coming from such a little amp, but it was beautiful! Amazing! Stunning!
Screw whatever the hell was going on in the outside world! Will once more put all her heart and soul into those notes and let them sing out over the ocean. She was leaned back against the rail, she didn't even seem to register that anyone else was there anymore.... and it felt damn good.
