Working with your partner is integral in this setting, so don't leave yours hanging without reason. Please post if you're going to be away and if so, for how long.
If you are AFK without warning for more than five days, your partner will be allowed a new teammate. If you come back and your partner's still up for it, you can pair up again, but be warned; inactive accounts will be banned if you forgo posting for too long.
