When she'd gotten the mannequin and watch at the curiosities shop, Ixxie had had no idea that they would turn into children. Or rather, she'd had a vague feeling - this was gaia, they loved giving people children, and that boy had talked like the two items were alive, which they later turned out to be.
The pink haired lady smirked as she looked back at the small group of kids walking behind her. The two eldest were a furry moose boy called Phineas, and a furry moonkin called Cornelius, each of which were helping to carry their little sisters. The two youngest - a fuzzy rainbowriffic girl called Pogo, and a messy looking brunette called Patton - rode on each of Phineas's antlers. The middle child, Julie, was on Corni's shoulders instead.
They were a happy looking family, though no longer as little as before. And they were headed back to the shop to say thanks. She'd promised the boy with the mask that she'd come visit again so he could meet her children, and she did want to thank them for receiving two sweet little girls. Anyway, who wouldn't want to show their kids a crazy oddities shop?

Switch had decided to try the whole 'clean the shop' thing again. It hadn't worked the first two times, but as they say, 'Third time's a charm'! The blue haired woman was sweeping the floors and seeming to get no where with it. It was frustrating, but persistance was key as they say! Besides, it was something to distract her from the whining and groaning of the shop, as it occasionally announced it's discomfort to her.
Kay on the other hand was doing what he did best; getting in the way, making a mess, and doing things he shouldn't. The Shaman boy was just getting up the plastic pins, getting ready for a game of shrunken head bowling. What? His Na was busy and probably wouldn't try to stop him again! It was the perfect time to give this a shot.
Both Guardian and Charge looked up when the shop door opened, the odd but rather Gaian family making their way inside. Kay grinned with delight, and Switch looked honestly shocked; she recognized the rainbow fuzzy thing and the messy brown haired girl as being children from her shop, but she didn't recall selling those particular items. A side glance was cast to Kay...were those the items he sold?
"Hi!" Kay said excitedly, rushing over to greet them. Switch smiled from where she was, leaning on her broom stick.
"Welcome back."

"Hello there." Ixxie greeted them happily, waving to the boy and nudging her family forward. "We came back so I could introduce you to my kids and say thanks for Pogo and Patton." she told Kay with a warm smile on her face.
Pogo looked around the shop - it seemed so familiar but she didn't know why! - and flapped her wings in excitement. It felt neat to be in here and get to stare and play with the stuff. Patton smiled a bit as well, liking the dusty musky feel of it. It was comfortable, lived in.d

Switch blinked in surprise, eyebrows lifting. Wanted to say thanks? For the kids? This was a first! Still, she stayed where she was, leaning on her broom stick to just watch the interaction until she was needed.
"Oooh...Hi, then! I'm Xbalanque, or just Kay. That's my Na, her name's Switch." He said eagerly, pointing to the blue haired woman who waved one hand when introduced. The boy's red eye moved from the bright fuzzy winged thing to the messy looking one in goggles, looking between them before pointing at one, then the other.
"You're Pogo, and you're Patton, right? The Mannequin and Pocketwatch?" It was obvious by colours alone, but even then...when it came to auras, he was never wrong. The red eye moved to observe the other three, pursing his lips like he was thinking. Once he decided, he moved his pointing finger to them.
"...Phineas, Cornelius and Julie?" He guessed without an ounce of hesitation in his voice, pointing to the Moose boy, the Moonkin, and the other female in turn.

"Hello Switch." Ixxie greeted with a smile, moving a bit out of the way so the kids could hang out.
Pogo's eyes widened in amazement. "WOOOOOOOOW!" she said, clapping a bit. This person knew all about them! Patton nodded stiffly but smiled, actually bothering to answer him, "Yes."
Julie flapped her head wings and grinned happily. "You're smart!" she told Kay, climbing down with the help of her brother. Pogo fluttered down by herself - how those wings at all lifted her weight was anyone's guess.
"Do you know any games? Mama said you do." Julie said, eyes wide and happy. Pogo nodded as well, holding onto her sister's arm and smiling at Kay. It seemed that while Pogo and Patton were twins, Pogo and Julie were the closest.

"They...seem energetic?" Switch said lamely, watching the other adult. The blue haired woman was just waiting for this to go bad. For the new Guardian to yell or demand things from her. It was inevitable, right? Right.
Kay grinned when Julie called in smart, putting his hands on his hips in a smug little pose. "I am pretty awesome!" He agreed whole heartedly, despite that not being what they were talking about. His red eye watched Pogo flutter down to the ground, tilting his head when asked about games. "I know lots of games." The Shaman boy assured them, nodding and pointing over to the plastic pins that were already set up.
"Shrunken head bowling, anyone?" It was his favourite game, after all!

Ixxie grinned brightly, "So is it you or the shop itself I have to thank for the kids? They're really really sweet." the pink haired woman stated, looking fondly at her children. "Pogo and Julie have a lot in common and Patton gets on very well with her brothers."
"Ooh! I've never done that." Pogo said, her voice rather wistful and floaty. Julie smiled brightly, "I've never seen a shrunken head."
The talk of "shrunken heads" intrigued Patton, who called over a comment, "How did you shrink them? With a shrink ray? Cornelius and I are making one of those."

"The Shop." Switch said quickly; this woman sure seemed sincere, but she didn't want something to go bad and get turned back around on her. She had enough trouble to deal with as is! "I'm only here as a Spokeswoman, so to speak." For all intents and purposes, she was the 'face' of the shop. Whenever something happened, it was always her face that people recognized. Sigh.
"...Really?" Kay gasped out, like it was ludicrous. How could they not have seen a shrunken head before?! That was crazy talk. Crazy talk he was going to correct. Now! Waving to the group, he wandered over to the pins and picked up Mrrh.
"This is a shrunken head...I dunno how they did it but it was human!" He showed them; the leathery skin, the shaggy dark hair, the sewn shut eyes and mouth, the markings that seemed etched into the face. "I named him Mrrh, wanna hold him?" Kay offered, holding poor Mrrh out to whoever wanted to take and or touch him.

Phineas and Cornelius, who had been standing behind their sisters, raised eyebrows. Phineas just shrugged, wandering over to stand with his mother and the owner lady, than figure out just why someone would want to play with a decapitated head. Corne just stared in confusion before slowly edging away to look around. There could be cool stuff here, right?
Julie and Pogo looked confused at it for a second before shrugging and grinning. "Sure!" the younger said, holding out a furred hand.
"Mrrh sounds like the right name." Julie agreed, noting the sewn shut mouth.
Patton poked the creature over her sister's shoulder, fascinated by it. "Is it alive?" she inquired. After all, most things would die if they lost their heads, but Pogo could remove hers just fine.

Kay didn't seem to notice, or at least care, when the two boys edged away, leaving him with the girls. Nope, didn't mind at all - and it wasn't because of their gender. It was because the three that remained were actually interested! Mrrh was tossed towards Pogo since she seemed to be reaching for it the most, but the other two got his attention too.
"I know, right? All he can say if murmurs sooooo I call him Mrrh!" Kay grinned, only happy to explain the origin of the name. Now that Julie's statement was responded to, he turned towards Patton. "Nah, Mrrh is dead." Which didn't explain why he had talked about Mrrh speaking in murmurs to him, but it was the truth.

Pogo giggled as she lightly shifted the head between her hands, rolling a bit. "I wonder if he likes it? I think it's fun." she commented.
Julie smiled, "Well I'd talk funny too if my mouth didn't work." she giggled.
Patton nodded a bit, "May we use living heads for bowling?" she inquired, reaching out and promptly placing her hands on either side of Pogo's head and twisting, which caused it to unscrew and come off - leaving a bare neck that was solid and rainbow and furry like the rest of her.
"Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttt" Pogo giggled, wings fluttering even though her head wasn't connected to them anymore, "STooooooop that - it tiiiiiiiiickles. You gotta assssssssssk before you take off my heaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. And mommy said we caaaaaaaaaan't throw it at things anymore, reeeeeeeeeemeeeeember?"

"I'unno, he doesn't say anything if he doesn't." Though, that also meant Mrrh couldn't say if he DID like it. But Kay was a kid, and it was hard to make a kid think of the consequences of his actions! He shrugged about the living heads, then stared in wide eyed awe as Pogo's head was detached from her body. "....AWESOME!" He cried out, absolutely thrilled at this particular power.
"Yeah yeah we can use both! On Teams? Pogo vs Mrrh!" Kay was automatically on Mrrh's side, but he looked to the two other girls to see who would join him, if either of them even wanted to.

"Oh, I'll join you!" Julie said pleasantly, going to stand with Kay. "Pogo's not allowed to be on a team without her head on the same team, and Patton has Pogo's head so I'll use Mrrh!" the toddler assured him with a nod.
Ixxie snorted and shook her head, turning to Switch. "Interesting powers they come with, ne?"

"Sounds fair! Okay, Julie's on my team and P-Squared are on a team!" Kay repeated like a referee, taking Mrrh from Pogo's furry hands to give him to Julie; ever the gentleman he was going to let Julie go first! "Rock paper scissors to see who starts?" Kay offered, holding out a dark hand in a fist.
"Yes, interesting..." Switch agreed with a bit of a cringe, then sighing. "At least it doesn't seem to hurt her."

"Sure." Patton agreed, holding out her hand towards him. "You are captain, so you should to it."
"And Julie's really really bad at it so it's unfair!" Pogo teased, nodding a bit.
"No, I agree, Pogo's very...durable." Ixxie laughed.
