Yuan was tired, beyond tired. He hadn't eaten in three days and his feet were starting to blister from all the traveling he had been doing all this time. Pretty much he was just about done. Yeah.
So he laid there on a boulder resting his paws. His trinkets clanked quietly as he lowered his head to lick the festering blisters.
Don't get Yuan wrong, he loved his job, but the traveling was not always fruitful. This journey was proof of that.

Tzi was getting along just fine on her journey to her new pride. A pride of music, it still sounded like a fairy tale even to her. She was more then excited to say the least.
Still, Tzi wanted to improve her singing. She could dance and had a good ear for music but singing wasn't her best area. She had some time to her self and what better way to pass the time then to sing right?
"And the zebra with their striiiiIIIIPes..." She coughed, her voice failing her. Oh dear.

Oh dear lord! What was that horrible sound!? The blue lion lifted his head a scowl clearly hanging on his face. Who dare desturb his slumber.
It didn't take long to spot the lioness. She had not even put forth the effort to conceal her self with her surroundings and was blatantly out in the open. Yuan frowned deeper. Oh boy.
Slowly the lion got to his feet and padded on over to the female.
"You'regonnacausehalfthesavannatagodeafifyou'renotcarefullass." You didn't need to understand what he was saying, the frown said it for him.

Tzi hadn't noticed the male lion until he some how snuck up beside her. She didn't fully understand what he was saying, his accent and fast paced words made it pretty difficult, but the frown said it all.
Great she had woken the locals and this one seemed more then a little ticked off.
"O-oh.." She frowned softly. "Well Im sorry if my singings woken you.. I'll.. try to not be so bad..." The lioness lowered her head sadly. It was like a kicked puppy I tell you.

Yuan's would have sank if he had one. A little bit of guilt stung at him though, but not enough for him to go out of his way to tell her how sorry he was. Because he wasn't sorry at all.
"You're pitch is off," He frowned not giving any other helpful advice. Maybe it was the lack of food that was getting to him. .. food. hmm.
"Say, maybe if you catch a hare for me you'll voice will return." He made sure to say THAT as clear as he could. Sounding out all the words in perfect english. Oh yes this was something he wanted.

Tzi looked even more confused. How was a hare supposed to help her out with her voice. It didn't seem all that ... It just didnt make sence. But the lioness shrugged, maybe this trust worthy stranger knew something she didn't.
"A hare?" She lifted a brow at him. "How am I supposed to get my voice back with a hare...."

Yuan gave her a mocked shocked kind of look as if she had offended him.
"How dare you question me! I'm a god!" He lied. "Anofferin'sallIneedtagrantchabackyourvoice. And you question some one who's tryin to do something nice for you. I should curse ya right now, I should."
He gave her a bitter scowl.

Tzi was close to tears at this point.
"No! Don't do that!" She pleaded. The lioness had met a god before... though she didn't realise til later when she had learned all about them. Apparently they came in all forms and could cloak them selves as mortals even.
Tzi sniffled back her tears, "I'll get you your hare. I didn't mean it. Really." She wiped her eyes with her paw.

Yuan lifted a brow almost giving her a surprised look but not quite. Didn't want to blow his cover.
Well that had been easy. She seemed to accept that he was a god with no questions asked. The lion shook his head still keeping a stern look. It was easy to not look pleasant when you were starving.
"You will be forgiven but now I require two hares as an offering. Other wise I'll cures you and your offspring for generations to come," He made sure to talk clearly so that his faulse threat was known.

Tzi nodded, "Of course great lord!" The terror in her voice was obvious. She wasted no time lolly gagging around either. The lion disappeared almost instantly into the brush to try and track down offerings for the great god of.... err, she hadn't asked him his domain. Oh well, she didn't want to piss him off more.
Just her luck too, tracks. Tzi followed after.

Yuan lifted a brow. That had been way to easy. No time to get excited though, she still hadnt brought back his offerings. Hmph.
The blue lion stretched out and laid down waiting on the female to return with something he could feed him self. He honestly didn't care if she only brought back one hare. He was starved.
Sure he could hunt him self but where was the challenge in that? There was no game.

Tzi was hot on the trail of something. She did not want to displease this god he seemed like he was cranky.
Though the concept of offerings seemed silly. Did a god really need to eat? Tzi frowned, the more she thought about it the more it just didn't make sense. Though winged flying lions didn't make a whole lot of sense either.
Ah well.
Oh target in site! Not what she was looking for but it would do. The lioness moved in for the kill.

Yuan was growing tired of waiting. He almost wanted to go in the brush and catch his own damn rabbit. Almost. His hunger wasn't at that point yet. Do it your self? When there were others to do your work for you? Yeah that was a laugh.
The lion laid there and waited. That female better hurry back or by gods he was gonna curse her.
Oh wait, he wasn't a god. Haha, oh yeah.

Tzi slowly made her way out of the fields holding a dead baby boar in her mighty jaws. Lucky for her there had been a baby with no parents. If there were parents then she didn't want to be around when they found the remains of their baby.
Yikes.
But honestly, she was a little annoyed her self. Tzi wasn't an easy sort to get annoy either. She dropped the lifeless carcus at the paws of a lazy Yuan.
"Here's my offering. Its no rabbit but its something." She grinned proud of her self.

Yuan eyed the thing. She was right it wasn't a rabbit but it was something better. About the size of three rabbits or more.
The lion felt his mouth water a little. He should have asked her to go find something bigger.
"Well, its not what my powers require. You have failed me mortal," He got up and picked up the baby boar.
"ButIguessyagetoffthehookforacursethistime. Ya tried after all," He shook his head and turned tail the other direction. He wasn't gonna stick around with the dead baby , Yuan was off to find a nice boar free area he could enjoy his meal alone. And thats just what he planned to do.
