Hello, hello and welcome to DD's first custom slots, and the first slots of the year 2010 here at Wild!
I have some spare time to kill this weekend, and would like to spend it drawing wonderful horses for you, so please read the rest of this post, and then go ahead and enter for a custom!
My only two examples of Wild Horses: [ New Years Mare ] & [ War Pony ]
Start: January 27th, 2010-- NOW!
End: January 30th, 2010-- 4:30pm PST (ish, you may post until I close it when I get home from work that day)
Rules
1. Be polite, to me and others.
2. Don't steal other people's ideas.

5. Do not be a sore sport if you do not get a slot.
6. YOU CAN SUBMIT UP TO TWO CUSTOM FORMS! PUT THEM IN THE SAME POST. However, if you win, you must pick one to fill the slot.

Stuff to Know
• No cosplays allowed. These horses are to remain natural (colored), native, or western-themed, until further notice.
• Accessories must also stay within these limits. Please, no accessories that are meant for humans (ex.—sunglasses, clothes, shoes, electronics, etc.). Most types of jewelry, such as earrings, bracelets, and necklaces, will be allowed, as long as they are not too human-like. If you have a question about what is allowed and what is not, please ask a staff member.
• Hair styles must also not be human-themed. Long and curly hair is still accepted, but no human-like hairdos, such as buns, pigtails, ponytails. Braids, loops, small ponytail-like bunches, and Mohawks are accepted.
• Colors on a horse must be realistic. No neons or rainbow colors. The only way you can put color on your horse is by earning spirit paint. Info on different breeds will be added—also, it’s alright if your horse is an unrealistic breed (such as a chestnut coat with white hair or a palamino appaloosa) as long as the colors are realistic.

Breed: Mix.
Attitude: Insane
Eye Color: bright golden-yellow, very creepy.
Description:
> body color would be a chestnut. Im letting the colorist go crazy on the colors, I just want the body color to be somewhere in the brown - light almond area. x'D
> Long, crazy mane. Preferably a bleach blond, or a Palomino style.
> The mane should be flying around due to her pose. Also, it will be tangled and knotted, and have a twig here or there. Like she just came out of a dense bush. And it should be going over her face and nearly covering her eyes, but we can only see a bit on her yellow eye...creepy xD
> Her eye should have a very insane look to it, and have like a spark or something.
> Feathering she be normal, nothing too long.
> You can go crazy with the hooves, <3
> She should have a medieval style bridal on her, with elaborate decorations on the reins. [see ref.] But it should also be cut and scratched. And on the other side [behind her head] it should be almost dangling off of the rein.

Description: Base hide color is a pale or slate grey with a bluish tinge (see references) with darker grey zebra/tiger stripes, A black mane and tail and white bird spotting between the stripes around his face, lower legs and barrel.
He has a leather accessory over his ears and between his eyes with a tooth or piece of bone sown into the middle, and a leather string with white and blue beads holding a plethora of feathers onto the top of his tail.
Both his mane and tail should be long and his body should be tall and angular looking.

Eye Color: Brown or light pale brown - whichever looks best
Description: Dark brown body with a lighter streaked mane and a tail. Mane an forelock should be sorta bushy and both mane and tail should be long.
A feather headress like plume of black and purple feathers should be between her ears and trailing down her mane and forelock, she carried a 'medicine bag' filled with all sorts of things she picks up, bits of differant plants, pine cones..a deer antler. The bag should have bone beadwork on it that outlines the bag opening and looks like an oaktree in the middle.
Her tail should also have a plume of feathers on its base as well as a leather thong on which is tied some bones and antlers and other such creepy things.
She's based on a medicine man/shaman type idea if that helps.

Name of horse: Alaunus
Breed: Fell Pony
Attitude: Devout
Eye Color: Deep Blue
Description: Alaunus is an older horse and as such his coat is a bit faded. Light grey body, that has some white dappling along his rump and down his back legs. Mane should be a medium-dark grey with white running though it, and it should be a medium-long length. On the end of his muzzle, ear tips and above the eyes there should be a slight hint of very light faded pink (like what happens when a light colored horse is in the sun too much a gets a slight sunburn). He should have four white socks and a slight feathering around his hooves, ref breed ref pic (not as much feathering that is found on draft horses though). Hooves should be a medium brown. There should be a tuft of extra hair on his chin, similar to a small beard (like is often seen on pictures of unicorns).
Around his neck is a thick vine that looks like it has thorns on it. Hanging from the vine is three Oak leaves that each are a slightly different shade of green.
Within his main and tail are vines that weave in and out of the hairs (giving it an appearance as if the vines were growing through his hair). In his tail should be a second thicker vine that is darker green that the other one, that also has thorns on it. Tail should be medium-long.
Since he is quite old his pose should be one of him either standing or walking. No high action poses for him.

Breed: Kiger Mustang
Attitude: Compassionate
Eye Color: Some shade of blue? Whatever looks best.
Description: A Dun Kiger Mustang mare. Long black mane and tail (see ref). Not freakishly long but a nice length. And a few lobelia flowers woven in the mane and tail. (whatever color looks best, blue or purple hue would be better) Pose could be just about anything. Something that makes her look compassionate? Kind and caring. She's meant to be spirit healer for the Druid heard.
