I've been to one before, but I never know what to give to people. I never have stuff on their wish list, so I usually end up giving cheap stuff D8 /flail
They look fun though ~ w~ , I just don't like posts that stretch lol.

I participated in one a few years ago. I read the rules and obeyed them. They are fun, but I quit the thread because I was accused of giving out less then the required amount of gold (or items equal or over the amount). I was giving things above and then I got a message saying that I was giving junk items. So, instead of defending myself, I just left the place. I didn't want to start an argument, really.
Anyway, it really is a good idea, but a required amount of gold or what to give shouldn't be listed. It could cause some drama to happen.

Yuck, that would be nasty :c I probably would've just left as well. Those threads can turn into mobs sometimes
I think thats a good idea, maybe just make a small list of things you shouldn't donate? Hmm.. idk.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking. Like, no garbage (like paper, flowers, etc). But then again, people likes to collect them.
This will really need a lot of planning if one will be planned.

I like dttpays. but it really depends on the amount of people who are willing to participate. it wont be fun if only someone post once a day.

The thing is when people donate for certain amount of cash. they start to donate low to others in order to gain gold for their quest or questing for others...

I don't really like them, but that's because all the ones I tried ended up weird. For example, sometimes, you just end up gifting the same person multiple times. Sometimes, you end up gifting to the next person exactly what someone before you gave you.
Yeah, I agree with Ryox. Need more people. But generally, I'm not for it.
Edit: And then there's the finger pointing and so on. sweatdrop

Eh yeah... kinda what other people said. It CAN work, but most of the ones I've seen turned into drama fests and weren't all that fun.

Keep in mind that this is a small guild.
Since it's small it will be easier to look over everything. Not to mention we can put rules into place that will cut back on the posts thus the drama.

Thanks. Sounds like a pretty cool concept. I personally wouldn't participate because all my money is going right into my friend's and my quest. sweatdrop Maybe when we're not questing, I'd give it a go.
Would it have any set rules, such as the item/gold donated must be no more or less than a certain about (say, no more than 5k and no less then 1k), so that it's mostly fair on everybody?
