Josh wanted me to make this thread for some reason. I suppose its purpose is to showcase interesting pieces of clothing one comes across online, or articles one has purchased or intends to purchase. The reason he asked me to make the thread was to introduce this shoe art.

Awesome shoes, though I would have liked to see a bit more integration with the art work. For example, the Bowser shoes would have been a lot cooler had that strap-like piece that goes across below the laces had been painted to look like (or even replaced with) black leather and had pointed metal studs put through it, thus looking more like Bowser's armbands, think how much more interesting a design that would be. This could be pushed even further by painting a shell pattern on other parts. As I said though, they are quite nice just as is. While I don't have any links to the sort of things that I like, I do have very specific, even exacting standards in what I look for. I won't even consider buying any aristocratic or even Japanese apparel unless they fit certain criteria. First off, pants are made, as I hear, of measurements that I could not possibly fit into without having utilized extensive surgery requiring the use of a bone saw. That and when ordering them, Sara seems to need to ask me the measurements of my natural waist... You know, the one almost level with my navel. Either she is confused or they would be so completely ridiculous and uncomfortable that I would never consider wearing them even if they did fit. I prefer to keep that part of my outfits simple and inexpensive and simply buy domestic, though if ever I find pinstripe pants (striped just the way that I want them, that is) that fit me like the one pair that I have, I will buy them with cost being no object (within my means, of course). When it comes to vests and jackets, the requirements are that they be black and have tails. I prefer certain collars and styles of tails, but more on that later, perhaps with pictures this time. More to come on the pinstripes, as well.

How darling. The shoes are very interesting. Not really many characters on them that I'd honestly be interested in though. I always did love to look at the dresses. blaugh I just adore the pretty laces and bows.
Awe! My favorite ones the Melt Chocolate dress! whee

I'm making a post her to ensure that this stays on the first page and to let you know that the clothes that I ordered ages ago finally came in, today. I'll be posting an update soon, possibly even today.

And here they are. This one is backless. It's kind of annoying to put on the hanger (and onto myself), but it's pretty awesome, otherwise. This one is punk enough that I wouldn't wear a cravat with it, but casual enough that I can wear it with jeans and a t-shirt once it gets too warm for my duster.

Why won't you? It's really not that expensive. Are there not Hot Topic stores in New Zealand? I could see the shipping being rough. By the way, I saw the add on the MyGaia page as soon as I left this page. I take it that's where you found it, too?

By the way, I saw the add on the MyGaia page as soon as I left this page. I take it that's where you found it, too? I found it on American McGee's official website. Since I've just been informed that I'm going to have two days of working 10 hours, I think I'm going to treat myself to that shirt and maybe a bag.
