I've noticed that the sub-forums are more active than the general board nowadays, which is the exact opposite of when I first joined this wonderful guild. Back then, it seemed like if you wanted a topic viewed then it had to be in the general board. I think this is in part due to the "latest topics" sub screen that pops out when you go to your "guilds" page under the "forums" tab.
Is that the sole reason though? It could also being that new members have a more specific view as to what Steampunk is about or are only interested in those specific parts of it. Or it could be that the older members, who originally joined because of a general interest, have developed a more sophisticated palate and began to focus on the particulars of Steam; i.e., fashion, cinema, crafts.
Just an interesting change I've noticed. What are your guys' thoughts on this?

a while back, there was a cleanup and crackdown on posts being made in the main forum that would better suit a subforum. since then everything has been running as it does now.
also, threads get moved to better destinations more often now...
