She was just wondering her usual path in the woods the path that lead to her fav. view of the waterfall. The path so worn from the many times it had been walked. She finally came to her fav. shaded spot over looking the waterfall. She loved the sound of the rushing water and feeling the wind blow the mist on her face. She always comes here to think of the world, but today something felt different, as happy as she is being with nature. She was begging to realize that she really longed for a companion, just a friend or more. She sighed and lowered her head to think....."I'm.....lonely....?....." *heavy sigh*

Noel idly wandered along a worn path that he had never been on before. It seemed, he thought, that many other foxes had already taken these steps. He hoped he would meet another fox soon, it had been a while. His ear twitched subconsciously at the sound of running water. It seemed he was nearing a waterfall.
As the sound grew louder, Noel became aware of the scent of another fox. A vixen, it seemed, was up ahead near the waterfall. He continued on, excited. He was hoping this vixen was as nice as the last.
The origin of the scent was finally in sight. Noel saw the vixen, a white fox with a pink flower design. She stood facing away from him with the wind blowing around her. "Hello, there," Noel said, hoping that he wouldn't startle her too much.

Ariadne almost didn't hear the voice call out to her, but a bit delayed she got up and turned around. It was a male fox, blue with a star burst pattern on him *he's cute* she thought to herself as she blushed, "Umm...hi, Im Ariadne...u can call me Ari for short." *she smiled* Looking behind him she assumed he saw her worn path in the woods. "I guess you followed my path uh?" She turned back around to look at the falls. "This is my faviorte place to come. I come here every day. I sometimes stay all night. It's the one place were I'm not alone.....or it was......"* she drifted with a somewhat sad expression but then it disappeared and she turn around again with a half smile. "So what's your name and what's brings you here on this fine day." *she giggled to herself at the last bit and continued to smile at him.

Noel noticed the shyness in the pretty vixen, and offered her a friendly smile to calm her down. "Ariadne's a beautiful name," he informed her, tilting his head to the side slightly. "I might just stick with that." He glanced around them. "This is a nice place, I can believe that it's your favorite." He glanced behind him momentarily, before looking back at Ariadne. "As you said, I just followed your path," he said. Then added, "My name's Noel."

She noticed his smile and she could of sworn her knees almost buckled. "Thanks, u can call me what you like. Noel, that's a pretty name.....a harmonious/joyful name...if I may say so." *Shyly smiles* "I've come to this place for as long as I can remember it's like home to me, is it weird that it's my favorite place?" She asked a little worried and taken a back.

"Thank you," Noel replied. He then shook his head. "It's not strange at all. This is a nice aread you've chosen for yourself," he answered. He noticed her shy smile and couldn't help but think it cute.

Ariadne smiles shyly and blushes slightly. "So what do u like to do for fun. I love to swim and climb the tallest trees possible. Ill stand out on the tallest branch[that will hold me smile ] and feel the wind on my face and I feel like I could fly. In the sky or beneath the water......" she drifts off almost daydreaming, but catches herself and blushes of embarrassment. "Sorry, I didn't mean to drift like that.....so umm....what do you like to do." She smiles shyly and blushes again.

Noel chuckled and replied, "It's alright. I don't mind that you rambled a little. I do it too." He shrugged at her question. "I love meeting new foxes," he replied with a large smile. "And I find almost anything fun. I always find a way to pass the time, and it's much easier with others around."

Ariadne smiled and blushed again, unsure of what to say or do next. She looked up a tall tree and knew the view was great so she wandered. "Would you like to go for a climb? This tree gives the most spectacular view of the waterfall and the valley." She gave a hopeful smile, it's not often she gets to show off her fav. view.

Noel glanced up at the large tree Ariadne had indicated to. It was sure to be an easy climb, and definately large enough to support the two of them. "Sure," he replied. "Lead the way!" He turned back to the flowery vixen, offering her a smile.

With a nod and smile Ariadne stepped up to the tree and with another look over her shoulder at Noel she started the climb. She moved slowly, unsure how attuned Noel was to climbing. She looked back at him. "You doing alright Noel?", she came to stop at a large branch that Noel and her could easily sit on. She looked at the view so far, you could see a good view of the valley and a bit of the waterfall, but only a side view. She stepped out a bit letting the wind hit her face, blowing her hair a bit. She looked back at Noel with an elegant smile, "We are close, you ready to keep moving?" She walked back towards him and surveyed the rest of the tree.

Noel followed Ariadne silently until she stopped at a thick branch that they could both rest on. "I've been having no troubles climbing," Noel replied as he took in the view. It half surprised him when she said they were going to continue upward, but he assumed that the sight could only get better the higher they went. Glancing upwards, he nodded in answer to Ariadne's question. "I'm ready," he told her with another smile. He waited for her to continue climbing, before following up after her.
