AQUARIUM ANALYZER / GLOW TIMER
Q: I see people talk about aquarium analyzer. What is that?
Q: Some people have links in their signature to glow timer. What is that?
A:Aquarium Analyzer is an off site (non-Gaia) web site that helps you analyze your fish tank.
Absol - Ruler of Chaos has created a very handy off site aquarium analyzer. This is the famous 'glow timer' you hear people talking about. It used to tell you when a tank was next going to glow but Gaia changed the code to disable that feature because they want glow times to be a surprise.
Even with the next glow time part disabled it is still a great utility, You can find it here:

(NOTE: On this page there is also a button that says "Too complicated? Click here." That goes to a picture of a tank showing you the tank ID in the URL string.
In the blank you put your tank number (or what ever tank you wish to view). Your tank number can be found in the direct link to your aquarium and is the second number. You can get the direct link to your aquarium by opening up your aquarium via the "Visit My Aquarium" link people see in your sig or your profile page. (NOT from accessing your aquarium via your My Gaia page.) When the aquarium opens, right click on the link in the URL (link) window and left click on copy. Or, depending on your browser highlite it and press Control and C (CTL-C) to copy it to the clipboard.
Open up a simple text editor like Windows Notepad and paste in the link by either Right Click and 'paste' or press Control and V (CTL-V). You should see something like this:

As noted the second number in the string is what you want so in this case 4072873.
Type or paste the number into the box and press Enter or click on Get Analysis.
If you are trying to create a direct link to the stats for a particular tank it is this:

except instead of 4072873 substitute the environment id of the tank you want.
On the next screen you will see information about the tank you chose. Tank name, fish types, names, whether they will be included in the next glow, how much gold they give, chance of drops, date of birth and date of death and so on. At the bottom of the page there is a summary.
If you catch the tank during a glow the summary will say how many people are playing the game and have a link to the tank. If you catch it just after a glow finishes you can see the total number of players who played that game. This information goes back to default summary a few minutes after the game stops. Near the bottom are links to refresh the data or go get another tank. Also at the bottom is a direct link to the tank stats screen you are currently viewing in case you want to use it or share it with someone else.
