So who's heard of this? Fortress is appearently a planned sequel to FFXII. It was being developed by a third-party western company, but was eventually halted.

I think I remember hearing about that! The FF Wiki page looks familiar. I sort of remember hearing that it was cancelled, but apparently, it "is now being developed by a different, undisclosed studio."

I love Ashe's new outfits, but there's not much else to go on. The "trailer" looks nice enough, and the giant Malboro's pretty cool, but... all in all, what the heck IS it?

While I'm fairly certain it's not, due to the premise and story plot of the game that's been released so far. The game play demo looks more like it's an Ivalice based MMO. I highly doubt this is the case, I'm simply saying the gameplay resembles such. I love the look of what appeared to be a possibility of chocobo mounted combat system and I can't wait until there's more info on this game... especially what it's actually going to be named when it's released because 'Fortress' is obviously a fake name.
