I'm starting to see the real meaning behind the saying "the grass is always greener on the other side." When I first got to San Diego coming from Great Lakes, I practically had a heart attack how much better it is here. Now that I've been here in San Diego for about a month now, I'm starting to not like things here anymore either..

Idk.. it's weird, yes, I know things could be worse.. but still, can't help but curse at my alarm clock every morning anyway.. you know?

When I tell people I'm living in Hawaii they think that's amazing and wonderful, but after over a year of being here - you find a down side to everything. But that's fine, you have to give cali some time to sink in honestly, but my husband liked it a lot when he was stationed over that way. <3

Omg that was the most annoying part about being in Hawaii!!! Ok well... no actually I'd have to say the traffic, my job/unit/leadership, the racist/anti-military people... hm ok so there were a lot of annoying things in Hawaii. But any time some one asked me where I was stationed I would cringe before answering. Lol. I so far like New Mexico better... even though there is a lot to hate about it too so I'm sure within a few months I'll be itchin to gtfo all over again. XD

I think it's sucking over here because they're doing inserve (sp?) inspections next week and most of the chiefs around here are giving everyone a hard time about making sure everything is squared away. Maybe it'll chill out again once we're done with this stuff.

Traffic. Haha, god that sucks so much out here. I'm living on base though so I just travel from home to work and back and really avoid the traffic whenever possible. <3

And yes, well hopefully things chill a bit after that. But at least the chiefs give a crap enough to want things to go well, I personally get more annoyed at the e-7's who think they're hot s**t but don't give a ******** about anyone or anything and still manage to stay in somehow. Slippery people.
