Anansi: -bats at a glowstick, its glow faded but still visible, her rump up in the air-
Kayden:: -feels a sudden touch being applied to his tail- Huh? -quickly glances over his shoulder at a curious girl.- Um, hi. You look like you're having fun with my glow sticks. -chuckles before turning around completely and taking his seat again.-
Anansi: -swings to look up at him, her blue eyes wide, but a grin crosses her face as she pulls her hands back- Ooh, sounds dirty. -giggles and offers a hand, nails long and painted in dayglo orange- I'm Anansi... Are you a raver-boy?
Kayden:: -smirks at Ruki and shakes his head.- It's quite alright. I don't think she'll break anything. -turns his attention back to the girls hand and shakes it politely- Hah, you're a cute one, Anansi. I suppose you could call me a raver boy. I'm Kayden, though. Nice to meet you.
Anansi: -smiles between the boysm pleased to have such attention, then turns to Kayden, his words reaching her- Oooh -clasps hands together as she gives an excited bounce- Maybe you could take me to a club sometime?
Kayden:: Oh, haha! A club, huh? Well, perhaps I can show you a club sometime. -gives her a very cheerful grin as he swishes around his fluffy tail, giving a little light show.- I'd be so lucky to escort such a beautiful lady.
Anansi: -giggles, watching his tail flick to and fro, the glow bright. Transfixed for a moment before looking up at him, meeting his gaze- Me? Beautiful? -looks away, blushing a little bit- Maybe cute... Not beautiful. Now you... You're a piece-a-work pal! -tugs on her brightly-colored punk bangs and giggles again- Kayden... -ponders the name- I like...
Kayden:: Ah, but you see, all girls think they're less than what they actually are. You're a gem, Anansi. -gives her a toothy grin while shoving his hands into his pockets.-
Anansi: Really? -tips head to one side, her large ears flicking back for a moment- Hmm. Well thanks! Are boys like that too? Do you think you're cute? Or beautiful? -returns a grin at his smile and feels special all of a sudden. She sticks her hands in her pockets too, standing beside him and looking at him, watching to see how he'd react- Because I think you're beautiful, too... -giggles and looks away-
Kayden:: -Gets a good laugh at her compliment.- Well, thank you. I like to think I'm more handsome than beautiful, though. Hehe, I find beautiful to be a feminine trait. I know what you're trying to say, though, and thank you very much. -eyes her as she stands in a similar stance.-
Anansi: -his laughter rings in her ears and she shoots him a playful grin- I get whatcha mean. You are. Handsome, I mean. Wanna get a bite to eat? I mean...I'm a great trash-raider... -looks up at him knowingly-
Kayden:: -finds her words amusing, yet strangely charming.- Thanks, again. I really appreciate your kindness. -tilts his head at her wanting to get a bite to eat and cant help but nod quickly.- Oh ya, you betcha. I'm starved. Think you could maybe find something decently fresh?
Anansi: No problem, pal. And fresh? But-of-course! -squeaks and dances a little- Come with me, Kayden! -darts off with a wiggle to her rump, tail in the air. She heads down the alleys, finding the back of an italian shoppe, jumping into the trashcan and pulling out a styrofoam container of spagetti drenched in sauce, the meatballs longgone from the top- Aha! -grins down at him- Wanna join me? The water's great!
Kayden:: -is a little taken back by her little dance and couldn't help but laugh at how silly it was.- I'mma comin' -He chased her tail and watched from below as she began to dig through the trash. When she came up with a box he quickly hopped up to her level.- Oooh, wow, you are good. This looks great, Anansi! -licks his lips at the food.-
Anansi: -carefully hands the box down to him, then hauls herself out of the trash- C'mon. Let's find the perfect place to eat. -claps her hands and grins at him, then dances off, expecting him to follow. Finding an abandoned table in front of a cafe, she pops up into the seat and grins down at him- C'mon, Kay!
Kayden:: -carefully handles the food while she climbs her way out.- Heh, right behind you, Nansi! -laughs at her as he quickly follows her, quick with his steps. Once she was seated her joined her, placing the box down in front of them and popping it open.- Mmm, it looks delicious. We can dig in now?
Anansi: -grins at the nickname, wondering if maybe she's got a new friend as they sit down to eat. The box pops open and a big serving of spagetti stares up at them- Mmmm... It doeeeees smell delicious! Dig in! -she picked up a fingerfull of noodles and drops it into her open mouth. Mmmm.
Kayden:: Awesome! -scoops up a hand full of noodles and sauce before munching at it, getting his mouth all covered in the deliciousness- Mmmm, it's like heaven. I haven't eaten this well in a while. Thanks Nansi! You're amazing. -continues to stuff his face-
Anansi: -secretly loves the nickname he's given her, grinning from ear to ear- Good! Just think what kinda trouble we could get into together... -blushes a little, hoping he won't take that...dirtily, and continues to eat- Kayden and Anansi...
Kayden:: -smirks at the way their names seem to fit decently- Ya, we could get into tons of trouble I bet. Is that what you do with your spare time? Do you get into trouble a lot, Nansi? -he tisks at her while wiping some of the sauce from his lips.-
Anansi: -places a finger to her lip, looking thoughtful, though she shot him a smirk- No... Not all the time. I'm good at trash-surfing... I've been chased a few times. But I can't steal. I feel too bad to do it. What about you, Kay? -takes another bite, enjoying his company-
Kayden:: -nods happily- Well it's good to know you have a conscience. -finishes off with a few more bites and sits back rubbing his stomach.- Mmm, well... I guess I do what I gotta do to make a decent life for myself, but I try to do so without harming others.
Anansi: -finishes as well, stretching out on the chair and grinning up at him- That's smart. I don't aim to hurt anyone... I just wanna have a lil' fun. Wanna have a little fun, Kay? -tilts her head to one side, bangs in her face-
Kayden:: -smirks at the girl as she hides behind her colorful bangs.- Heh, perhaps some other time, Nansi. -stands up from his sitting position and gives her a little wave goodbye.- I'm sorry to eat and run, but hopefully we'll run into each other really soon. -offers her a playful smile.-
Anansi: -giggles- Alright. Glad...to have met you, Kayden... Really, it was really nice... -clasps her hands together, twining her fingers before hopping off the chair- I'll see you around then!
Kayden:: It was, wasn't it? I'm already looking forward to the next time we meet. -chuckles at his honesty and hops down from the chair.- See ya, Nansi. -He walks off to find his next friend-
