Basically, I still have about 2 months of membership at a gym I hate (contract doesn't end til April dang it), but in the mean time I promised my boyfriend I'd go there frequently to at least try to tone down until we can exercise together.
However, well, I hate it. For the main reason that the people there are stuck up pricks that look down on me. These people in the mean time I should ask about an exercise plan, because just running on the treadmill for an hour isn't paying off. ._.;
Any ideas for things to do there? ;o; It's got a variety of objects to exercise on, and I'm mainly looking to lose weight, not tone up yet etc. The bicycles there are.. extremely tiring though (I can normally cycle about 2 hours without any difficulty and there I'm exhausted after just five minutes of cycling regardless of the setting/speed x_x), and... well most weight lifting apparatusses confuse the living daylight out of me as far as correct way goes. ._.;;;
can anyone help along with some basic stuff? times, calories to lose, etc?

Running for a hour does not work? Are you looking to lose weight, or to tone up?

 If you plan on working out for just an hour, I would say warm up on the treadmill for 20 minutes, switching between fast-paced walking and running. Then do various weight machines for 25 to 30 minutes, try to get through enough so that you have targeted most parts of your body. Then finish off with 10 to 15 minutes on either the treadmill or an elliptical. That's what I usually did when I went to the gym.
Switching between cardio and weight training is the best way to get the fastest toning/shaping results.
