Orange's Characters: Akiko Sarandon Age: 16 Gender: Female Race: Human? Technician or Weapon: Technician Partner: Katsuya Jonouchi (Weapon) and Spirit (weapon) Bio: Akiko keeps to herself a lot, not because she doesn't want friends, but because she's always been that way ever since her two closets friends were sent away. Though it's pretty hard to miss her, her fruit hipster style can't be missed. Despite being quite now, she's actually pretty outgoing and energetic. And despite her weak form, she is actually strong. Not as strong as others, but what she lacks in strength she makes up for in speed. She takes soul hunting seriously and works hard at it. Unlike some other new weapon she has to deal with. She claims she's human, but she has a thin blue tail who many think is just fake. Personality: Smiley, fun, ambitious, tends to joke a lot, can be loud at times, still a little shy, sensitive, a little childish, sometimes rather strange. Malik's hatred for the Pharaoh grew more and more until he finally took off to settle the score with him. Because of his confined childhood, he has a lot of insecurities that he hides with anger and bitterness. However, he is a lot more calm then Marik. ((I suggest this:
Marik: We call him Malik. Yami Marik: We call him Marik.
That's how it is for the fanfic writers, I think.))Hawk's Characters: Lerena Leigh HelenaAge: 16. Gender: Female. Race: Human Witch. Technician or Weapon: Technician. Partner: Renoko. Bio: She is a witch who became a technician at Shibusen in order to spy on the students. To do this, she had to train herself to put on the personality of a good person. Since she hates most of the students at Shibusen, she prefers to be a quiet person there. She is very close to her weapon, Renoko. The two are actually of blood relation. Lerena has her own agenda on what to do and will even kill one of her kind in order to gain something she craves and desires. She does not care who dies in the process of her obtaining power, and yes, even love too. She is a witch who specializes in materializing simple objects and sometimes shapeshifting. There are pleasant sides to her personality for those who care enough to look past her evil traits. She always needs a creative outlet, like singing karaoke or writing novels. Unlike most other witches, she has a sense of loyalty, but like other witches, she will do anything to obtain what she wants. Personality: Obsessive, mean, vengeful, devious, easily bored, excessively blunt, sadistic, hateful, and a twisted sense of humor. There's a side that few people get to see of her: an entertaining, persistent, creative, interesting, loyal, and slightly sensitive person. The only one she frequently socializes with in public is Renoko. Appearance notes: Dark purple fingerless gloves and one gold armlet around each upper arm. She has a scar across her left hand, on both wrists, across her throat, and one along her left thigh. She has a spider scar burned into her back. Text color: Medium Purple. Renoko Mai HelenaAge: 17. Gender: Female. Race: Human. Technician or Weapon: Weapon. Type of Weapon: Black spiked mace. Partner: Lerena. Bio: Renoko is the person who can see past Lerena's evil heart and see her pleasant traits. Her sister is afraid of loss and is a very disturbed individual. Though she desires love, her existence as a witch makes it near impossible to find it. If Renoko were to suddenly vanish, Lerena would likely lose it all and vice versa. Renoko watched in horror on that day as two witches from Lerena's childhood dug scars that would last a lifetime. These witches hated Lerena and caused her to change into the complete opposite of who she used to be. But this incident caused Renoko to develop respect for her sister and since then their bond has been unbreakable. During Lerena's torture, both their minds warped into something evil and twisted. They've been comrades together in darkness for ages. As much as she hates to admit it, Lerena became stronger because she received those scars. Like Lerena, Renoko also has a pleasant side to her personality. She is a good friend when she is convinced she and her sister won't be betrayed. In her opinion, every one of her friends must like her sister or they aren't compatible. Personality: Violent, twisted, hateful, vengeful, cruel, hard-working, persistent, wicked, and dark. Appearance notes: Long, black fingerless gloves. Text color: Indigo. Death the KidAge: 17. Gender: Male. Race: Shinigami. Technician or Weapon: Technician. Partner: Liz Thompson (weapon) and Patty Thompson (weapon) Bio: Since he is a shinigami, his father told him it was unnecessary for him to wield weapons. However, he wanted his own weapons. Instead of the usual 99 souls and one witch's soul, he has to collect 198 souls and 2 witch's souls. He is obsessed with symmetry. Personality: Obsessive compulsive, loves symmetry, observant, attempts to do everything perfectly. Appearance notes: He has three stripes on one bang, which drives him nuts every time someone mentions it. Text color: Black. Maka AlbanAge: 16. Gender: Female. Race: Human. Technician or Weapon: Technician. Partner: Soul. Bio: She almost made Soul a Death Scythe, but unknown to both her weapon and herself, their witch was actually a cat. In order to make Soul a Death Scythe, they must start over from scratch. At least she can trust Soul to always be by her side. Personality: Serious, hard-working, studious, loyal, and protective. Appearance notes: None. Text color: Green. Yuugi Mutou (left)Age: 17. Gender: Male. Race: Human. Technician or Weapon: Technician Partner: Atemu. Bio: An incident occurred to separate Atemu and Yuugi and bind them together as weapon and technician. From now on, they'd have to work together to obtain 99 souls and 1 witch's soul. This was new to both of them and definitely unlike dueling, which was their previous profession. Personality: Shy, persistent, caring, and optimistic. Appearance notes: None, but he is vertically challenged. Text color: Medium Violet Red. Atemu (right)Age: 5,000 (dub), but 3,000 originally. Gender: Male. Race: Spirit now human. Technician or Weapon: Weapon. Type of Weapon: Whip. Partner: Yuugi Mutou. Bio: An incident occurred to separate Atemu and Yuugi and bind them together as weapon and technician. From now on, they'd have to work together to obtain 99 souls and 1 witch's soul. This was new to both of them and definitely unlike dueling, which was their previous profession. [[Ok fixed everything, I'm going to start]]
"Ughhhhhh I hate this..... why can't I be teamed up with someone responsible?" Akiko said as she stopped running in the hallways and looked around. Her dog who stopped with her, whimpered and barked lowly at her. Akiko looked back down and smiled, "I don't mean you girl," giving her dog a pet. She then crossed her arm and used her other arm to tap her forehead as she thought. "If I were a lazy bum, where would I go?" she said trying to think outside of the box. She had assignments piling up because she couldn't find her new other weapon, Jonouchi. "I should just go without him, I've been able to hunt before with just you. Shouldn't be that much different," she said to Spirit again. Spirit wagged her tail and panted as if agreeing with her master.
Both Malik and Marik were in class at the moment finishing up a test. And as usual, Malik was taking it seriously while Marik really didn't care. The only reason Malik took it seriously was because he liked new things. After being in a tomb all his life reading the same things over and over again, he was grateful for new material. However, that didn't mean he made it look like he was enjoying it. Still made him angry when Marik didn't care. "You're grade reflects my grade as well you know," he whispered and sniped at his weapon.
Marik only completed about two questions so far while Malik was almost done with his test. They had to learn how to fight right? Why the hell were they sitting here taking a meaningless test? He sat back in his chair with his hands behind his head. He peeked over at his technician and rolled his eyes. "Stop being a goody-two-shoes, you're making me sick," Marik replied with a smirk on his face. He pushed back on his chair so that only two legs were on the ground.
Malik snarled at his weapon. God damn a*****e he was. Sometimes he really couldn't stand his mouth. The two of them usually fought like brothers, sometimes worse. But at least he protected him when he needed it, most of the time. Pissed about his comment and not doing his test, Malik swept his foot kicking the chair leg, resulting in Marik falling backwards off of the chair. Once on the ground Malik smirked at him on the ground and said, "Next time do as your told." A few kids chuckled when Marik fell over in his chair, but Malik paid no mind to them and went back to his test.
"She's a god damn nut Soul, I'm tellin' ya," Jonouchi said basically hiding from his new technician Akiko and hanging out with his fellow class mate Soul. "All she ever wants to do is work work work. She never just wants to take it easy and like, I dunno, socialize?! Maybe people wouldn't think she was so weird if she actually talked to another human being instead of her dog," Jonouchi ranted. He really hated this change, after all he was with his friend Honda.
Soul just smirked as he listened, "Heh, that doesn't sound very cool. Who is this girl again?" Soul was chillin out before Maka got back. The two of them sitting on top of the skulls outside of school. "Yea but, didn't you guys suck at a team? With that Honda dude?" he chuckled a little.
"See, that's not the point. We would have been ok, we just need practice you know? Honda said he couldn't 'wield me right'," he said. He leaned back against the wall and crossed his arms, "Not my fault he unleashed my power and 'destroyed' a statue in the school."
"Yea but, you don't practice," Soul said joking with Jonouchi.
Jonouchi looked over at Soul with a stupid glare, "Bah! What do you know? Anyway, how you let yourself be controlled by a girl? It just ain't right you know?"
Soul sat back and put his hands behind his head. He chuckled a little and said, "How do you let yourself be such amateur? Totally not cool man." Soul was actually very loyal to his technician and didn't care that she was a girl or whatever. Jonouchi was talking a lot of nonsense like some stupid freshman. But it wasn't going to get Soul mad, not at all.
[[Nothing for Patty or Liz yet]]

Atemu finished his test with a breeze and handed it in. He looked at his partner with a satisfied smile and walked back to his seat. His technician finished before him, but then again, Yugi had taken tests before. Test-taking was still new to the former pharaoh and he didn't know what it was like until today.
"How'd you do Other Me?" Yuugi asked with a returned smile. He still thought of Atemu as his yami. They were still bound to each other and they couldn't be separated for long or else they'd die. As long as they remained in the same building, they'd do okay. However, they were basically still connected. "I'm not sure if I passed my test." he explained. "This technician stuff is new to me."
"I'm sure you did fine, Aibou." explained Atemu. He smiled reassuringly and then noticed Marik falling out of his seat. He raised an eyebrow. That pair didn't seem to do well under the pressure of test-taking. One seemed serious and the other one seemed to be slacking off completely. Paying attention to the work in front of them was important, but perhaps they just functioned differently when it came to obtaining the souls.
Kid was also busy taking his test. It was his usual struggle to make a symmtrical K. He didn't make a good-looking K so he kept freaking out. Not only did he have ten minutes left, he hadn't even completed the first question! He was still on his name. He constantly erased his paper until finally it tore. Instead of being normal like everyone else, he shrieked in complete horror. Then what happened? He fainted.
Maka heard Kid scream in horror as she was busy finishing her test. She studied hard so she was sure she'd make the highest grade. Why did he have to scream so loud? That was really annoying. Upon finishing her test, she stood up and handed it to Dr. Stein. She walked out of the classroom to meet with Soul and Jounouchi. "Hey, Soul! I'm finished." she called when she made it outside of the school.
Lerena heard Kid scream and snickered sadistically in her head. It came out as a childish giggle in reality. If she showed these fools who she was, she wouldn't get very far, would she? She struggled to finish her test and finally she finished it. It was torturous doing this with a time limit. She couldn't focus with everyone's stupidity killing off intelligent brain cells. Her weapon finished before her, because naturally she could finish tests quickly. It was amusing seeing Marik fall out of his chair, but she let her laughter get lost with the others. As a witch, her laugh was probably one of the loudest in the school.
"Finished, Sister?" asked Renoko smoothly. She was waiting at her desk and saw her sister stand. Kid's screams amused her as well, but she just let out a soft chuckle.
With a nod in reply, Lerena turned in her test to Dr. Stein. He was perhaps the most tolerable here, that she knew of. No one at this blasted school tried to get to know her. They thought she was anti-social. Once Renoko and Lerena reached their dorms, they began to speak to one another about the school itself. The door was wide open for anyone to overhear, but the two girls were confident that every student was busy with their classes and missions.
"That was nonsense!" Renoko retorted. "Why are we not out obtaining souls? We have to build an army of death weapons and take over."
Lerena nodded. "I agree. This school sucks a lot. I don't know why it's even still standing. All anyone does is study and take tests. The missions are stupid. We haven't gotten a single one lately. What is Shinigami-sama thinking?" she asked.
"I have no idea, Lerena. What are you asking for?" she asked.
Lerena smirked. "Why is it always 'take down the evil souls'? Why can't we take down 99 human souls and 1 evil human soul? This world is overpopulated by stupid people." she explained.
Renoko chuckled. "You know as well as I that we can't have it all at once." she explained.
"I'm just bored. I want some entertainment." Lerena explained.

"Amateur?!" Jonouchi said shaking his fist at him.
Soul looked down to see Maka looking for him. Without another word to Jonouchi, he stood up and leaped down to his technician. Landing smoothly on his two feet and his hands in his pocket, he smirked at Maka. "Cool. Can we go out on an assignment now?" he asked eager to try and collect 99 souls again as fast as possible.
"Bah! Who needs you anyway ya whipped little punk," Jonouchi said lowly to himself as he took the rest of the room to lay on his back and cushion his head with his hands. He'd just remain hiding until he knew his friend's were out of class. No point coming down until then.
Liz was already done with her test, it was a snap. She was inbetween Kid and her sister Patty. She had to keep an eye on Patty, she had a bad tendency to either daze of or doodle all over her test. Last time she managed to make a giraffe out of her paper. Liz facepalmed a little bit as she thought about it. With Patty's crayons in Liz's possession, she just had to keep her concentrated. As for Kid, same thing happened every time he was given a test. He couldn't get past the first letter in his name. At least he was able to write "Death the". "Let me just write your name so you can do the damn test," Liz whispered but before she could get a response, Kid had already torn his paper and fainted. Liz facepalmed, if it wasn't for his father being Shinogami-sama he would have flunked out of this school by now.
Patty wished she was doing something else other then this test. Liz was being mean and not letting her have her crayons so she couldn't even draw or anything! This test was so stupid. She continually gazed out the window, wishing she was playing or even better, eating. Or maybe having a picnic! Oh today would be a great day for a picnic! She could make all her favorite food and they could put it all into a basket. She would even make extra in case Maka or Soul wanted to join them or anyone else. Sadly, her daydreaming came to an end when Liz told her to concentrate on her test. She grunted and continued. When Kid screamed and passed out from the test Patty blurted out laughing at him. He always did that but it was always funny!
"You'll regret that later, Malik," Marik said climbing back up. He glared at the students laughing at him- which made them instantly silent themselves.
Malik simply chuckled at him, "Yea sure." He finished his test and handed it into Dr. Stein. "Come'on, we're done," Malik said as if commanding his weapon.
Marik rolled his eyes and followed his former hikari. While walking past the other students, he gave an especially evil glare at Yuugi and Atemu. He couldn't wait until he became a death item. The two of them were off to their own dorm since they had no current assignments. "When do you think we'll get to fight again?" Marik said impatiently.
Malik shrugged, "How should I know? Whenever Shinogami feels like getting with the program and giving us something."
"Maybe he's just scared of us/ Scared of what power we would possess," Marik said smirking.
"Maybe just scared that your already huge ego would get bigger," Malik said joking. As they walked the hallways he heard talking from time to time. But he heard a certain set of words that left him curious. He stopped and when Marik went to ask him why he shooshed him, gesturing with his finger. "I heard something interesting," Malik whispered.
Marik crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. "Who cares? What is it this time? Conspiracy? Something against you? Someone 'figure us out?'" Marik taunted. Malik was always paranoid about people talking about them and constantly tried to listen in on people or spy on them.
"No not that," he whispered back gesturing this time for Marik to keep his voice down. He was interested in hearing someone talk about taking 99 human souls and one evil human soul. The idea was interesting none the least. But more importantly, he found it amusing. Since Marik seemed to start to walk away from him, he started to walk with him.
"Well if you're so curious...." Marik said as he passed the door the voices came out from. He smirked deviously at his former hikari, "then ask them yourself!" He instantly took his one arm and pushed Malik into there room. There was no doubt that Marik was a lot stronger then Malik, so it was easier to push him around. Especially when Malik wasn't expecting it. After wards, he laughed and ran away from the scene, sure to anger his partner extremely- he wanted to get as much space between him and Malik. He told him he would get him back.
Malik didn't expect Marik to do that at all. Infact, he didn't realize what had happened until after he stopped tumbling and was laying on Lerena and Renoko's floor. From that angle, it was very easy to see up their skirts. Of course, Malik ignored that. He sat up screamed out the door, "MARIK YOU ******** a*****e!!!" He attempted to get up and run after him, not bothering to apologize at all. All that was on his mind was beating the ever loving crap out of his partner.
Akiko continued to search. She had already taken her test earlier today- she thought she would have the whole day to catch up on assignments. Instead, she was searching for her other weapon. She ran to the class room and opened the door, looking to see if he was there. See he wasn't she rolled her eyes, why would he be here? She closed the door and continued else where. At the entrance of the building she finally plopped down on the floor and put her hands on her forehead. "This is so stupid," she said finally giving up. She stood back up and looked at her dog. "Let's just go, I've wasted half a day looking for him. I'm just going to go out and do this on my own with you," she said. Spirit wagged her tail, seemingly ready to go. She left the school ready to get some work done. "Doesn't bother me anyway, I'd rather work on you becoming an ultimate weapon anyway," she said to herself and her dog.

"That's what I was hoping we could do." Maka said with a smile. "I need to make you a Death Scythe as fast as possible." She was also eager to go on an assignment. It was her dream to be a good technician just like her mother so she had to work hard at it. "Let's go look at the mission we've been put on." suggested Maka.
Yuugi blinked when he caught Marik's glare. He exchanged glances with his former yami. "That was weird." he said. "Let's look at the assignment we were given."
When Atemu caught Marik's glare, he raised an eyebrow and looked at his aibou. His question caught his attention and he abruptly stood. He followed Yuugi to the assignment board. "There's some evil human souls being guarded by a witch. We need to catch the souls from that place." said Atemu. "Think we can do it aibou?"
"Of course, Other Me. Let's do it." said Yuugi with an encouraging smile.
"Well, the witch is in downtown Domino City." Atemu added, noticing the location.
"Maybe Shinigami-sama still doesn't trust us." said Renoko.
"Or maybe Shinigami is a giant piece of ******** s**t." Lerena retorted. "Wait? Did you see that? Someone's here! OH s**t! OH. s**t! WHAT IF SOMEONE HEARD US?! We could become prey to the fools here!" she said to Renoko.
The weapon slapped Lerena and looked at her. "Calm down." Renoko advised. She looked at the technician that had just entered the room. "Well, well, well, aren't you a hot one." she observed. "Why don't you date my sister?" she joked with a bloodthirsty grin. The joke was actually pretty serious. She wasn't stupid. She knew her sister wanted him, whether she realized that or not.
She felt her face and stared at her sister in shock. "Say that one more time and I'll make it impossible for you to reproduce." said Lerena. Since Malik may have overheard their conversation, she couldn't let him off the hook so easily. He seemed to be ready to escape. This was her chance. She closed the door, locked it, and then blocked the exit. She pushed Malik against the wall and pinned him there. She licked her teeth sadistically and looked him over. "How much of that did you hear?" she asked.
"I don't even want to reproduce." Renoko told her sister with an annoyed glare.
"Shut up, Sister. I'm busy." Lerena shot back.
Renoko smirked. "Let's hope he didn't hear too much, because if he did, we're screwed."
"No." Lerena said with a second's look at Renoko. She closed her eyes while still keeping Malik pinned.
"What? You're just going to keep him pinned there without doing anything? Something's wrong with you." said Renoko.
"You know what, Renoko? You can go ******** yourself." Lerena retorted. She looked back to Malik. Was he annoyed by their bickering?
"I'm just sayin'. You're not doing a very good job at being a witch." she shot back. Lerena would never know how much that comment hurt her.
"I'd like to see you do a better job. Why did you just spill my secret?! This is very serious, Renoko!" Lerena snarled.
"Excuse me? I thought you were proud to be a witch, oh mighty Lerena-sama." said Renoko sarcastically.
"I am proud to be a witch. I just don't need any technicians or weapons learning that I am one." Lerena said irritably. "I'd prefer you just shut up!"
"He doesn't look like the type that will spill your secret to everyone and their mom." said Renoko.
Lerena eyed Malik some more. "Were you listening? You better not tell everyone my secret. I don't want any of the students here to learn that I'm a witch."
"I really don't think he gives a s**t." Renoko remarked bluntly.
"Don't make me come over there, Sister!" Lerena retorted again. "I'm an enemy to Shibusen purely because I'm a witch. They don't understand our kind! Shinigami is a worthless piece of crap! He wants witches dead. It doesn't matter if they're good or evil." she explained to Renoko.
"If this technician was stupid enough to let himself get pushed in here, maybe he isn't as guilty as you think he is." Renoko pointed out. "As for Shinigami, you'll just have to make due with him until I become a death weapon." Renoko remarked.
Lerena glared at Renoko again and the room fell victim to silence. This gave Malik time to comment and reply to her question. She was looking at him again, but this time her attention remained on him.

Soul stayed quiet and nodded. Even though Maka was basically all work and no play, he wanted to become a death scythe as well. Man, that would be so cool. He could only imagine how powerful her would become. Soul nodded and followed Maka into the school to the assignment board. There were already two students there, they practically looked like twins. Kinda reminded him of Liz and Patty. He put his hands in his pockets and stared at the board. "Heh, which one you want to work on?" he asked his technician. He didn't really say anything to Yuugi or Atemu, not to be mean or rude, but simply because he didn't really know them. And randomly talking to someone like that was kinda weird to him- unless of course it was a chick or something. But then Maka would just get mad. Why? Not like he was going to do anything with the girl. Sometimes women just didn't make sense.
Akiko and Spirt walked past Soul and Maka- not really paying mind to them. She never really paid any attention to anybody at the school. Not because she didn't want to, it was because she was rather shy. Coming out and conversing with someone was really hard for ever since her two friends 'vanished'. They went missing on their last mission- though Akiko tells others and herself that they simply just transferred. It bothered her dramatically, but she suppressed it enough to believe nothing bad happened. Her first mission was in or near Domino. She took out her notepad where she already wrote down her missions. It was on the border of Domino and the next town over. She planned her day out so that she would make one big circle- nothing would be 'out of the way'. She left the front gates and onwards.
[[I forget, was the school in a different dimension where they entered and left a certain way to get there or leave? I may need to edit the end of Akiko's post.]]
Jonouchi saw someone leaving the school. Ah, it was that girl. Good. Once she was gone he jumped off of the skull, landing on his two feet gracefully like Soul did. He patted his clothes to straighten them out as he smirked at himself- quiet proud he was able to avoid her completely. His friends were probably out of their class, he could go meet up with them without any fears of miss bossy pants. Jonouchi entered in the school and looked around. It wasn't long until he found Yuugi and Atemu. "Yo!" he called over to his two friends as he met up with them. "What are you two up to? Wanna hang out or something?" he said.
"Always slacking," Soul murmured with a smirk but it was loud enough so it could be heard. He paid no mind to Jonouchi scowl that followed.
Malik almost stopped dead in his tracks when Renoko spoke her suggestion to date her sister. He looked back at her with a sweat drop and murmured, "What???" It was enough to distract him for Lerena to close the door and lock it. Wow she was fast! Next thing he knew it he was pinned against the wall. He was rather shocked to initially fight back- he was trying to let his mind catch up with everything. "What?" he said at first. Finally he came to and narrowed his eyebrows. "I heard somethings," he said being vague and quite stubborn. He raised an eyebrow curiously, were they hiding something? "Rather suspicious aren't you two? Can't help but wonder what your hiding now," Malik said smirking.
Malik was completely calm until Renoko said that Lerena was a witch. His eyes widened for a moment. What the hell was a witch doing here at the school?! He then took his arm and swung it around knocking both of her arms away from him and grabbing both wrists together and pinning them above her head against the wall. "A witch, eh?" he said staring deep into her eyes. Inside, he really didn't know what to think of it. He didn't really want to take her soul, he guessed because it seemed too easy. "I wouldn't say that I don't give a s**t. It's an interesting fact to know. As for going after you, well, I wouldn't completely throw the idea away, but for now you can rest. Still, doesn't mean I won't use it to my advantage," Malik said smirking a little. "Word of advice though, don't you ever let my weapon know, or he will kill you. He's well, crazy," he said. Malik was a big talker and always felt like he had to be in control of a situation. Where in reality, he felt he didn't have control right now. He was without his weapon against a witch and her own weapon near by. It was instinct to try and instill fear into her.
In reality, he almost felt bad for the witch being here. It was practically a death trap for her. But it wasn't like she was forced here, there had to be a reason why she would do something like this. And of course, after coming to that conclusion, he felt paranoid. What was their reason? Was it something against him? Couldn't be, they don't even know him or what he and his weapon were planning to do. "So why are you here? You better tell me or I'll tell the whole school what you are," he said trying to blackmail info out of her.
Patty finally finished and handed in her test. "All done Liz!" she said with a big smile.
Liz was hoping Kid would come out of it by the time Patty finished but to no avail. She sighed. "Ok, you grab one hand I'll grab the other, looks like we have to drag him out, again," she said. She stood up and took his left hand as Patty took his right. They dragged him out of the classroom and to the lounge.

((I don't know. A different dimension may be easier. By the way, this is how I write at 5 AM.
Atemu and Yuugi have short posts, because this post is long enough. x.x
Being so tired has clouded my judgment. What I would have normally deleted from this post has remained in here. If you haven't posted by the time I get up, I'll probably edit out the bad parts. Don't let this stop you from posting though.))
Lerena's eyes widened as the tables turned on her and Malik now pinned her to the wall. No man had ever overpowered her so easily. She stared into his eyes, completely surprised by this turn of events. Instead of helping her, Renoko seemed amused and wanted this to continue for a little longer. There was no reason she couldn't worm her way out of this. Yes, she hated just about every student here, but her intentions were fairly childish really. She didn't want to kill any of the technicians here, but she also didn't give a s**t about them. She didn't bother to struggle as she listened to him ramble about what he wanted from her. Struggling for her meant she was showing off how physically weak she was. The look in Renoko's eyes was psychotic and the smirk on her face gave her bad intentions away. She wanted her sister to fall in love? What the ********? No. Surely she wouldn't allow for this.
"I doubt your weapon could be any crazier than my own." Lerena remarked with a second's glance at her sister's expression. Why was she amused by all this? Was she entertained by it? "You hear a few colorful words and you interrogate me?" Lerena asked with a lick of her lips. "I do believe we could make a deal. I'll tell you why I'm here. To make sure you don't voice my secret to your weapon, why don't I offer up my services?" she asked with a smirk. "Let me explain to you why I'm here first, then I'll get down to business." She was always an outcast. A couple of witches did everything in their power to make sure Lerena was miserable until she killed them. Lerena killed those witches that abused her so long ago. The problem was that they were among the best and to be hated by them meant that a witch was hated by everyone else.
"I've never gotten along with the other witches. My personality doesn't mix well with them. For one thing, I'm not afraid to kill off my own kind. They hate me and I hate them. At first, I thought about redeeming myself. I'm just not like them." Lerena explained. She closed her eyes. "I had to get away from the other witches so I retreated to Shibusen, the one place they can't get to me. I've been a murder target to them for ages. I'm only here until my powers fully awaken." she continued. "A group of witches killed my parents; a witch and her weapon. Now this school is all I've got." Lerena added. She thought back to a week ago when she discovered the dead corpses of the only people who had been protecting her. It was quite the sight.
"Don't go any further, Lerena! You've told him enough." Renoko finally spoke with confidence that she shouldn't say anything else about her past. "If you want to know why we're here, it's to spy on these students. Lerena's here for friendship and hopefully to find romance here. She's no different than any ordinary human girl. All she wants is a life of happiness. The witches have taken that from her." said Renoko with a hand on her hip. "If you don't believe us, then my sister's services should be enough to keep you quiet. We want to see who we'd like to befriend here. So far, no one's passed the test." she explained. She looked at her sister and observed her position. "If you'd like to know anything else, feel free to ask." she stated. She still didn't move from her standing position. It seemed she was interested in seeing what would happen next.
"Any minute now, there could be a witch's attack on this place. Their objective is to kill me right now." Lerena remarked. "I think the technicians here are quite good even if I don't like most of them." she commented. "No witch can shatter Shibusen's defenses. I'm safe here for the time being. Now, why don't I make it worth your while to keep my secret?" Lerena suggested. She thought about a fitting service that she could offer. She refused to do chores for the sake of a man, but she needed an ally. Someone to protect her. Would it work? She licked her teeth sadistically as she thought more about her position. If this didn't work, they would have to reach a compromise.
She seemed to hesitate, as if wondering whether she wanted to make this proposal. If she wanted her secret to be safe, she had no choice, right? What if he declined? He apparently liked being in control so what reason would he have to refuse this offer? Finally, she spoke. "I'll serve you until your weapon becomes a death weapon. However, in return, I want you to be my friend. I know it sounds stupid, but I'm lonely." Lerena said sadly. She opened her eyes to look back at him. Why was she the one feeling defenseless? She could shapeshift and make him think it was another student that was the witch. She looked over to Renoko. What were the consequences of the proposal she just made?
"You can't be serious, Lerena." said Renoko. "You want to serve the man who may possibly end up killing you? You have the upper hand here." she pointed out.
"What choice do I have? I don't want to become the hunted. I'm the enemy to everyone. I'll do anything to have a friend and I'll do anything to belong somewhere." said Lerena. Sadness and torment could be seen through her eyes. To anyone who looked deep enough, one could see that she was truly in need of someone to be there for her. Once again, she closed her eyes. She remembered the day when those witches made her an outcast. It almost made her want to cry. Lerena didn't cry, of course. If she did, it would just make her seem pathetic. Wait, she was. She let out a small snicker. "I feel so pathetic. I'm asking for a friend from this school. I doubt I'll get one."
"Lerena, this isn't the time." Renoko remarked. "Let's just overpower him and possibly...Lerena?" She was shocked to see the glare in her eyes.
"Don't make me come over there, woman!" Lerena snarled. "You have no idea how dangerous it is for me to be here. My very existence here could get me killed. One wrong move and I'm dead! Why the ******** do you think I'm offering to serve him?!" said Lerena. She didn't want to sound pathetic, but...these memories. She was so unstable now that she didn't care what happened to her.
"Damnit, Lerena, calm down! Unless Shinigami is a massive p***k, I don't think he'd let you come to harm. Just don't go killing anyone on the spot for looking at you strangely." Renoko advised. She seemed to care less that her sister was raging. "You'll have to excuse my sister. She can't function normally since those witches carved those scars into her."
"Oh, go to Hell, Renoko." Lerena ordered.
"I vacation there. I'm a regular occupant." Renoko remarked sarcastically. "I'll be in the kitchen fixing dinner. Just scream if you need me." she said.
"How are you such a ******** b***h?!" Lerena asked her sister. "Stop being useless and come over here!"
"Oh, hell no." said Renoko. "After what I said, you'll want to skin me alive." she remarked with a sadistic grin.
Lerena glared at Renoko. "I wouldn't be so unstable if you weren't such an a**."
"You'll thank me for this later." Renoko promised. She left the room and ignored her sister's orders to return.
"I can't believe my weapon just ditched me!" Lerena voiced out loud. She smirked at Malik and let out a dark chuckle. "It's sort of funny. You were ditched too, weren't you?" she asked. "Renoko and I may be close, but we're still sisters. In any case, please...be my friend." Lerena said. "I'm not always this pathetic." she confessed. "Renoko just hates seeing me talk about other witches. It's an emotional topic for me. You wanted to know why I'm here so I told you truthfully. Congratulations. You now officially know more about me than you ever need to know." she said with a dark smirk. She looked away from him as if expecting some type of rejection. It wasn't like her to act like this, but she somehow cared about his opinion. How foolish. She was going to ask for his friendship? Of course, she really did want it. But it wasn't like he had anything to gain but her servitude. She prepared herself for him to say no.
Renoko walked to the kitchen. Why did her sister give in so easily? That wasn't like her! She punched the wall. Why was she offering to serve him? Her foolish technician wanted to give in that easily?! She was weak. "Ha! Why should I care about her well-being? If she wants to enter a life of servitude, so be it!" she whispered to herself.
Kid woke up in the lounge. He looked at Liz and Patty. "Liz, Patty. I couldn't make a symmetrical K. It drove me nuts!" he confessed. Suddenly the thought occurred to him that the painting in the living room was lopsided. He had to go check! "I think the painting in the living room might be lopsided. Excuse me while I go check." said Kid. He got off the cushioned sofa and started on his way home.
"Let's work on the one at downside Domino City." suggested Maka. "I really want to do that one." she said with a determined look on her face. She made a note of the location and looked at her weapon. "What do you want to do after that?" she asked him. She ignored Atemu and Yuugi, because they weren't really friends of hers. She didn't know them at all. All she knew was that they were new to Shibusen.
"Hi, Jounouchi." said Atemu with a smile. "Yuugi and I were about to go on a mission. Want to come with us?" he asked. "We want to do the one at downtown Domino City."
Yuugi nodded. "That one seems interesting, because it's supposedly near Kaiba Corp." he said.

Malik kept his eyes narrowed when she first started to speak, questioning his interrogating. However he raised an eye brow when she said she would offer up her services. What could she possibly offer him? However, he listened to her story and reason. The more she told her story to him, the more he became interested. Even his paranoia was being set a aside. Perhaps because he was used to being around those who didn't understand him. She stood out from her people, Malik stood out from his family. Though he didn't show interest, because he had to keep a strong front, he still was taking in the story. Yet, something showed in his eyes for a moment when she mentioned about her parent's being killed by the other witches. He may have stood out from his family, but he still felt a bond with his family. And in a way, he killing the Pharaoh would not only free him and his family- so just because he left them didn't mean that he had forgotten them.
After Lerena explained, Malik left go of her wrists and let her be. However, he was still being as cautious as possible. "Spy?" he said glaring a little bit at Renoko. He didn't like that at all. He had his own secret agenda that he didn't want anybody else knowing. Not to mention, Marik's own secret desires- which in a way Malik didn't even want to know or admit. He looked back at Lerena, her wants were things he wanted when he was younger. Things that he had long forgotten about. Now all he really thought about was revenge.
In a way, he thought it was interesting that the other witches were going to possibly attack the school. He'd like to see them try, because he too knew a lot of the technicians here were powerful. The witches would have no chance in surviving their own attack. It was a clever idea on Lerena's behalf to take refuge here. Of course, he wouldn't openly spare a compliment. Not now.
Malik's eyes widened for a moment. "Serve? As in battle?" he said initially, "or serve as in anything?" Believe it or not, he really didn't want a servant. Sure he was used to being around Odion who was their family servant. But Odion was more like a friend, like a brother. A brother who also tried to dictate what he should and shouldn't do. No, not again. Her serving him in battle made more sense to him. However, did he really need it? In his mind no, but to keep her within his control, of course he would do it. "You can serve me in battle yes," he said in a plain stern voice that he usually used. He looked a little confused when in return he had to be her friend. Other then his sister and Odion, he never really had a friend. He didn't really consider Marik as his friend.
Before responding, he witnessed both Lerena and Renoko bicker about her choice. It was entertaining to say none-the-less. He looked back at Lerena and said, "My weapon is a complete ******** dickhead most of the time. Doesn't surprise me one bit." Malik sighed for a moment considering everything that just happened. "Fine, I'll be your friend. But really your wasting your choice on me. I don't have any friends nor have I ever had any friends. Never really set out to befriend anyone. And to be quite honest, you'll find that I'm quite an evil individual," he said. He wasn't sure how this was going to fend out, what were they supposed to do as friends? Certainly couldn't be like his and Marik's relationship together. Perhaps like how you would treat a family member?
There were multiple exits to enter into the real world from the Shibusen school. From the outside world, they were just ordinary object. Akiko came out of a broken mirror in an abandoned shop. It was one of her favorite exits because nobody ever used the exit or entrance. Not only that, but when she was younger she thought there was another world on the other side of a mirror. In a way, she was right. Spirit soon came jumping out of the mirror. Akiko knelt down and looked at the clock that was on Spirit's collar. "Ok, where is this target...." Akiko said tapping the clock. All of it's arms stopped then pointed in a direction. "South of here?" she said standing up and looking in the direction. "Ok let's go," she said first getting out of the building. She had been studying this particular target for a while now. A vicious brute who, to normal people, seems like a decent fellow. What they don't know is that not only does he abuse animals, but he has been slaughtering them and either stuffing them as taxidermy pieces or selling the bones to skull enthusiast. This guy had to go. He would be leaving work soon, for lunch. He took the back alleys to a nearby cafe. It would be his undoing today. The alley was nearly ever used, it was a perfect spot. Only a few more minutes and he would be right about the corner. Akiko and Spirit waited in the shadows, patiently.
Jonouchi looked at Atemu and smiled, "Yea I'll come along! I got nothing else to do. It's way too boring here." Jonouchi looked at the assignment Yuugi and Atemu choose. He laughed a little, "Heh, maybe it is Kaiba," he said jokingly deviously. "Alright, let's get out of here. I don't think I've ever seen you two fight together," he said interested if his two friends were any go at it.
Soul let Maka choose whatever she wanted, he never really had any problems with her judgment. He took a look at the missions to choose another one. "We can take another one that's right by there. Should be easy enough. Afterwards we could always just chill," he said suggesting to stop after two. He wasn't lazy like Jonouchi, but he did like relaxing as well.
[[wanna hold off on Liz, Patty, and Kid for a while? I don't know what to do with them.
Also, geez 5am? O.O when do you sleep? haha. Plus what time do you go to school?
I hope this post is ok, I kept getting distracted from it, especially toward the end of Malik's post and all during Akiko's post T.T ]]

((I'll hold off on Kid, Liz, and Patty for awhile. I don't really know what to do with them either. I'm at school from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM. I go to bed by 6 AM most of the time. Your post is fine. I was distracted a lot of the time yesterday and got carried away with my last post. xD))
"That sounds good." said Maka. She walked down the hall to one of the many entrances. She waited for Soul then went through a portal. A portal opened through someone's wall and she saw it before stepping through. It was a strange entrance that wasn't really like the others. Not many portals opened through walls, but this one did. She appeared on the other side in Domino City. "Alright, it should be a couple blocks over." said Maka. "It's probably in an alley or something." she pointed out.
Atemu chuckled. He didn't think it was that boring here, but his friend was extremely lazy. "I wouldn't count on it being Kaiba, Jounouchi. It's probably an evil soul that's going after Kaiba." he remarked. He walked down the hall with Yuugi and Jounouchi. "This mission should be interesting. We'll be protecting Domino City from an evil human."
"Jounouchi, shouldn't you be with your new partner?" Yuugi asked. "What convinced you to hang out with us instead? I thought you would be intereted in becoming a death weapon." he added. It didn't surprise him that Jounouchi preferred to hang out with his best friends. His new partner was probably a buzzkill if he wasn't working with her. This worried Yuugi. What if he was purposely avoiding his partner? That wasn't good.
They came to the entrance to Domino City. "Let's go then." Atemu said.
It was quite obvious that she was thinking the question over. Her intention was to serve as in anything, but he didn't seem to want that. Battle was more important to him. To be honest, she was never any good at fighting. Her magic was basically her defense before she came to Shibusen. She lived off deceiving others and she still did. Shinigami didn't know she was a witch. Even if he knew, would Renoko be correct in saying he wouldn't do anything? No. Her personality was far too dark for him not to. "Of course I meant in battle." Lerena lied. "I can't believe you didn't know what I was talking about. I'm no one's servant. Although," she began, "I'm pretty good at exacting vengeance too. I've had years of practice." explained Lerena.
"Look. You may think I'm looking for mushy bullcrap and you may think I'm weak, but there's no point in lying to you. I'm not looking for anyone's shoulder to cry on. The only person I trust besides myself is my weapon. She would never betray me. What do I want from you? It's simple. We protect each other in battle, nothing more, nothing less. I'm also willing to hang out with you, but it's not a requirement. When I ask for friendship, I don't need bullshit that Renoko can already give me. When she's my weapon, she can't cover my back the way another technician can." explained Lerena. She looked into his eyes. They were beautiful. Wait, what? She snapped back into reality. She took a moment to reflect on Malik's comment about being evil.
"I might be an outcast, but I'm still a witch. Don't confuse me for the heroic type. I'm just as evil as any other witch. I just have more desires than most do." Lerena explained again. The more she looked at him, the more ridiculous she felt. Even though she finally had what she wanted, a friend, what were they supposed to do? They likely differed in interests and he didn't seem interested in small talk. "If you are interested in a discussion, you can stay here. If you're not, then why don't you go and catch up with your weapon? I don't need him cutting off my head." Lerena remarked sarcastically. She looked up to see Renoko returning to the room.
"Did he answer your cries for friendship?" Renoko asked with a smirk.
"You can go ******** yourself." Lerena remarked darkly.
"He did? That's interesting. Maybe I can get some alone time while you two hang out." Renoko suggested.
"I just got through telling him that all I needed was his protection in battle. I didn't ask for anything else." Lerena retorted.
"I see." said Renoko. "It makes our job as technician and weapon more difficult if you don't associate with anyone here." she remarked. "I was thinking of befriending that OCD kid. I looked at his paper and he was stuck on his name. You can't more obsessive than that."
"Renoko, cheating is rude." Lerena remarked. "What happened to only befriending people who liked me?"
"This is one of those friends that I'll be speaking to during my free time. I was already done by the time I saw it. I wasn't cheating." Renoko said truthfully.
Lerena turned to look at Malik again. "I'll see you on your next mission, whenever that is. Renoko, did Shinigami give us any missions yet?" she asked.
"No, he's still being a bore." answered Renoko. "I crave some souls and some excitement. There's really nothing I want more than a nice bloody battle." she explained.
"I'm sure. I could use one as well." said Lerena, raising an eyebrow. She then awaited a response from Malik.

[[jesus christ I hope I can get through this post.... major freaken fight between my friends on a forum (for our gamer's club) and it was a whole lot of bullshit and I wasn't at the computer to stop it sicne I was out all day (I'm one of the mods) Are you in college? Those sound like college times. I guess that makes sense. Are you an insomniac? Or your sleep cycle is just that way? Just curious]] Jonouchi snapped his fingers jokingly, "Darn!" he joked about Kaiba not being the evil soul. Jonouchi followed the two and smiled, "Yea none-the-less it sounds a little interesting." He looked over at Yuugi. He knew that if he told Yuugi the truth, or said he simply didn't want to work with her, he would get yelled at by his friend. And worst part would be that Yuugi would be right. "I dunno, didn't see her all day. She's probably studying in her dorm, being anti social, being strange," he said making up something vague. He put his hands on the back of his head and smiled a little, "Eh, I have all the time in the world to become a death weapon." Jonouchi was such a slacker, he couldn't help it, he liked having fun instead of working.Akiko tapped Spirit's clock again so that it was like a clock again. It was time, he had to be coming soon. She stayed as quiet as death and waited. Finally, she heard someone coming. She peeked the corner, it was him! She took a deep breath and shut her eyes for a moment. She then came out from the corner and confronted the man. "Diabolist Benedict DarkHeart, I've come for your soul," she said acting serious about the matter. Spirit came out to her side. The man walking the alley stopped. He looked up slowly at Akiko and smirked. " Eh? Are you some crazy escaped from the ward?" he said trying to play it off. "Don't act naive, you know who you are and who I am so drop the act. The crimes against animals are just as heavy as those against humans. THEY have not turned a blind eye to your desiccation. You can stop hiding now," Akiko said. She summoned Spirit to become her bladed fan.The man simply laughed at her. " No crime has been done. They were nothing but inferior beings. If you want my soul come and get it. But when this is over, I'll take that dog of yours and skin it alive to make my trophy." The look on the man's face changed and became demented. A symbol on his head formed, the kanji for 'evil'. The skin and muscles on his hands melted away exposing the bone as they extended and sharpened like blades. Part of the skin and muscle on his lower jaw also melted away, exposing bottom teeth that were pointed and bloodied. " Come at me," he mocked her. Akiko growled but put it past her. She launched at the evil soul and swung her fan as hard as she could. The evil soul dodged the attack completely. The two of them attacked one another always to have the target dodge. Akiko was very good at dodging, being as acrobatic and quick as possible. [[holding off on Soul for a post, not sure what to quite do with him at the moment]] Malik smirked a little when she said she was good at exacting vengeance. Perhaps he could consult her on such matters, but not now. He didn't want to give away too much of his own information. Seemed to him that Lerena really wasn't a push over. She said she wanted a friend, but she seemed to toughen up and say that she really only wants protection. She said she didn't want 'mushy' bs which was good because he didn't know how to give that, even if he wanted to. However her reasoning in battle, that made perfect sense. "Just remember, you're the one serving me. You're protecting my back as well," he said so she wouldn't forget. He hated to admit it to himself, but he kinda liked the idea that he was protecting someone, mainly because she was a female. Not that she needed it and not because he was chivalrous, perhaps moreso because there was a meaning to doing something. He didn't know, he didn't bother thinking about it further. When she looked into his eyes he almost felt a bit intimidated. He didn't know why. But it didn't last for long, she turned away from him quickly.
Malik chuckled a little, "I'd like to see just how evil you are. I guess I'll see that come out when we are in a battle together," he said with a smirk. Malik looked at the door then closed his eyes for a moment. He opened them back up and said, "<******** him, he knows the way to our room. I spend too much of my time around him anyway. I'd rather stay." He then looked at her seriously and said, "I'm serious. If you want to live, you won't even mention it to him. He's not like me and he won't think twice about killing you. Obviously, I'm not going to tell him."
Malik took a seat on the couch as he listened to the two girls bicker. Funny, they fought with each other almost like he and Marik fight. Except Lerena says that she cares about Renoko very much, Malik cared for Marik like a person cares for a hernia. He pointed at Renoko, "Renoko," then he pointed at Lerena, "Lerena," making sure he got there names down. "Don't believe I told you my name yet. In case you don't know it my name is Malik and my a*****e of a partners name is Marik. Off by one letter and hard to tell the difference I know," he said. Most of the other students knew the two to be brothers just as they knew Yuugi and Atemu to be 'brothers'. Explaining otherwise to everyone would get them locked up in the looney bin. And so, he kept that a secret too. "I could go for a fight too. Haven't gotten one in a while now. Things are getting dull," he said.[[EDIT: To better explain Akiko's weapons, I'm linking you to two old pictures. One is of the fan (which she has two of) and the other is how the dog looks (basically). The guy you see in there is my b/f's soul eater character, just ignore that. Although it's good reference for the clock on Jonouchi's chest (only appears when he's turning into a weapon). Also the clock, when not being used by Akiko (Muse, w/e) spins irratically. Also, ignore the button thing, blades fold and unfold at will. ((I attend Night School so my hours are different. I'm actually in high school still. I'll be in university soon though. If I progress with my driving enough, I can start college in the fall.
I won't be posting as Maka this time since there's nothing for Soul.))
Atemu nodded. "Well, that's rude." he remarked. "She apparently doesn't know how much of a great friend you are." Atemu said. He was actually pretty skeptical about the reasoning that Jounouchi gave. Why would Shinigami pair him up with someone who never went out on missions? He decided not to press the issue. It wasn't nice to doubt a friend. "Your situation is different from mine. Yuugi wants to make me a death weapon as soon as possible." he explained.
"Hey, don't act like you don't want that too." said Yuugi quickly. He listened to Jounouchi's explanation and blinked. His partner wasn't interesting in going out on a mission with him? "Would you like us to find her and set you two up for a mission?" Yuugi asked.
He raised an eyebrow. "Of course, Aibou." he said. He agreed with Jounouchi. If his partner was still here, there was hope that his partner and them could work together. It would be a nice experience.
He went through the entrance and came out on the other side of a bush in the Domino City park.
Renoko and Lerena snickered at his comment about Marik knowing the way to their room. "It almost makes me want to make it as hard as possible for him to enter." she remarked. "Almost is the key word here." added Renoko. "Lerena will keep it a secret so you best keep it as well." she said darkly. "Dinner will be ready soon."
"When my powers are finished developing, I won't need Shibusen." explained Lerena. She wouldn't need Malik either when her powers awakened to their fullest ability. "If you want to know how evil I am, it'll be difficult if we're just hunting evil souls. Malik, huh? I like that name." she said.
"Are you proposing we take a pure human's soul?" asked Renoko with her arms crossed.
"No. I suggest we murder someone and let whoever else take the soul. We won't be the ones getting in trouble." Lerena said with an evil smirk.
"Interesting." Renoko said. "Although, you are aware that Shinigami is a p***k? He'll probably know what we're up to."
Lerena smirked at Renoko. "You think so? He's pretty busy nowadays if he can't even assign us a mission."
"Good point." she said.
"About dinner. What are we having?" asked Lerena.
"Parmasan-covered spaghetti with meatballs." said Renoko. "I have to go finish cooking it. After dinner, maybe we should think about going on our own little mission." she suggested.
Lerena smirked as her sister left. It didn't surprise her nor Renoko that he knew their names. They constantly referred to each other by name and sometimes by their relation to one another. She sat down on the couch. "I suppose we could get to know each other while she's finishing her cooking." said Lerena. "What do you like?" she asked. Was there something wrong with making casual conversation? No, there wasn't. If there was, Malik would've left by now. It still amused her that he preferred being with a witch than his own partner. It was a compliment of its own. Would she mention this? No. She knew better than to tell any technician or weapon that she was a witch and Renoko did too. For lack of anything better to think about, perhaps she just had a feeling that Malik deserved to know the position he was in. The two girls had the power here, not him. Lerena closed her eyes and tried not to think about anything strange. Malik was attractive and it was nice having purpose. They would protect each other. That was the agreement. Having someone like him protect her while she covered his back? It wasn't a bad deal at all. Renoko definitely knew what she was doing and yet her outburst was pretty stupid on her part.

[[ah I see. You'll like college, nobody ever takes the night courses so you should have no problem getting into them if a class offers them.]]
Jonouchi looked to the side for a moment when Atemu called him a great friend. He was a good friend, but he wasn't friends with his partner. "I mean, becoming a death weapon would be pretty awesome. I kinda always did like to fight. But now it kinda feels like homework and school work. And you know how much I don't like those two things!" he said chuckling a little. "Plus I'd rather be a weapon for Honda, we're just better together," he added. Jonouchi's eyes widened for a moment. He then shook his hands and nervously laughed, "Wait what? Oh no you don't have to do that! Hahaha. Besides, you guys are own your own mission right now. Seriously though, don't worry about it," he said. If they tried to talk to her she would tell them exactly what he's been doing, hiding and lazing out. "Ah I remember this park. We should come back here more often and just hang out for a day." They continued on past the part and on the sidewalk past some shops.
She couldn't believe that this was taking her so long! This evil soul wasn't even a top rank! She's defeated other souls stronger then this and much quicker. She felt off and unbalanced, as if she needed that other weapon to bring her balance. But that made no sense, she's fought with only Spirit before plenty of times, never thinking such things. She brought up her fan to block his attack.
The man's attack was blocked so he forced his weight down to try and break her defense. He cackled, "What happened to your justice?"
Akiko didn't bother responding. What was the point? She pulled her weight back as she stepped back, causing the man to loose his balance. Spirit willed the fan to close to a single blade as Akiko rushed him while he was down. She thrust at him, aiming for his heart. However, the evil soul dodged, now Akiko couldn't stop her momentum and was at his mercy. He took her by the head and threw her back against the side of the wall. She gasped a little when she hit, the only thing that stopped her from falling back more were some garbage cans. She stood up quickly so that she wouldn't be open for an attack.
"Did you hear that?" Jonouchi said as he stopped for a moment. He heard it in one of the alleys they were about to pass. Sounded like a fight- he heard a gasp and something colliding into something. Garbage cans? He walked ahead of the group to look down the alley. However, when he did, he saw none other then his partner! He froze, he shoulda ran but he froze. He was in for it now.
Akiko heard something behind her so she looked. Her eyes widened for a moment. "Wha-what are you doing here!?" she said. She turned her head again to see the evil soul rushing at her since she was distracted. She felt her blood boil as she conjured up her power to and swung her fan, opened again, at the evil soul. This unleashed a wave of power that slammed into the evil soul and sent him backwards. Didn't kill him, but set him back.
"Wha-what do you mean what am I doing here?" he said nervously but was cut off.
She looked back at Jonouchi, who was with two other people. Obviously, he wasn't here for her- especially since he didn't know about any of the missions she had. She cut him off before he could say anything, "You know how long I was looking for you?! All day just about! You weren't in your classes, you weren't in your dorm, you weren't anywhere! I told you yesterday to meet with me in the library and you never came!"
"I uh..." Jonouchi said not knowing what to say.
That's it? He had nothing to say to her? Nothing in his defense. Akiko was so angry that her face was starting to blotch red- like blush. She never was very good at controlling herself when she was angry or upset, and she was certainly both. She backed away from him and shook her head at him. "What ever...." she said turning her back to him, she had to finish this fight.
"Well I'm here now if that's what your mad about!" he said hoping she'll just calm down now that he was there. He tried to approach her.
Akiko turned again to look at him when Spirit changed back into her normal form. She arched her lower half and got into a position ready to pounce at Jonouchi. She snarled and growled at him, warning him not to come any closer to her master.
"I'm not mad. And I don't need your help. And if you don't want to be my weapon then go talk to Shinigami-sama yourself!" she said turning back again. She didn't see that evil soul she was fighting. It couldn't have run off, could it? Akiko looked for a while, hoping it wouldn't jummp out at her or be running off.
The word 'dinner' almost put a smile on his face. Both Malik and Marik couldn't cook worth a damn. Usually they just ate sandwiches or tv dinners. And even then Marik wasn't allowed to use the microwave, he just simply wasn't allowed to anymore. However he let out a smirk when he heard their idea. "Murder eh? Well if you really want to I'd know just the person," he said but left it at that. He wanted to know if they were serious- if they were only kidding then obviously he wasn't going to mention it to them. About his and Marik's hatred toward Atemu. They already planned to kill him, they didn't care so much for his former hikari but it didn't matter if he died as well. If Lerena and Renoko really wanted to kill a pure human's soul he would let them take Yuugi. However Atemu was his- the Pharaoh's soul was pure anyway.
Malik was a little shocked he was asked what he liked. Nobody ever asked him that- whether or not they meant it. He also had to think for a moment, what did he like? "Well what do you like?" he asked first. This gave him a little time to think. "I guess I really like reading, anything really. As long as it's something new. I like motorcycles, I have one that I use in the real world. And well, I guess I like traveling technically. I don't like staying in one spot for too long," he answered. He actually considered for a second about telling Lerena about his past. But it would reveal too much about him, and it was something that was quite painful for him so he rather not think about it. "I also like games, you could say," he added.
Soul followed Maka through the town. "Who is this evil soul again?" Soul asked curiously. Usually he didn't care but he was still a little interested about it. Soul smirked for a moment, holding back a chuckle, "How do you think you did on your test? I'm sure Kid had another one of his 'episodes'."
[[I was thinking about bringing back Marik. What do you think?]]

((I'm thinking I want a normal schedule during college, but nothing too early or too late. I'm thinking noon to 8:30ish are good times for classes. I probably won't have it my way very often. XP
Go ahead and bring back Marik. I'm thinking that Atemu and Yuugi shouldn't get this soul. They should be distracted and lured into a trap by Malik and Marik. There, Yuugi can be targeted by Lerena and Renoko. Of course, he has Main Character Syndrome so he wouldn't die. XP Though, I am thinking he's left in an injured state. Probably nothing too serious, but enough to show Malik how evil Lerena is.))
Atemu raised an eyebrow. His friend absolutely despised all homework? Jounouchi thought that fighting as homework and schoolwork was bad? That was ridiculous! He loved to fight. It should be more enjoyable if he liked doing it. He didn't mind some of it. He actually enjoyed most of it, because it was a lot of new information to take in. Upon seeing Jounouchi argue with Akiko, he was in complete shock. In irritation, he pointed out that Jounouchi shouldn't have lied. "Jounouchi! Why did you lie to your friends?!" he asked furiously. Yes, he could tell the girl had a unique style of dress, but why should that matter? Why should anyone judge a person solely on appearance? Akiko was probably a great person to hang out with. This was ridiculous.
"Jounouchi! You lied to us! You said she wasn't out all day and she was busy studying! You shouldn't abandon your partner like this." Yuugi lectured. He sighed, then thought of an idea. "Jounouchi, how about you become my weapon? Shinigami-sama might allow that."
"I don't know, Yuugi. I think Jounouchi should learn how to cooperate with the partner that Shinigami-sama gave him." Atemu explained. "He lied to us and I don't take too kindly to that."
"Oh, come on Other Me!" said Yuugi seriously. "Yes, he lied, but he obviously doesn't want her as a partner."
Atemu sighed. "Fine. We'll talk about it after the battle. We have to look for the soul we came here for."
Yuugi nodded. "Jounouchi, why did you lie to us? I want to know that first. And what's wrong with your current partner?" he asked his best friend.
"You have a target? I hope I'm able to kill him or her then." remarked Lerena with an evil smirk. She listened to him talk about his interests. They didn't seem to have anything in common. How was she supposed to be friends with someone like this? Oh, well. It wasn't supposed to be a relationship or anything. "I like writing, horror novels, karaoke, video games, movies, all types of s**t really. I don't particularly like traveling, but I can't stay in one place too long or I get bored." explained Lerena. Scratch that. They seemed to both like games. "My hobbies include murdering people in very cruel and twisted ways, eavesdropping, punching Blackstar during one of his speeches about becoming the one to surpass God, and collecting Duel Monsters cards." she added. Lerena tried to think of another common question. Family? No. That was too general of a question. Favorite color? That was worse. What about goals...what did this man seek to accomplish? "What are your goals in life?" she asked him. "Personally, my only goal in life is to make Renoko a death weapon." she explained. That was half-true and half-lie. She would not tell this man that she wanted romance in her life. It would make her seem weak, pathetic. That was not who she was. She wanted him to know that.
"Diabolist Benedict DarkHeart." answered Maka. She chuckled and nodded. "I believe I did fine. I studied, after all. Kid did have another of his episodes. I thought it was pretty amusing, but I kept that to myself." She was always the studious type. It was her duty to become a great technician. As they walked down the street, she heard chattering. "Huh? Someone's arguing. Someone from Shibusen?" she voiced out loud. She saw Jounouchi about to be pounced by Spirit and blinked in surprise. Finally, she approached the confused Akiko. "Excuse me. Did you guys see a soul called Diabolist Benedict DarkHeart" she asked them.

[[You should be able to get something between those times. The first ones to go (at least in my college) where the 8am-1pm time range.
That sounds like a good idea. Should Jonouchi be with them when that happens? He could try to fight them but maybe try and go find Akiko so she could use him against them- to help his friends. Also now that I think about it, Jonouchi should have this thing against being a weapon- he'd rather be a technician since he likes to fight.]]
Malik smirked a little. "Horror books are one of my favorite reads. Anything else you like to read?" he asked. He then looked away for a moment, he never really shared his interests before, he felt kinda stupid after wards. "Well I like to travel because I stayed in one spot my whole life," he explained himself. He stopped though, he didn't want to talk more about it. He was never this open with someone, but something pushed him to open his mouth and speak. His eyes widened for a second. "Funny you should say Duel Monsters," he said reaching into his pocket and taking out a deck within a plastic clear case. He put it on the table to show that he wasn't making his next statement up, "Same here. I used to play a lot, you could say." He still carried his deck with him, just because the rules were that he could only take the Millennium Puzzle by winning a game of Duel Monsters against the Pharaoh. Now that events have changed, the ancient rules no longer applied. But he kept them, just in case. "God I hate that Blackstar kid. Thank you for punching him," he said with a chuckle.
"Goals?" he said to himself after she asked. The only one he had so far was his and Marik's vendetta against the Pharaoh. He could tell her, he just had to choose the right words. "I have one right now, I'm seeking revenge on someone. This is a goal both me and my weapon seek. When this person is put to death, I will have achieved this goal. My weapon wants a specific item from this person, but between you and me, I'm making sure it stays in my possession rather then his," he said. "My goal is relevant actually to the target I mentioned before. Both my weapon and I are seeking vengeance on a student named Atemu. You can't miss him, he's the boy with the stupid star shaped hair. There is another one like him, his twin Yuugi- the shorter one. While Atemu is our target, you are more then welcome to take him out. With both dead, one won't tell about the other. It would look like some evil soul killed the two inexperienced students," he said.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door. "Hey, I gave you all enough time to pummel my idiot technician, I would like him back now," Marik yelled so they would hear him inside.
"What the hell do you want?!" Malik replied back to him.
"Get in the kitchen and make me a sandwich! It's not going to make itself!" he said semi seriously.
"Piss off Marik!" he said rolling his eyes at his idiot other self.
"What are you doing in there anyway? Well if it's of THAT nature I hope you have 'protection'," Marik snickered evilly suggesting he was doing something indecent.
"Excuse me one second," Malik said as he got up ready to sock his other self in the mouth. He opened the door and swung at his other self, landing a blow to his face. "Would you just shut the ******** up?!" he yelled at him.
Marik recoiled back from the blow but he only laughed at Malik's anger. "Took you long enough to open the..." he said but stopped. "I smell food," he then said.
"Well your not invited to stay so beat it," he demanded.
Jonouchi bit his lip when both of his freidns yelled at him. Ok, maybe he deserved that. "Hey! I didn't intentionally lie. I didn't do it to be mean or to hurt you guys," he said trying to defend himself. Then he pointed at Akiko and shrugged his shoulders, "See? I can't even work with her. She won't give me a chance."
Akiko raised an eye brow. "Lie? Why? What did you say?" she said turning back to Jonouchi. What did he tell his friends? Was it something about her? She narrowed her eyes at Jonouchi as she heard what Yuugi said, "How would you know what I was doing all day? I didn't even see you! And what do you mean I won't give you a chance? I'm not the one with the problem in Shinigami's decision so don't turn this around on me!"
"You said you weren't mad at me so why are you yelling and making a fool out of yourself!?," Jonouchi yelled back at her since he had nothing else in his defense.
Akiko then saw two other students from Shibusen. The girl asked her about the very same evil soul she was hunting. "Yea, that was the evil soul I was just hunting.... and kinda lost," she answered the girl. Had she taken that long that Shinigami-sama put it back up?
Soul followed Maka only to see Jonouchi, his two friends, and his technician. He didn't think it was cool that he was avoiding his technician, so he upped and opened his mouth. With a smirk he said, "Heh, Jonouchi, funny to see you out here with your technician. You avoided her the whole day at Shibusen." In his own way, he was trying to help Jonouchi by basically getting him in trouble. Soul was very loyal to his technician while Jonouchi didn't care. Of course, Soul was too cool to simply out and tell Jonouchi what he thought- that would make him look like a wimp.
"Soul!!!" Jonouchi snarled. He then facepalmed a little, why did he have to out and say what his intentions were? He was never telling Soul anything for now on!
Akiko's eyes widened. Of course! Of course the jerk hid from her all day. It made sense, but it still hurt her a lot. She pointed at Jonouchi and yelled, "You're such a jerk!" She looked at Yuugi then pointed at him but looked back at Jonouchi, "He's going to have to be your technician, cause I know refuse to yield you. You don't have to worry about avoiding me anymore!" And with that Akiko spun around and began to walk away. She looked one last time at Maka and said, "If you can find him, Benedict DarkHeart, you can have him."
Spirit backed away slowly then turned around to walk with her master. The fur on her back lowered as her tail went between her legs. She didn't like when her master was upset, which even she knew. The two of them walked through the alley, Akiko was just trying to get away from all of them.
After Akiko turned away from him Jonouchi put his face into his hand and rubbed his temples. What turned out to be a full proof plan just blew up in his face. And why did she care so much? She already had a weapon, it wasn't like he was preventing her from doing anything. Why did she care if he avoided her and her missions? "I'm in trouble aren't I?" he said out loud. Even though he felt a little bad for what he did, he was more concerned about what his friends where going to say or think about him. He would have to explain himself to them. Not around Sul though, the big mouth.
