As a new member of this guild, I decided I should make a thread of some sort. I had to contemplate to myself what the thread should be about... Wonderland obviously, but most threads start with a question.
And I'm very good with questions.
I also thought of getting a formatted post style, but that really has nothing to do with this thread, so I'll leave that out.
Here's the question...
What poem from 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' or 'Through the Looking Glass' is your favourite?
Mine would be 'Jabberwocky', not only is it my favourite Looking Glass poem, but it is my favourite in general. A nonsense verse that makes more sense to me every time I read it.

Agreed - Jabberwocky, hands down. I had to remember a poem to recite when we did our poetry unit in 8th grade and that was my poem of choice, lol The requirement was only two four line stanzas, so imagine my teacher's reaction when I said, "Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll." Haha

Going to have to say it's the Jabberwocky. Memorized it in 6th grade. Other than that, I liked the Lion and the Unicorn one. Just cuz I'm a total Unicorn Buff.

I am going to say the lobster quadrille is my favorite. Though I do love both Jaberwocky, and the Walrus and the Carpentar.

Speak roughly to your little boy, And beat him when he sneezes: He only does it to annoy, Because he knows it teases.

Just have to say I'm starting to pay more attention to 'The Lobster Quadrille' due to the new song version on the 'Almost Alice' soundtrack (you can sample the tracks).
I really like that clip and want to hear the whole song.

I want your love and I want your revenge...Definitely the Jabberwocky. It's my all time favorite poem and I actually have it on one of my walls in my bedroom right next to my computer so I look at it every time I'm on. ...I want your love, I don't wanna be friends.Help me get Goti Clips and an OMFG?Ask Me Anything You Want

Jabberwocky is also my favorite! Not only is it the best poem but in my art class we had to make a paper mâché version of how we thought the Jabberwock looked.
