Atreo strolled behind the many booths that lined up in the park, enjoying the scent of the mouthwatering food lingering in the air. Not to mention the women that walked all over the place. Today was indeed a fine day to go out. There was some sort of festival going on in the park and the classy Himalayan decided to go investigate the festivities, very pleased he had stumbled upon it. Along the path, booths of all kinds were strewn across, attracting quite a few people. He didn't give much care for them though, knowing he would have plenty opportunities to grab a bite to eat. No, his main focus were the delicate creatures he called "heaven's amazing gift." He stared at the women walking by him, appraising them for their beautiful figures. Smirking to himself, the mischievous cat stealthily sneaked up to an unsuspecting woman, staring up into the poor females skirt. "Quite a nice view." he purred in satisfaction.

The scents of the festival drew the normally human shy cat in. While still avoiding the bulk of people by carefully maneuvering her way through the branches of the trees, the festive feeling in the air did help draw Vega in further and keep her interested. Her steps were light and steady as she strolled her way along a somewhat low branch. Planting the end of her staff into the rough bark, she scanned the immediate area with a bit of a sigh and smoothed her skirt down over her thighs before jumping to the ground, hoping no one got a quick peek as she hopped down to land behind one of the various booths. Giving herself a good once over, Vega tightened the tie of her hip scarf and shrugged her colorful shawl up about her arms, but not high enough to cover her lightly freckled shoulders. With another sigh, she walked along with a half nervous, half excited smile settled on her features. Her curled tail swayed slightly along with her hips as she walked, enjoying the colors and sounds, if avoiding the majority of human foot traffic. Vega chuckled softly as a couple of kids were trying and failing at one of the game booths. "Well, that certainly looks like fun..." She chimed. Glancing around, the female caught sight of a tom peeking up a human woman's skirt. "Oh!" She paused to exclaim a little surprised, before noticing the girl that waved to the peeping tom.

OhGoooodddd the food smelled SO GOOD! Anansi wiggled her hips as she spun through the festival, nose high in the air and scenting all those mouthwatering, wonderful, beautiful smells! Almost perfect...if only she was eating and not sniffing! She slipped past a booth selling hotdogs and it took all her will not to sneak one. But she didn't need chased out... No, the festival was much too colorful, much too beautiful. Much too fun. The girl grinned and raced forwards, her worn hoodie keeping her warm from the chilly air. Punk-dyed hair framed her face, falling into wide baby blue eyes, and she kicked at a rock as her pace went from running to strolling. She caught the sight of a fluffy cat -- male from the scents she was picking up -- glancing up the skirts of the Twoleg women. She giggled. She couldn't help it. Twolegs were so...oblivious. And that guy was such a horndog... She grinned and gave him a little wave.

Hiyori walked along a path busy writing in her journal, oblivious to the festival going on around her. It wasn't until she walked into the side of a vendors tent, that she noticed all the people, colors and all the wonderful food. She walked around the the festival a little more when she saw a nice tree she could sit at and write down everything she saw in her journal. Hiyori sat in the shadow of the tree when she noticed a male looking up the skirts of the humans. She giggled as she wrote down a description of the male and what he was doing. She then noticed two other females and wrote down there description as well. Hiyori could have sat there for hours writing down everything see saw but the rumble in her stomach made her decide to get up and find some food and maybe make some friends.

Today was a particularly fine day for a festival. The sky was clear, the sun was warming, everybody seemed to be having a good time. Especially a little kitty named Destry. He was having fun with this new interesting toy that he found in the trash can. At first the little Selkirk assumed it was nothing but garbage because it didn't seem to have any use, but when he tossed it away the paper object began to glide. It appeared to be nothing but paper with folds and creases, yet it was shaped like those large planes in the sky. He kept picking up and throwing, picking up and throwing the miniature paper plane. "Heh, fun fun. Yes, but if only I had a play mate. Hmmm," he hummed to himself curiously as spotted many kitties but he could only be in one place at a time. He finally decided on a kind looking female. Her outfit was rather enjoyable to look at and her brown hair and blue eyes were rather nice to stare at. Destry was jealous of her beauty but he knew he was beautiful himself. He wandered a big closer to the girl who was observing the scenery before tossing the plane in her direction. By now he was fairly good at aiming and hopefully, if he did this right, it'd smack into the girl.

Vega took a moment to spin slowly around, ignoring the humans for a moment. There were plenty of cats around, drawn in by the buzz of the festival goings on, she figured anyway. There was the girl who waved to the pervert, another settled at the base of a nearby tree who had been writing but had now gotten up and was moving about. They appeared to be nice folk. She smiled and pressed a knuckle to her lips to hide it as she continued to turn, before meeping in surprise as a paper airplane crashed against her chest before drifting to her feet. "What in the world?"The she-cat glanced from the airplane to the vague direction in which it came from as she crouched down to pick it up, making sure to do so before a breeze blew the paper aircraft away.
Looking up as she rose, she spotted a Selkirk tom nearby and she held the plane up between her middle and index fingers. It appeared to have come from him, so why not hazard a guess and hope that she's right. "Would you happen to be missing this?" She quirked a brow at him and tipped her head ever so slightly to the right, a hint of a grin playing at her lips. "You have to be careful, you know. You never know what sort of person you could have a run-in with. Fortunately for you, I'm feeling good and this little thing seems to be in too good of shape to simply crumple up in spite or irritation. Here." Vega turn her hand over, palm up, with the plane still between her fingers with a little c**k of her hip, a subtle movement emphasized by her hip scarf.

Hiyori decide the female with the staff and the male she was talking to looked like nice cats to try to befriend. She slowly made her way over to them, when she noticed the female was holding a folded piece of paper. "Excuse me Miss but what is folded paper in your hand? Does it do something special?" She asked in her best polite voice. She was a very curious young cat and desperately wanted to know what that paper did so she could write it down in her journal,along with these cats names and what they were like.

Atreo was too preoccupied with peeping but could see a cat waving at him from the corner of his eye. With interest, he turned his attention and stared at the other feline, noting that it was a beautiful girl with interesting hair. He smiled and waved back, acknowledging her. Deciding to start a conversation with this one, he sauntered over to the young lady and bowed with a sweep of his hand.
"Hello fair maiden. My name is Atreo. What is a fine lady like you doing here all alone? Did you come to see the festival? Surely you must have some company with you." On one bended knee, he grasped her hand and placed a gentle kiss atop of it. "May I please know your name, O fair one?" The Himalayan decided if he wanted to enjoy the day, he might as well have some female company.

She flicked an ear as he waved back, grinning a little to herself. She was gonna meet a pervert! She twined her fingers together behind her back and waited as he strode up to her with the elegance of a prince. Well...perhaps he wasn't such a perv after all, she wondered to herself as he took her hand and kissed the top of it. Anansi felt herself blush and she giggled. "Atreo, hm? I'm Anansi..." She gave a little nod. "I came here because the food smells soooo good! Don't you smell it? Or do you have another agenda?" She stared at him, giving a wink before tossing her head back with a laugh. "It doesn't matter, I've got your company now. Care to find something to eat, Sir Atreo? We could raid a trashcan..." She lifted an eyebrow mischieviously.

He smiled, showing his pearly white teeth. "Anansi huh? A wonderful name for a wonderful girl." Atreo put his arms behind his back, listening to her and smirked when she mentioned his previous activity. "Oh that, well that wasn't the only reason. I just came here to enjoy myself. I do have to say I'm quite famished at the moment. I'm embarrassed to say though that I've never stuck my body in any trashcan." he grinned sheepishly, it was the honest truth. He was a refined cat who lived well off before he became a stray, but that didn't stop him from acting like one. Like the old saying said: Habits die hard. He grabbed her hand, slightly tugging her toward the direction of a trashcan. "Let's make a deal. You teach me how to get food from these cans and I'll show you a good time around here. What do you think?" he grinned, a playful glint in his eyes.

Vega turned her head to look to the female who approached and dipped her head in greeting with a small smile. "This?" She turned her attention to the plane in her hand and again turned her hand over, palm down with the two fingers holding the paper craft up. "It's a paper airplane. A sheet of paper folded down to resemble and aircraft and capable of gliding on the air when thrown." She paused looking to the tom and wrapped one arm under her bust to rest her elbow on her hand. "Or crashing into ladies' chests. Depending on the pilot of these little things." The Ringtail looked to the curious girl again. "I know there are many ways to make them, into various sizes and shapes, but I don't know of any off hand." Asking the tom with an incline of her head, "Would you happen to know how to make these babies? There is the option of unfolding this to find out, but I imagine that you'd want it unmolested by the end of the evening. Yes?"

As the kind lady held out the plane to young Destry he reached out his hand with a smile gracing his lips, "Ah, yes. It's mine. I found it in the trash can over there, but man, I'm really glad I did. It's super fun!" He let his childish side show as the fourteen year old stretched his arms out to take it but she had withdrawn it slightly, causing the youngster to frown slightly. When he saw the reason for her lack of interest in him he to was a little distracted from the act of giving and taking. A cute girl with what seemed to be a curiosity was wonder about the paper object.
As the Ringtail explained the use of his toy he couldn't help but snicker with humor. "It really was an accident, miss. I mean, I meant to get your attention with it but hitting your lovely chest wasn't my intention." He giggled at this and looked back at Hiyori, taking a fascination in her cute, shy charm. However, when the other girl began speaking to him again he snapped his eyes over to her. "Oh, um... I don't really know how to make one. Like I said, I found it in the trash. I'm all up for unfolding the thing, just as long as we can fold it back. I'd like to keep my toy." He smiled at her happily.

Hiyori looked over the paper airplane and made a quick picture of it in her book and then made notes on how it had been made, she would play with it later. She writes down Vegs and Destrys name and how to remember them as she looked up. "It sounds really neat. Would you guys like some more paper to make some more of them?" She asked as she flipped to the back of her book and waited to see if they would want some more paper. "I'll write down how we unfold it so we remember which order it goes to go back together." she said as she smiled at them softly. They seemed nice enough and she was looking forward to knowing the two of them better.

She grinned in reply. "Thanks, pal," she said with an ornery narrowing of her eyes. "Well what better place to enjoy yourself than a festival!" She clapped her hands together and wiggled her fluffy tail back and forth. Her eyes widened. "You've never been inside a trashcan? It's only the most awesome place -ever!-" In excitement, she nodded. "Okay, deal, pal! C'mon!" She gripped his hand in one of hers and took off towards the back of the festival, where several large dumpsters sat. She let him go and pounced, hooking her paws over the rim of the can and then leaping in. Peeking over the edge, she grinned down at Atreo. "Come on in, Atreo!"
