xxxxx"If you're worried about surviving, xxxxxxxyou can worry about it after you're dead!" "The wyvern riders of Bern sit atop the heap of all other forces on the continent!" xxxxx "You will see our power soon!" Thankfully, all those who were coming came along pretty quickly, and the Learanian army set out with relative ease. Isadora, being perhaps one of the only people in the army who had actually been to Estarcia before, took the front and lead the way. The cavalry trotted along each side of the foot soldiers, and Vaida flew above with the other wyvern riders, watching where the paladin dame would lead. Naturally, with an army of this size, they didn't just reach a foreign country in the same day, especially with a large majority of people traveling on foot. They took the necessary distances and camped perhaps a few times. Vaida was pleased with her soldier's endurance.
A long story short, the army traveled.
The land slowly became more and more clustered with trees. It got to the point at times, where Vaida had to have the wyverns fly much lower just to keep track of where Isadora went. They passed several villages along the way, making it more evident that they had passed into Estarcia. They were actually very fancy for villages, it was as if even the peasants were wealthy, as contradictory as that is. If villages looked like that, the cities must be huge. They would find out soon enough.
Within a day or so (Need time confirmation) of travel, the army finally made it to the capital of Archesis. Vaida could only imagine what the people on the ground were seeing, but from the sky, she.. found herself impressed. These snobs really knew how to make things look good. Of course, Vaida didn't show her awe. She just scoffed and said "I guess it's nice.. if you're into to that whole... beautiful thing."
The Estarcians must have seen the army coming and recognized the Learanian banner, because they were immediately let into the city, and escorted toward the castle. Vaida landed momentarily to check where to go, and was told that the armies were going to be brought to the castle barracks. Vaida was unsure if Isadora would go to see the king or if she would go to the barracks as well, but frankly, she didn't really care. When the Estarcian guard said that they had stables ready for the horses and wyverns, Vaida jumped on to getting the mounted units inside, so that their animals could rest. It had been a long trip, after all. Only after some food and water, purely for necessity purposes, would be when they would get their orders.
Inside the barracks, Vaida made sure that all mounted units got in first and got their partners taken care of. Then, all the others came in, so that they could cook up some food and have a break, until they were needed. After it looked like everyone was doing fine, the commander decided to find Isadora. She would know where to go from here. Vaida had ideas of how to form up various squads, but she needed to know as much about enemy location and power as possible. Plus, you can only know so much about a countries layout from just a world map. A strategy needed to be formed and- come to think of it, wasn't Alihi asked to come along? She would need to be found, as well. Hopefully the paladin had already found her.
Within a few moments of wandering about the unfamiliar building, Vaida eventually found Isadora and called out to her. She didn't know if the crew member had gone to see the king yet, but that was beside the point. "Dame Knight! So, where are the higher ups? We need to know what to do. We also need to find that tactician, she's around here somewhere. And do you know if they need our healers? We can send them over to the injured, right away. ...Damn, where the hell is everyone?"
 W y v e r n L o r d V a i d a* I'm making this out of approval, to move along and spare long traveling time. Make yourselves at home in the barracks.

I feel like I can face the day... ...and I can forgive. ♦ ◄ALIHI► ♦ ———————————— (( Guess who has been busy with other crap and forgot to post~? The whole way to Estarcia, Alihi was strangely quiet. She did not say a single word to anyone and kept her distance from the rest of the group. At times, it was like she wasn't even there at all. Unseen walls were put up around her, isolating herself away from the rest of the army. For the mental planning that she was doing, she needed that quiet that came with seclusion. She did, after all, hardly understand exactly what was happening.
Estarcia was attacked by an unknown force and needed aid desperately enough to call upon another country for help; that is all Alihi understood of the situation.
That's hardly anything to work off of at all... She told herself over and over again. Though she had a basic understanding of the geography of Estarcia, she felt constantly on the edge. With the lack of information, no strategies could come to her mind. She could not prepare for something she had no clue about. And, until she could figure out more, the tactician was nothing but deadweight; she could not heal and she could barely fight, as proven in situations before.
Her feelings of unease did not settle, even as the group arrived in Archesis, the capital city. She continued to keep her distance from the others, just leaning against some surface with her cloak wrapped around her body tight and her eyes shut, deep in thought. Alihi purposefully avoided the barracks, for she had a hunch that the majority of their army would be there. Instead, she was standing some distance away from the barracks. It was far enough away for her to have the space that she wanted, but anyone outside of the barracks could spot her. The last thing she needed at the moment was twenty or so questions of "what are your orders" or something similar; she did not want to admit that what she had planned so far was nothing at all.

As the guards and guild members settled themselves in the barrack resting and eating, Isadora asked one of the Estarcian guards to let her see the king immediately. She refused to meet with the diplomats and go through their paper works again. Besides, there was a war they were sent to help.
The guards were unsure of delivery her message due to following the protocol procedure; however, they informed her that they would inform a general named Cornelius about their arrival. The paladin frowned a bit about their servitude to the law, but she accepted their suggestion. It was better to meet the generals than the snobby diplomats. If they were to meet them and these nobles snide at them, Isadora would know for sure that they would receive a full blow from Vaida (and maybe a boastful remark from Serra if she knew her well from Elibe.)
As one of the Estarcian guards went out to search from Cornelius, Isadora strolled out of the barracks and into the courtyard. The paladin had never expected to be back in this castle so soon. She knew full well that the guild would try to make alliance with their neighbor countries as much as possible in case evil force came forth the land. But she would never thought she would be back again after being declined for their help months ago. Maybe this would be a good opportunity for the guild to have both countries allied together.
Not bothered to wait another moment for the Estarcian guard to return her message, the paladin walked further toward the castle when she heard someone shouting her. Recognized the familiar loud voice, Isadora turned around and was being bombarded with questions.
"Calm down, Vaida." Isadora tried to calm the Learania Captain. "We've just came to Estarcia. We don't want to rush our troops into battle without rest and food. As for your questions, I've just asked one of the guards to call forth their general to let us see their king. I don't know if we can get to see the king, but I hope we do. In the meantime, we need to rest our army and prepare for the war while we gather information from the Estarcian king and generals. We need as much information about the war status, number of injured people, and the movement our enemy had made.
"While we wait for the general, I suggest you should find our tactician. Rath has informed me that our tactician is with us right now. Once we get the information of our enemy's movement, I'm sure our tactician will help us turn the tide against them, even if we use the Estarcian tactician or in an unfamiliar land. And while you're at it, please control your temper if you come across the nobles. They are very... high maintenance about their society, so don't let their comments get the best of you."
The paladin silently prayed to Saint Elimine that not only Vaida, but the rest of the troops would behave themselves. If she found out that the king was displeased of their behavior, the chance of having the two countries allied together would fail. Rath would not be pleased if Estarcia had refused to... "be friended" with Learania, even if they somehow won the war.

"... Ugh." Outside the courtyard, a loud "POP" could be heard; however, to be honest it was really more of a small explosion sound than anything. An attack? No, of course not, not this soon. Though there were a few soldiers running in panic - which was pathetic, really, trained soldiers shouldn't be running from a small sound, but from the looks of this place Estarcian soldiers weren't all that well trained anyway - the sound had actually been that of magic. To be precise, the magic of a Saint warping into the area from quite a distance away. Said Saint brushed off his robes irritably, grumbling under his breath about the weather and the cold and these idiots and the other idiots and ugh. Honestly, couldn't anyone do anything that was convenient anymore? There was just always trouble, trouble, trouble for him. Honestly, someone in the Church shouldn't be expected to do so much physical labor.
But he made his way into the courtyard anyway, recognizing the familiar tones - barks, really - of a certain wyvern mistress. His face cracked into a slight grin upon the sight; this woman had gotten worse during her time in Learania, if anything. But, she did keep the troops in order. She was a person to be respected, if anything. A few soldiers milled about; the majority were still in groups from travel, and no one had come out to greet them. What a dearth of hospitality. Even with the state they were in, if they expected help they should at least show courtesy to the ones who were, honestly, their rescuers. But of course, not everyone could be expected to have been taught properly. Oh well.
Until he was called for healing duties - he would be, of course, being one of the few healers they actually had - he would find himself something to do. And, here was someone he could take a few minutes to speak with. Vaida was already speaking to her; and the man had learned long ago not to interrupt this one in the middle of a conversation. So instead, he kept his distance, moving close enough that Isadora could see him, however. If she wanted to talk, she'd talk. In the meanwhile, he'd wait; maybe his daughter would come around and speak to him for a while. She'd been with her new husband quite a lot lately; he'd expected it, but it was still rather lonely without anyone around. Leila had vanished, Soren was... in halves, neither of which were exactly easy to find most of the time, Melethia was around but usually occupied, and of course Kishuna was Kishuna and more fun to do activities with than talk to. Goddess, he needed to get out more. But the Saint shook his head and sighed, changing out the now-cracked Warp orb atop his staff for a simple Heal. Later, Renault. He could think about that at a better time.

I've been blessed with the gifts of the gifts of the Lady Saint, so show me some respect! It's not every day you find a rarity like me.₪Victoria₪ The trip to Estarcia was a very long one for most of the people whom only traveled on foot and didn't have mounts. For Victoria, however, it was almost like second nature. As a missionary back in Elibe, she traveled many miles, mostly on her own two feet. Horses were sometimes stubborn creatures, and wyverns gave the bishop unpleasant memories. Walking on the ground made her feel like she had control, anyhow. The animals used for mounts would gain minds of their own and go directions their masters didn't wish them to, but Victoria was very much in control of what direction she was walking.
She found herself walking ahead of some of the newer of the Guard recruits, passing energy-boosting potions to the especially slow ones from a convoy that traveled with the Learanians to Estarcia. Not a single one of them could fall behind if they were going to have the numbers to face whatever this great evil was. While Saint Elimine would watch over the Learanians with Victoria's and the other Elibe Bishop's prayers, she had sense enough to know that their equipment, numbers, and high spirits were all going to be very important. "Lady Saint, give the Learanians all they need for victory." She thought.
When the Learanian forces were finally allowed into Estarcia's palace grounds, there was a certain air about the foreigners that Victoria recognized. Despite being the ones to ask for help, they turned their noses up at the 'commoners' as if they weren't even welcome at all. The bishop remembered doing the same to... dark users and anima users until loosening up, ever slightly because some of them were saviors of FEF. She thought how wrong it would be if those snooty stares didn't change after the guild members and the Guard helped rescue these rich pansies who probably didn't even know how to fight.
Victoria was about to go ahead a little further, when she noticed someone really familiar to her warp in. Only one person she knew had the power to just kind of appear, wearing those robes and looking generally irritated at some of the hopeless soldiers around him. Approaching him slowly, Victoria curled a small smile on her lips and let out a greeting. "Good to see you, Father Renault! Did you get the notice that called all the healers here as well? ... well, no matter how you came, it will be an honor working alongside another great Elimine bishop like me. I must tell you that I'm taking good care of Luce." She then got the tome out in her hands, to reveal that since the last time Renault held it, a Hammerne staff had been used to make it look almost brand new. Only the cover showed the signs of aging.ΘжElmine's LightжΘ If you are my ally, fear not, for healing is on your way! If you're my enemy, you'll be purged, and dead you shall stay.

The Mad King looked for a place to sit among the crowd of soldiers. The long march wasn't too tiring for him, but he needed a place to sharpen his blades. Ashnard knew what war was like.. You wouldn't want to be caught in a battle with a dull blade or and empty tome.
Several minutes later, the general was sharpening his weapons. He was just barely out of the larger group, sitting near a fire. He looked up and spotted a red-haired, hat-wearing swordmaster. He looked as though he could hold his own in battle, but Ashnard wondered if the man could effectively stand against the Mad King. Then the 6'5 armor-clad figure stood and pointed to the swordmaster. "You there, Red-Headed Swordsman!" he shouted,"Come here! I have a proposition for you!" Ashnard had a huge grin on his face, for he was about to make some money to fund his army.

Loud noise..loud woman..Oooooh Elly didn't like it one bit. Both her hands were clutching the edge of her hat, trying to pull it down over her ears as best she could. But even then that wouldn't block out the loud irritable noises that wyvern girl was making. At least they were almost there. In all honesty, the walk really didn't seem that long..probably because the poor girl was spaced out the entire way she hadn't realized they've already arrived. How odd, she thought. Oh? That tactician she met back during the fall festival was here....lets see..what was her name..A..Alihi? Wow, surprised she knew that much. A caring mother that needed her daughter back at any cost. Elhaym took a deep breath, holding her hands over her chest and exhaled. They reached a barracks and as cold as Elly was, she had no intention of going in for the time being. Ok, girl, what the hell were you thinking wearing a skirt here in the first place? You left your cloak in Tristai's apartment too! What on earth were you thinking?? Her brother's survival probably! She rolled her eyes, smacking her over the forehead before slipping into the building and stood along the walls, still quietly following the others.

...Injured with pain and sadness, the you that cannot be healed Shoulder the burden of the past that cannot be erased; don't throw away your will to live...[ X ][ O ]Blossom[ O ][ X ] →Blossom had eventually gotten herself a bit of armor--it was a change for her, not exactly being used to 'suiting up' beyond finding a weapon and making sure it was ready for battle--and as she walked along with the other members of their company, Vezra strapped onto her back, a pair of metal gauntlets now covered her forearms and the backs of her hands. The sleeves of her blouse had been rolled up to her elbow to accommodate the new additions. There was also a single shoulder guard over her left shoulder, presumably to cushion Vezra's weight if she wished to rest the square-ish, unsharpened base of its blade against her shoulder while carrying the weapon. In any case, she was outfitted, with Vulneraries and an Antitoxin or two in her bag, and she seemed cheerful as she went along with the others, very out of place with the schoolgirl clothing.
Blossom considered Estarcia's condition as they walked, eventually reaching the capital. Things seemed to be just fine within the capital city, but she supposed they wouldn't be marching through ruins. Hadn't someone said the attack came from the north, anyway? And Learania was sort of to Estarcia's south... right? I still haven't quite gotten used to this place's geography.
Blossom, unlike Vaida, was utterly amazed by the city of Archesis. The villages had been pretty, yes, but this was on a totally different level. She thankfully allowed herself to be taken to the barracks with the others. It wasn't until a little while later, as she exited the barracks to get some fresh air (things got kind of stuffy with so many people all packed into one area), that she noticed Alihi off to the side, all on her own.
Well, that wouldn't do.
The Hero skipped over to her; Vezra was within the barracks, but she still wore the gauntlets and shoulder guard. "Alihi! Are you all right? You look kind of down," Blossom questioned. She folded her arms behind her back and awaited a response.← You'd better forget everything. Remember. . . your different Life?XXX You'd better forget everything. Well, at least crazy b***h Vaida didn't notice him. Roy hadn't forgotten the Guard Captain's rage back during their campaign in Sentria, and he sure as hell wasn't going to make the same mistake twice of pissing her off...or doing anything reckless that could cost the lives of his companions, or his own life.
But Vaida was the least of his concerns. Roy's thoughts were focused on what little information Isadora had given him. Some unknown force was putting up one hell of a fight, and Estarcia was struggling so much to defeat them that they had to ask another country for help. Or something like that. Like the conclusion Isadora had reached, the only logical explanation Roy come reach was that this mysterious force had also crossed over through the Door. If it was any other country in this continent, their tactics would at least be a little more recognizable, or whichever direction they had chosen to invade from. So it probably meant that the Door had brought this force directly into Estarcia.
They had reached the capital of Estarcia, Archesis. The group was led to the barracks where they could take a chance to warm up while Isadora went to try to get an audience with the king. The young lord didn't mind the cold, probably due to the small traces of Ice Dragon blood running through his veins. He didn't mind the heat either back in the desert, thanks to his fire affinity.
Best of both worlds, huh?
He sighed, then decided to wait.

It had been a long day's march--longer than Ghis was accustomed to moving around. Being in the Watch meant you weren't expected to march around that much--as long as you could cover short distances quickly and otherwise keep a nice, steady pace on your patrol routes, you were fine. This, however, was a march of endurance--himself and Javert would be fine, and Charice had a pegasus, but he'd realized not all the Watch soldiers would keep up with such a lengthy drag. He needed soldiers with more stamina than most, or cavalry. This led to most of his "generic" entourage being cavaliers and archers, men and women with horses and/or who regularly hunted (and therefore knew something of a long day of moving about). Even a few well-trained guard dogs trotted with this ragtag portion of the army--their superior sense of smell and quick lunges helped ensure that a camp wouldn't be caught off-guard in a nighttime attack.
They didn't have too many healers, however (really, a healer wouldn't be of much help in apprehending any suspect)...
So cavalry, archers, guard dogs... yeah, everyone seemed together. Ghis had made sure his squad reached Archesis with everyone else; after that, well, what they did was their business. "Waste time at yer own peril," he'd said, and they'd all been off, securing this spot or that in the barracks.
Then he paused. Nae, wait... Ne'er saw Amelia. Din't she get th' word? Woulda liked having 'er 'ere--wields the lance better n' most. Well, it couldn't be helped. Maybe she was sick or something?

"Hgnh..."
Lance was rubbing his temples. He left to follow a girl, got lost, joined up with this army going for that Estaplace and heard the girl was around, so he thought he found her but he actually found a dude that looked like her which was strange because she was really small and the dude wasn't on closer inspection, so Lance was punched because of the misunderstanding, so now he had a black eye, and while his illness had subsided it still lingered so he had a headache. Now when they had finally set up camp, Lance had forgotten why he was here to begin with. He knew it had something to do with that girl, but since he had now forgotten who he was after to begin with he didn't know who to ask for. Now he was stuck in this mess with hardly any way out. He walked around camp, trying to look for familiar faces...
And it scared him that he didn't recognise anyone.
He knew that he knew some of these people, but it was a lingering feeling at the back of his head rather than a memory. He didn't know who he knew, or what name went with what face, in fact, some names were blurry. He hoped it was just temporary, due to the illness, but what if it took a more permanent stance? Would he forget all about his friends? Was this the next step of his waning sanity?
He shuddered at the thought, but couldn't help but to push his worries away. "'othing to do abou' i' now anyway. Migh' as well jus' keep on livin' until I recall somethin'," he thought as he sat down near a fireplace, paying no heed to any people he might know.

Edward had bought a jacket to keep himself warm. He eased out his stiff muscles while he walked and went through his pack to see if he was missing anything that he would need for battle. ".... Got my swords, my maintained equipment for my sword, Vulneraries, and an Antitoxen. I should be ready...." Edward closed his pack and slung it around his shoulders and walked on.
The Myrimadon took out his swords and inspected them also. Caladbolg was almost brand new and it was already in good shape, his steel sword and wind edge were also in good condition but he cleaned them anyways. After finishing, Edward looked around at the landscape.

I feel like I can face the day... ...and I can forgive. ♦ ◄ALIHI► ♦ ————————————
... Well, it appeared as if someone had found her. Alihi tilted her head towards the sound of the voice, only smiling slightly when realizing it was Blossom. As stressed as Alihi was, she didn't have the heart to shoo Blossom away. She didn't mind Blossom's company; the female hero was, after all, a person the tactician considered a good friend. At times like this, it was bonds like friendship that kept her sanity in tact.
She couldn't help but chuckle at the female hero's question. "Down? I wouldn't classify what I'm feeling as down. It's more like... hm." Alihi paused, rubbing the back of her neck absentmindedly. "Well, I'm not upset about anything... quite the opposite. I'm just stressed and worried. That's all." She smiled to her friend, hoping that the answer was good enough. The tactician didn't really want to go into more detail. "How have you been lately? I haven't seen you in a while which, granted, was mostly my fault..."

xxxxx"If you're worried about surviving, xxxxxxxyou can worry about it after you're dead!" "The wyvern riders of Bern sit atop the heap of all other forces on the continent!" xxxxx "You will see our power soon!" "Yeah, I KNOW all of that." Vaida scoffed. That was obvious, it didn't need to be said to her. "My temper is perfectly fine! I just want that General to show up. As for finding Alihi, I've got a few hands on the job already. But really, I know better than to let some weak, spoiled rich people get the better of me." Vaida glanced over at a maid who was passing by. The maid glanced at Vaida, and raised her head so that her nose was high. "AND JUST WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LOOKING AT?" The maid jumped slightly, then scoffed and hurried off. "Yeah, that's right, keep walking! Hey, guards, check her dress, I bet she stole something!" Vaida looked back at Isadora, who was clearly unhappy. "...What?"
After finally getting a chance to settle her wyvern in a stall, Mihira had scuttled over to try to find a place to sit and eat. All her "friends", the "faceless" some called them, seemed more or less sectioned off from the other guild members. Not only that, but there wasn't any room in any area she could find. Before she could continue her search however, she bumped into a guard who told her that Commander Vaida wanted her to help find the tactician, Alihi. It seemed that getting a bite to eat would have to wait a moment.
As the other searchers began looking amongst the groups inside the barracks, Mihira made her way outside. Large numbers of people made her feel uncomfortable anyway, as if it was slightly hard to breath, sometimes. After escaping out of the doorway, Mihira bumped the side of a smaller girl who passed by. "Oh, s-sorry..." The girl kept walking. "..She didn't hear me... Hm?" The scout looked passed the girl and toward where she was headed and saw another girl standing by herself. Mihira was able to identify her as Alihi, since she remembered her from the Sentria trip.
The timid soldier walked up to where the two girls were, hoping that she wouldn't interrupt something important. It would be rude to suddenly jump in, but Alihi had to know that she was being sought after. "Um.. e-excuse me... Miss Alihi? Hi. I don't mean to interrupt, but.. well, when you can that is, Commander Vaida is looking for you, a-and I think Lady Isadora is, as well... I think it's about forming our strategy...? Um.. well, that's it, so... I-I'll be going back inside... sorry..."
Mihira turned and headed back inside. She wasn't the best at telling people things, unless it was something really, really important. Maybe if she knew some of these people better, but.. she was too scared to try. The thought of the people not liking her held her back. Her only friends were the faceless, and perhaps Deborah and Needles... maybe.
A lap around the room revealed not many more open spots. Her errand made it so that all the spots were filled up. She could try to ask if she could fit, but she really disliked asking something that would possibly be an inconvenience to somebody. She really needed to eat something, though, or her performance would lack... and Vaida would force to eat some meatballs before continuing on! This called for drastic measures!
Mihira walked up to a group, ready to prepare her food, and addressed the first person she saw. "E-excuse me! May I please sit with you, so that I can eat something?! I-I really need to eat something a-a-and I really don't want to have to eat any meatballs, so please, may I?!" Mihira stopped suddenly and looked at who she was speaking to. It was Charice, that pegusus knight who had helped her in the desert. Mihira might have died if it wasn't for her. "...I know you."

Having mostly cavalry in one's unit meant that the Watch didn't have much trouble finding stalls--they just took up one big block. It'd be much easier finding their mounts next time, and besides, it was hard to miss Charice's pegasus towards one end.
Having taken care of their mounts together, they opted to eat together, using their "pack" skills to seize some spots in the name of Watch Cavalry and Falcoknights. So now, here they were, eating dinner and resting...
Suddenly, Charice jumped as Mihira addressed them with a strange (and loud) request, nearly losing her fork in the process. The group at large paused to stare at the wyvern rider, which likely wouldn't have made her feel uncomfortable. Not that this was to be rude, but to those who had never been commanded by Vaida, the word "meatballs" did not sound nearly as threatening. Whiskey (in Ghis' hands), perhaps, but not meatballs.
And then all eyes were on Charice when Mihira added, "...I know you."
Charice never fully understood how a deer feels when it's caught in the headlights of a passing car, but she did get some small inkling of what it was like right here.
"...Y-yes?" She began, strangely timid at all the stares. Then she shook her head and rallied. Come on, Charice, be a big girl, you've fought alongside these guys. Don't be frightened.
