the elder scrolls is the name of the game series not actual people that the games are named after even though there is an elder council they are not referred to as elders V.V

The Die Has Been Cast

The elder scrolls are documents written every fifty or so years by the blind moth priests. They are not referred to at all until the fourth game, Oblivion, where your objective is to steal one for the Gray Fox, king of thieves. It is also mentioned at the end of the main quest when martin becomes the avatar of Akatosh and defeats Mehrunes Dagon.

The Elder scrolls Oblivion is a roll playing game made by Bethesda Softworks. It's a first person RPG style game where your character assumes the role of the savior of the empire against the demonic hordes of Oblivion. It's the forth game in the Elder Scrolls series, with the fifth coming out in the fall. It's a very in depth game, and I'd highly recommend it if you like RPGs.
