It was a calm cloudy day. No rain was said to happen so Nicole decided to take Melody to the toystore to get her a stuffed animal or such.... maybe some fun little cuddly friend for herself as well. She was just as much as a kid as any child despite her age. Holding her daughter's hand being careful not to get cut by her claws and entered the building.
Melody stay close with me okay? I don't want you getting lost in here." She said to the small spawn who gave a nod. "'Kay Mommy. Can we see the teddy bears now?" Nicole have her a nod and guided her along the store to where the plushed animals and dolls where as Melody swished her tail slowly side to side. All the young woman could hope is that she will not rip the toy's head off when she gets mad after they bought it.

"MIIIIIINE!" Cecilia's voice rang out, followed by a crash in the aisle they were in.
Vanhi let out an agitated huff on the toy store floor, looking very defeated under a pile of stuff animals that were stacked on display. Cece had grabbed a teddy bear identical to the one she had at home and tried to run off with it, and when her guardian chased her, the display was knocked over by the spawn's running. Vanhi could've sworn it was on purpose, though it was silly to assume a toddler would try something like that.
Then again, Cece came with her own hammer for defending her possessions.
"It's not yours, it just looks like it! Yours is at home," She tried to explained for the zillionth time, but the tiny purple haired girl just looked at her adopted mother on the floor and squeezed the bear tighter, making Vanhi slap a distressed hand over her face.

They were not in the aisle for a minute when the scream and crash happend. Nicole made a freaked yelp from the sudden noise while Melody turned and rushed over to see what happened. "What was- Melody! Where did you run off to?!" She yelled and looked about for her little wrath/kindness spawn lifting some toys nearby thinking she was hidden under them somewhere.
While her mother looked in her startled and worried state Melody was over at the fallen display and toys. She lifted and looked about to find out if anyone was trapped under the small amount of toys. "Any one hewr? Who fell and srceamed?" The little spawn called out and looked till she spotted the purple haired spawn and her mother. "Did yew fall?" She asked trying to make it over some of the toys.

"I'm fine," Vanhi said in a groan, the athletic woman running her fingers through her shaggy, short hair before lifting herself up, shrugging of what plush toys had setting on top of her.
"Mommy's a klutz," Cece giggled but then hardened her gaze to a glare when Vanhi stepped closer, protectively clinging to her bear tighter, knowing the adult had every intention of taking it away. "It's mine!" She proclaimed again, not having heeded the explanation that her bear was home and this was just it's identical twin. Vanhi slapped a hand over her face, wondering what she was thinking taking a greed spawn to a toy store.

Melody watched the mother and the little girl. The girl seemed to like the bear she has and was not gonna give it up so easily. "Maybe yew should get it four her. She wikes it a wot." Melody gave a nod to her answer. She did not understand why she could not have the bear. It was cute little bear. She would not mind having a bear like it and would not give it up if she could not have it. Turning her head to Cece she asked "Yew like the teddy bear?" pointing at the toy in the spawn's hands.
Nicole was still looking for her little spawn in the lost of the toys. "Maybe she is in a different aisle. That might be it." With that she walked over to the next aisle searching for her Melody

"It's already mine," Cece said with a huff and giving her foot a little stomp.
"Nooo," Vanhi said, trying to go over this explanation of again, "Yours is at home. This place just sells more that look just like it."
"Liar!" Cece accused and tightened her grip on the bear enough it looked like it's head would pop off. Unfortunately, diligence combined with greed meant she wasn't going to give up on the things she wanted. She gave Vanhi a short glare and then looked over at Melody, almost suspiciously. "What are you here for?"

Melody looked back and forth from Cece and her mom. Not really wanting to get into the argument if the bear was her's or not she answered the spawn's question. "I am hewr to get a toy plush. I want a teddy bear and mommy said she wood get me one. It my first time hewr. Why yew here? You getting a toy plush as well?" The little wrath and kindness spawn looked about though the fallen toys seeing if she can find a teddy bear that will make her happy. Picking up a stuffed pink bunny with a ribbon bow around it's neck she shook her head and tried to stuff it into a shelf she could reach. "Don't wike this one." Her tail swayed softly as she looked for a different toy in hopes of a teddy bear she will love.

"Mommy said if I was good she'd buy me a new toy," Cece said proudly, holding her head up high. Vanhi was brushing herself off muttering something like 'still doesn't explain why we're here.'
Cecilia huffed and sighed a little, staring at the teddy in her arms and pursing her lips, thinking hard, toying with the notion of letting the little girl try the bear in her arms since she had it's twin at home.
But the greed spawn only toyed with it. "Hey! how about that one?" She asked, pointing to one in the pile of the fallen display with extra fluff and a little plaid bowtie.

The kindness spawn looked over to where Cece pointed and made her way over to the pile. She searched about for a second then picks up the one Melody thinks she pointed out. She liked the fluffiness of this one and the little bow was cute. "I see bout this one. Wets see if ter are other bears." With a nod she looked about keeping hold of the fluffy bear in hand. She did not want to lose it in case she did not find a different one she liked better. "What toy were you thinking of getting? What you like?" She asked the spawn. Maybe she could help look for something she liked. Maybe a pretty doll or something like that but she may have found it in the bear she held in her hands.

"...Well," Cece said, looking around innocently. "Pretty much all of them. But Momma says something like 'I'm not made of money' when I bring it up. I don't know why because obviously people can't be made of money." She shrugged a little and walked to the end of the aisle, peeking around and seeing a sight that made her blue eyes go wide.
"Whoa..." She mumbled, staring at a caged stack of bouncy balls that dwarfed the little tot.

Melody kept the bear in her hands as she listened to Cece. "Wow! So you like the boy stuff too?" She said in a kinda shocked and excited as well. From what she could see about her she seemed like the type who will like all girly things. "Yea. I see no money on mommy either. I came for a bear. Think mommy came for one too." She looked over and saw Cece peeking around the corner. "What yew see?" She called then made her way to where her friend was still carrying the bear ,at lest she thinks she is her friend, and peeked around and saw the ball cage. "Wow! Wook at all the balls!" She ran as fast as her little legs could carry her to the cage and looked at them all then to her clawed hands and back at the balls with a sad look. Her clawed fingers made playing with some toys no fun at all. Even the fun bouncy ball before her.
