Caelan stared down into the large mountain's crater. He was sitting on the rim which was thick enough to comfortably fit a number of foxes walking side be side along it. The crater was, surprisingly, quite beautiful. A lake, one of the biggest Caelan had ever seen, sat in the middle. The clear blue water was surrounded by a thin layer of foliage, only bushes and grasses from the looks of it. There were a few trees scattered around as well.
Eventually, Caelan made his way down into the crater. It started off steep, but quickly sloped to a very slight curve. It didn't take long at all to hit the area where grass began to grow. Caelan idly wondered where the 'underground' rivers where beneath him. He could only assume that the lake was a creation of said rivers.
Reaching the edge of the lake, Caelan wondered in amazement at the water's clarity. The midday sun reflected beautifully off the water. He bent his head to take a sip, noticing that the water was pure. He also saw throught the water fishes swimming nearby. 'There must be an underwater cave leading into the mountain,' Caelan decided to himself.

*just a reminder but Pandora is blind* Pandora adored being outdoors, but more so under-ground and today was a day she went to what was one of her fav. secret hid outs-or so she thought- It was a mountainous area with many hidden caves and crevasses, but one in particular that led to the purest river in hundreds of miles. She went there every day to just listen to the echo of the water, it was her way of seeing the ground above through the vibrations. She sat for awhile just thinking to herslef, but something felt different someone was coming closer and if wasnt the fish. They were still too far for her to fully sense them so she laid calmly and waited with her front pawing in the water...dazzily going in circles. *I wonder who found this place* was all she could think to herself as she waited to see if they could find their way all the way down.

Exploring the area around the lake, Caelan found many interesting things, but there still wasn't much to see. He walked back to the edge of the lake, staring beneath the surface. He could see from this angle that his earlier assumption had been right. There was a large opening just beneath the surface of the water. He wondered how far he would have to swim to reach an air pocket. He couldnt' tell anything from here.
Feeling daring, Caelan jumped into the lake. Taking a deep breath, he dove under the water and quickly swam toward the cave. It thankfully wasn't long before the cave widened and Caelan was able to swim with his head above water. He looked around in wonder; a light shining from an unknown source bounced off the water which, in turn, reflected off the walls of the cave. Beautiful teal designs danced around him on the cave walls and ceiling.
Caelan stopped paddling and allowed the current to take him further into the mountain. He noticed that the cave widened again up ahead. He could see a shore, and prepared himself to jump out of the river. He swam to the side of the cave and, as it opened up, placed his paws on the mountain's dirt floor and leapt gracefully out of the water. He shook himself dry and glanced around. He was surprised when he finally noticed the vixen resting at the edge of the water.

Pandora laid casually, but she was listening closely to the sounds that seemed to grow nearer. She then heard a splash, she twitched her ears at the noise. She could now sense more of a presence and by sent it was male. "He's.....swimming...." Just was now curious as ever as to whom else found her secret place. Further down she heard a small splash and a faint voice as if the fox(assumingly so) broke the surface to breath. She could sense his presence more then ever as he jumped out of the river. She knew he saw her so she casually got up, turned towards him and walked closer as to sense his aurora better. Sensing no danger in him she spoke, soft and gentle. "Hello, lucky to have found this place , you are. It is nice to "sense" another fox. *Small scoff* I'm Pandora, pleasure to meet you." *she bowed her head gracefully and then glaced back straight in his eyes.

Caelan watched cautiously as the vixen approached. She was gray and green, with hair longer than any other fox's. as far as he knew. Caelan also noticed her eyes, the light foggy color suggesting that she was blind. He was saved from having to begin the conversation when she did so herself. Her choice of words confirmed his suspicions. "It is nice to meet you, Pandora. My name is Caelan," he said. "What is this place, exactly? And how is it that you found this place?" This fox made him wonder about a lot of things. Mostly, how it was that her unseeing eyes found his.

Pandora laughed a bit at the expression of wonder on the foxes face. "I can tell your wonderment and curiosity of this place. I actually stumbled on it by chance when I was exploring a new path above. I could hear the water under ground and eventually found a path here....I fell in love with it and I spend most of my time here playing with the fish and daydreaming. How did you come to find it exactly?" she said softly and with curiosity herself. She sensed that Caelan was surrounded by a beautiful aurora and she thought he seemed like he'd be very cute. She could feel herself blush a bit so she shyly turns her head slightly, but then returns her gaze with her gentle smile. "I must add that I am glad you found this place. It's nice to have company other then the fish.", she says with a small giggle.

Caelan listened to her story quietly, chuckling at the ending. "I can only imagine," he replied with a smile. "I decided to climb the mountain and was entranced by the lake in the crater above," he informer her. "The water is beautifully clear. I saw the underwater cave and decided to swim down here. I was quite lucky that this chamber was so close to the top. I could have drowned otherwise."

Pandora smiled as she looked in the water and then back at Caelan. "Don't worry, the water will never over come you. I'd save you before that would happen." she said while knowingly blushing. She the nods her head as to get his focus. "You want to do something fun? Follow me if you like a little bit of a rush." she says while turning and jumps to a ledge across the way and then seems to disappear. She pops her head back out of what is a hidden crevice in the slightly higher wall. She smiles with a hint of humor and signals for him to follow once again. Her voice echos off the inner walls, "Hurry up....I hope you aren't afraid of heights."

A smile slowly spread across Caelan's face at Pandora's words and as he watched her lead him to a crevice on a higher ledge. The vixen perplexed him, he thought as he followed her echoing voice through the space in the wall, but in a good way. "I'm not afraid of heights," he replied, "Though I tend to like knowing where I'm going." Caelan ended with a laugh, doubting that she'd even tell him where she was taking him. She was a mysterious little vixen, after all. He still didn't know much about her, except that she was blind.

She led him through the tight space, not saying a word. She had a devilish smirk on her face when she glanced back slightly feeling his curiosity. As they went further you could start to heat a massive rush of water. It grew and when she finally reached the exit of the area she stopped and turned to him, "I really hope your not afraid of heights....", she smirked again and went into the next area, where there was a massive waterfall below. They were only about 6ft. above it, but it was 30ft high itself. Have to talk a little louder for the sound she moved closer to him, "So, what do you think?"

Caelan just continued after Pandora, knowing she wouldn't say anything until later. He could hear the rushing of the water grow louder and louder. Caelan's eyes widend as the giant waterfall came into his view. They weren't too high up, but the waterfall itself was much larger. "This is amazing," he said, speaking above the noise of the waterfall. "Can we go higher?"

Pandora smirked at his comment and turned to face him a bit, stepping very close to him, almost nose to nose, so as to not yell, "I thought you'd never ask". She turned and continued forward brushing her tail against Caelan ever so slightly.
Pandora continued on a narrow path, stopping at one point, "It's going to get really tight, so watch your step, stay close to me!", she shouted over the roaring water. When he was very close to her she continued on, taking a curve very slowly as the narrow ledge then moved upwards.

Face to face with Pandora, Caelan felt his pulse quicken as he stared into her pale gray eyes, almost touching. He was frozen to the spot, hypnotized. Pandora's abrupt turn, and the slightest brush of her tail, awoke Caelan from his trance and he prepared himself to follow her once again. He heeded her warnings about the path ahead, and she hadn't been exaggerating. He moved slowly, both out of caution and because Pandora was moving at an equally slow pace in front of him. The ledge was now a slow incline.
